The New Greentrees in Aberdeen City

I was there yesterday for lunch with my family. The food was excellent in every way, and I'm an ex hotelier with high standards!! I opted for the carvery option and everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The portions were generous!! The staff were very efficient and polite. They were attentive without being intrusive I will certainly be back and take others with me

Service was good and didn't have long to wait for food to be served. Would like to see a snack menu offered for evening meals also. Very clean and tidy and good quite atmosphere. I felt the price was a bit steep, but just in line with other restaurants. Good parking available.

First time visiting today and so glad we did.I had soup my husband had haggis bonbons, then fresh haddock and steak pie.Was delicious and huge portions.Will definitely be back .

Fish and Chips....yah..go here!!! There are many great fush and chops places in this part of the world, this one is at the top of the list!!

The staff were so attentive, very helpful and well mannered, they made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Very clean and compliments to chef for the cauliflower soup it was outstanding, I've only tasted soup like it once so there was a high expectation on my behalf but it excelled that and then some it was so delicious, thankyou for your hospitality, its not easy going into a restaurant with autistic children but they made the kids feel at ease , will definitely be back if we are up this way again.

We decided to try The Greentrees this week as we had seen the menu posted on social menu and liked the look of it. Also we hadn't been here before and its always nice to try new venues. The place was quiet when we arrived and we were the only diners in the restaurant but we were early. We chose a pizza from the pizza menu and a burger from the main menu. Both dishes were delicious and we really enjoyed them. We wanted to sample a dessert so we saved a bit of space by taking some of the pizza home. The staff were quite happy to box it up for us. We chose a sticky toffee pudding to share and it was lovely. The lady who served us was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning soon.

I came here with my dad just before he was about to get on his flight after visiting as we were looking for something that was cheap and cheerful, but also very nice! We were both definitely recommend this restaurant as it is good prices for what you get and it is also very good food basically really nice pub grub

Waste of time and money. We went for Mother’s Day dinner but we hadn’t gone in a while, it honestly hasn’t changed from the dingy, drab restaurant it always has been. The interior looks like a kids school disco hall but somehow worse. The relative who booked it asked if there was a set menu and was told no, but when we got there they only had a set menu (or chicken goujons or fish once we complained) and the minimum for 2 courses was £25 which a number of us weren’t super happy with as the menu was pretty simple and limited. We ordered and the first thing was my mums garlic bread was still frozen… the simplest thing but hey ho. I had calamari and it was great so I had high expectations for the main. I was sorely wrong. Most of us had the Greentrees Chicken. Keeping in mind 2 courses were £25, my calamari I would pay about £7 so basically valuing my main as £18. Keeping that in mind it was the most disappointing, sad and anemic looking food. A teaspoon of “skirlie” (which was actually white pudding, just say white pudding), a side salad(?) made up of massive chunks of boiled carrots and sliced courgettes, and a whopping 3 roast potatoes. My aunt got ice cream as a pudding, £6.95 for literally just 3 tiny scoops of ice cream. Thankfully the staff were supper lovely and sorted us out throughout the meal. One of the staff also agreed that they’re stingy on the sides and told us on a Sunday they put 2 roast potatoes in their roasts. Honestly I dont know how this place is still standing, it’s a total rip off with the overpriced but below average food.

Working in the area, went to watch football and a couple of pints, needed someone to drive so obviously require non acholic beverage. Pint of Stella £4.80 fair enough but £4.50 for a pint of coke is a bit extreme.

ordered a pizza was amazing 100% recommend to order or to come in.

Chips always seasoned well chicken fillets alway nice and crunchy the sweet chilli dip is standard for todays food industry macaroni is amazing nice home cooked rather than packet food big portion size always delivered on time and cause often put in orders from time to time have received a complimentary cheesecake which everyone has bin perfect 😁👍👌

Meals were delicious and plenty to eat not too expensive nice surroundings. What else do you need. Beer was very nice sd well

We had amazing late lunch there. The food was AMAZING! Everything was freshly cooked and tasty. The restaurant looks lovely and big bonus is free parking space. We had a nice waitress. I guess she was new there but polite, friendly and helpful. I 100% recommended this restaurant if you want to have a nice lunch/dinner.

Not been here for a while, it's always been good, lovely food & attentive staff. We revisited mid afternoon last Saturday for lunch and wow!!! Superb food, friendly, knowledable staff & great atmosphere. We had sweet & sour chicken & our son beef steak pie, all faultless. Chicken succulent & beef tender. Generous portions too. Would've been 'rude' not to look at sweet menu, & so glad we did😊 cheesecake delicious, again generous portions & sticky toffee pud light and tasty. Not a bad word to say about our visit & we will definately be back. Thank you for our happy tummies!!!!

