Got a hamburger from the lunch menu and it was so thin I couldn't taste it also chips on the cold and soggy side I think the best thing was the tomato sauce. Won't be back and oh did I mention it expensive.

Greasy and overpriced. Worst chip shop in Hamilton. £11 for a soggy fish and about 10 chips. Suppose they have to charge that to be able to stay open. Owners are so rude. They were arguing and swearing to a customer who came in behind me because they gave them the wrong order. So unprofessional. Save your money and time and go elsewhere. The dog enjoyed the fish supper but he eats anything. Toast it is 👍🏼

Brilliant fish and chips. Excellent customer service from the staff. You might have to be patient and wait. But it's bloody worth it it when it's cooked. Would Highly Recommend It.

The only thing wrong with this shop (and I visit almost weekly,) is that it is very dated looking inside and out. However the food is always excellent, and the staff are friendly. Maybe one day they will upgrade it back to it's former glory of chip shop of the year status.

All credit to the staff here….There was a mistake with my order which I only discovered when I got home. My thanks that they rectified it speedily & satisfactorily. Also, the food was excellent quality tonight.

Got myself and a couple of work mates dinner and payed lunch time menu price of £4.80 and only got a small amount of dry chips and 1 not 2 hamburgers same with haggis and black pudding, what a rip off.

Portion size and price a ripp off .girl behind counter ,wasn't that great .taste .would never use this chip shop again

Was passing and popped in to get a small sausage supper .didn't bother to ask for the price .got it and the girl charged me 3.50 .it was one tiny sausage and a small amount of chips .asked the girl if she got it wrong ,asked how much the big one was .it was 4.80 with two large sausage and plenty of chips .Will not use this shop again.

Their fish is Amazing! The service is great and Kyle is the best Fryer! Crispy batter and moist fish!

Good and service is good however the prices are ridiculous compared to other local chippys. Way too expensive. Ie £3:80 for a roll and chips and £5:40 for a large portion of chips just won’t cut it with the locals, the woman that owns it is stunning though, you with the dark hair!

Pizza delivered pizza was like raw dough in the middle rip off definitely won't order from here again wasn't able to eat it so I've for gone dinner

Avoid this expensive place.. Large portion of chips 5 pounds fifty pence .. I know things have went up but Your taking the piss.. Why so expensive?? It's a chip shop not a posh restaurant..and you can't park outside shop zig zags you'll get a ticket.. If you want to buy anything from here save up .. I won't be back..

Been to loads of chip shops and not once have I had any issues. I’ve been on two occasions, the first time I went in to ask the price of something for a family member and when I asked the lady just huffed and went over to the till and checked then told me. Based on that I didn’t buy anything because she had such an attitude for no reason. The second time I went in and actually bought something and took them home, when I got home and opened it I started laughing at what they’d given me. None of them had more than 15 chips. The prices are high so you expect the food to be good and portioned reasonably but that’s not the case. Rip off

Small portion of chips 3 pounds ?? Large portion nearly 4 pounds.. Rip off , won't be back . Other chip shops I've visited are under 2 pounds for small chip portion, and under 3 for large . Why so expensive? And you can't park outside yellow lines , zig zags. Avoid this place.

Terrible staff treatment on the phone no dips pizza cold girl on phone suggested we wait over an hour for dips hung up phone on me sorry hen your customer service skills are a shambles. Ps get a new career

Wouldn't recommend had awful experience with rolls and fritter don't waste your money food quality terrible no potato in fritter,just batter.we will use another as there is plenty around to choose from

Was out for a wee chippy in Hamilton with the family and this place was recommended by a friend omg what a disappointment food was stone cold and could have smashed a window with the chips and the young till attendants well done for putting up with the horrible bosses in the back and btw(crack a smile) would highly advise people stay away rank rotten and very pricey

Used to be a real regular at this chippy. Great value and consistent quality but recently (November 2021 onwards) the food has bene ultra greasy. Lots of grease/fat lying on the paper at the bottom of the box/ soaking through the cardboard boxes on occasion. Gave it a second/third chance in case it was a change in potatoes (it is November after all) or oil etc. But no better. Will be giving it a miss for a while.

