We had dinner and a 40th birthday party for our daughter in the function suite. The meals were excellent and the late buffet catered for everyone, with vegetarian items clearly marked. Staff could not have been more helpful, especially Steve, Paula and Jackie.
One best meals to date.Food was amazing and good value for being upmarket.Service was spot on and not long to wait.Wine was very per bottle.Highly recommend
So disappointing as it looks such a lovely place located in a church. It was very busy and staff appeared unhappy in their work and unable to cope. I encountered rudeness and a bizarre seating policy - feverently enforced with spectacular inconsistency! This may explain the extreme variations in reviews!

We visited for lunch as a family of 3.
We arrived quite early but were greeted warmly, and our waitress remained excellent and attentive throughout.
The restaurant itself is very light, with huge windows and a nice layout making for a very pleasant atmosphere.
We visited at lunch and both me and my wife ordered from this menu. For lunch one of their major offerings is a series of different "bruschetta" dishes, including several which are available Gluten free.
Unfortunately the interpretation of bruschetta was not what we expected, as the bread was fried and incredibly oily. After eating my plate was covered in a film of oil which had seeped out.
Toppings wise it was mixed, their black pudding and Haggis with homemade whisky sauce was lovely, but the sweet chilli chicken was weird. Rather than the traditional expected sweet chilli sauce it felt like a sweet and sour sauce had some jalapeños cut up and put through it which unfortunately was not very pleasant.
Kids menu wise the sandwich and accompaniments were fine, and the colouring books provided and special child utensils were excellent and much appreciated.
Lovely spot for brunch/lunch.
Really colourful plates of food, lots of options and the coffee was great. Chai latte was spot on!
Cakes and bakes were good - magic is really in the savoury dishes!

Meh, it's not my favourite but my lovely wife Keith, who is autistic in the foot decided to start licking the walls before one of your employees drop kicked him in his balls (bert and ernie) NOW I CANT GARGLE THEM! Your vindaloo was cheeky though
Same very good selection of beers . Didn't try the food . Staff seemed pleasant enough. However be aware this place serves great beer however if you are looking for a soft drink check the price before ordering. The soft drinks are more expensive than the beers.
Excellent breakfast. I ordered the small breakfast and it was very generous. Very tasty thick bacon, lovely sausages and perfect poached egg.
Very much enjoyed the food, the location setting and cheerful prompt service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Amuse. Our server was lovely and polite, efficient and attentive. For starters, we enjoyed chicken liver parfait - smooth like butter, light and flavourful and paired with mango chutney - delicious! The other starter we had was the pasta dish - full of flavour, perfectly cooked. For main we enjoyed beef cheeks - tender and fall apart, served with creamy and rich mash and selection of vegetables. Absolutely delicious! Our second main was steak au poivre - beef was so tender and fall apart, and the sauce was outstanding. Rich, velvety and concentrated.
Definitely an amazing experience, and if we ever come to Aberdeen again, we will be back!

Place was absolutely dead for a Friday night. Probably due to the saffron garden opening up nearby.
Service and food were really good though, and substantially less expensive than the others in town