A warm and friendly greeting was bestowed upon us as we entered the premises. A very tasty and tantalising menu was handed to us quite quickly. The food ordered certainly didn't disappoint, and in todays market the prices were reasonable to say the least.

We had friends and family visit from over seas, we thought all 15 of us would go to the Greentrees for food and drinks… we arrived first and sat in the car park, only to experience a group sitting outside, playing music, shouting, being disrespectful to their surroundings, and swearing non stop… f**k this, f**k that, f***ing f***ing f***ing… not the welcome I wanted our guests to experience, or anyone should for that matter… as you can imagine we left and went elsewhere in Dyce… not impressed, and will definitely be telling others about this experience!!!

Had a smashing good time! The beef and ale pie had a great puff on the top, piping hot, and not too spicy. The fries were absolutely top notch, and all the mashed potatoes needed was a bit of salt and pepper. The generous portion of fish and chips was equally pleasing, and the hazy IPA on tap (along with David's expert service) awarded us with a five star experience. Highly recommended, to be certain.

Expensive bottle wine 20 pounds food nothing special ,there was 6 in party all thought same staff very nice .greentrees does not warrant prices sorry

Visited following a funeral. Lovely fresh sandwiches, hot sausage rolls and a brilliant cup of tea. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic service and food was really nice.

Went for a drink in the afternoon here at the end of May . Friend's had booked a table , which was outside, but it was a bit chilly. Staff spoke to owner who said they had something inside ,but only for 2hrs. This was fine as we had a booking at the Spiders for later. Spoke to the owner later ,who was really friendly and said we could stay all night . Ended up having something to eat which was delicious. Better value both food and drinks than the local competition . Don't know if pool table is operational due to Covid, have played here before with a team a few years ago and table was good then. Friendly service. Would go again.

Visited here the day before Fathers day to miss any crowds. The restaurant is well spaced out and hand gel at each table. Good Covid precautions. Food and service were very good, was pleasantly surprised. Prices were reasonable and serving sizes were large and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

The food was tremendous and the staff were spot on the tables were set out at 2 metres apart and only the same bubble were allowed at th same table the publican had everything under control and we would absolutely recommend it to all

Have been coming here for years but the recent revamp to the menu is just amazing! it's full of flavour and so fresh! Will have to work my way through the whole menu now!

Because of Coronavirus we booked a table for two households On arrival you have to wear a face mask wait to be seated wearing your mask until your are seated and wear your mask going to the toilet no face mask no entry It seemed to work well

Went for dinner on a.wednesday evening. The menu was ok, pub fare, and the food.on arrival was ok pub fare. It was nothing to write home about. The surroundings were clean but a bit dreary and tired. The eating area was next to the lounge bar but separated which was good. Service was.good with pleasant staff who were attentive but not on your face. Overall not bad but not great either.

Great place for a wee drink. Bar with pool table and dart board. Nice lounge with comfy seating and fire to keep you warm on the cold days . Regular entertainment with various tribute bands that's always a great night. Delicious food served in lounge or bar and even a Sunday carvery, Child friendly.

Staff and friends of the staff , speaking to each other in the most terrible manners , I never heard so many S words and F words having my dinner . I understand they may cannot control how the public speaks to each other , but the restaurant staff speaking in that manner is not acceptable . I need to leave as soon I had my food because I was really uncomfortable with the situation. Definitely is not a place to take your family for a dinner specially if you got children . Is a shame because the food was actually ok. I had food in the restaurant area ,and people was screaming bad language to each other . I am not coming back. Date of visit 22/10/2019. Dinner.

Clean & tidy with excellent buffet. Unusually for a function the Greentrees staffed up to accommodate the numbers present (many pubs do not!) and all credit to them for this.

You can get a wonderful selection of starters, mains and deserts which all have their own unique tastes.

This was an inspired choice for a visit whilst travelling north. Took out seats in the restaurant & everyone (4 adults) ordered something from the excellent menu & no-one was disappointed. The decor is lovely & the waiting staff were very nice & efficient. I would highly recommend The Greentrees & will definitely return if I travel through Dyce again.

Had lunch here today with my grown up son and daughter. Have passed many times but this was our first visit. The only negative was that both my first and second choices were unavailable, hence my mark of 4 instead of 5. My children both had burgers, although different kinds, and both were very good indeed. They were obvious freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The portions were not huge, but were more than adequate and very reasonably priced. Very good pub grub and we will definitely go back!

Great customer service! Went for fathers day, had the sharing plater, tasty but could maybe add a little to this as the selection was a bit simple. The carvory was brilliant - all the cuts of meat were extremely tasty, especially the beef, and not dried out like some. Pudding was good but couldnt finish as was stuffed from the stuffing! Overall great place, just need to remember to say thanks and goodbye to your customers!

Beautiful meal friendly and helpful staff if you don't see what you would like on the menu they will try to get you what you want ,