Red raw burger, then called me a liar. Said they would send another I wait over an hour and nothing turns up so I call them they then say we didn't tell you we would redeliver when they did!! Called me a liar saying it's not raw. Look at the photos clearly red raw!!

I've tried many times to find the best chippy shop out there. This one on my opinion it is actually really good. Chunky chips, well fried fish, excellent smoked sausage and steak pie supper. Portion are really generous and more than enough to fill your stomach. Pizza is really good as well (I'm not talking about deep fried pizza). Definitely worth the money.

Literally inedible, over £20 and its all i the bin.. pizza crunch tasted like old socks and the chips were from last Thursday I think... Curry sauce was like greasy pish water... however my 5 year old said the sausages were nice 👌 overall if you were to serve this in jail I reckon there would be a mass hunger strike... the guy who served me couldn't have been any nicer mind you, decent service just dreadful food...

I don't normally write reviews but this was exceptional. Ordered Special fish, chips & pickles. It was tremendous.....we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Breadcrumbs nicely cooked & crisp, fresh white flaky fish, chips lovely & pickles crunchy. Staff are very friendly & professional... So Thankyou dinner was great & well worth buying a takeaway tonight👍😊

Worst chip shop ever , nothing is ever correct when u order delivery , attitude from staff when u call to complain is shocking , as if there mistakes are your fault , food has went down hill over the years and prices have went up ....... stay clear !!!

This chippy is the best one in Hamilton and they honestly do the best pizza crunches ever!! The prices are decent and the staff are really friendly. If you go there be sure to try their curry sauce too! Yum.

Dissatisfied with the 2 meals I bought from here. Have not been to Fionda's for years and I won't be back again in a hurry. I'm all for helping out local businesses but the taste and quality of the food doesn't compare to the prices, sorry to say but I would of been better going to McDonald's!

I was just in fiondas in Hamilton the portion of chips I was gave was shocking weres the justification in 4.75 for a sausage supper way practically no chips !! And to top it of the sausage was super greasy disgusting !!!!!

Fancy a snack this is it, the fish and chips are a tasty (decent size portion), sausage and chips, chicken and chips or just a few fritters, clean , tidy and very good service.

Great chip shop, the best in town the staff are great and the food is fantastic , I would highly recommend you try them out. Not be disappointed

Not the best chip shop in Hamilton only use it as convenience as its only over the road. But tonight will be the last night. Bought 2 sausage suppers. Bit into sausage grease went everywhere all down my chin all over my top and arms couldn't eat it. Will be using Alfies from now on even if it means coming back up on the bus to keep it hot

Needed a fork for pizza far two soggy.

Only place i usually go to but after the white pudding supper and single I went for tonight will give it a miss from now on. Certainly ample portion but the batter was inedible. Considering I had to wait for it to be cooked the batter was hard and burned! Had to leave the batter and scrape out the filling. Also the chips were cold. Sorry have always thought this chip shop was one of the best but not now, what has happened?

When we are having fish & chips we always go here as we find it the best in town. The cost is slightly higher than other places but well worth the extra.

Bought a fish supper tonight and the chips were scraps and cold. The fish was mainly batter. Phoned manager or owner to complain and he was quite dismissive. I won’t be back.

Best fish supper in Hamilton very popular and busy chip shop I would highly recommend great products and variety.

£2.05 for chips at lunchtime (7/17) drive down the road and its £2.50 for burger and chips.

Was rather disappointing as I had to pay £6.80 for a black pudding supper with an extra 1 (sausage) as I wanted a sausage supper but they only had one and had non left in shop. Thing is I had just moved to new house so you could imagine WHAT a SHOcK I got with that price! No even quantilianies in larkhall would have charged me this amount and this was a pick up as well no even a delivery

This gas been our local for years but the level of customer service we received when they got our order was astonishing! The manager was rude, agreed they got delivery wrong but refused to sort it! Totally disappointed.
