I’m on holiday with family members thought we would go to costa for a little brunch ordered our food and drinks everything was fine up until the point members of staff were taking turns holding a child behind the counter where they serve customers this is absolutely disgraceful and a matter of health and safety because the staff after holding the child then began serving people no hand washing or anything the child was running about while members of staff came out with hot drinks and nearly fell over the child won’t be back. Photo of member of staff holding child.
The shop had a recent revamp, but the game remains the same. The staff have their heads up their proverbial, still ignoring the customers and refilling the shelves and ovens. A roll and link sausage is now £2.50 , with one less link and still the smallest roll in the world. This truly is the last time.
Both pizzas were burnt so bad the crusts were actually black. There was barely any cheese on the pizzas or toppings . Both were inedible and went in the bin. Still can’t believe they were actually sent out like that. I would rather have waited longer for them to be re made than to be sent what we got.
The Munchy Box arrives in a pizza box so big, I mistook it for a flat-pack IKEA table. It’s a glorious mess of Scottish takeaway staples with an Indian twist: a sea of chicken tikka masala that could drown a Viking, lamb korma spicy enough to make you see bagpipes, a pile of chips that could star in a landslide documentary, and naan breads large enough to use as a windsurf. There’s also pakoras the size of golf balls, onion bhajis that could roll down Ayr High Street, and a token salad I’m convinced was just grass from Burns Statue Square. Wikipedia says munchy boxes are for sharing, but I took it as a personal challenge—and I’m still in recovery.
My pasta wasn't fully cooked, pizza was cold and £5 for a 1 slice of small garlic bread, the girls working there where nice, the service they when quite quiet but was waiting over 40 mins and we ordered in store xx
We ordered 2 fish and chips. We arrived and it was quite busy so understood we had to wait for both to be freshly made. We waited over 10mins for our food due to the lack of staff (who were trained to cook etc)
1 female staff member had to be in 2 places at once which was a shame.
It got busier and busier as we waited leaving little room to move or even get to the checkout once they called our number for order.
The food was a bit greasy and soggy in areas but a chippy is a chippy.
It's not a bad place tbh. I think we just picked a hard time to go resulting in chaos.
He was so great, really understood where we were coming from and what we were trying to do. He had great ideas and was so fast! Really great to work with all around.
Nice coffee shop next to Rugby Park, but very long queues despite it not being busy. 6 members of staff working but no organisation. Took 15 minutes to get served 1 latte.
Staff are friendly.
