Shri Bheema's in Aberdeen City

Very disappointed. I ordered from Shri Bheema because on its website it said the Bridge of Don location was open. I ordered for collection with the JustEat website quoting me 5:20 for pickup. When I finished processing the order at 5:03 the confirmation said pickup had changed to 6:05. Not ideal, but manageable. I arrived at the Bridge of Don location to find out that it was closed and the food was coming from Belmont Street. I was disheartened by this, but they explained they could not get staff from India to fill the kitchen. I really want to be sympathetic, but it was 6:40 before my food arrived which leads to my poor review. The food was good. Lamb korma was light and sweet, perfect for my kids. Chicken patia was surprisingly spicy, but so delicious I ate through the sweats. The naan was huge and each curry would give two generous portions. However, Shri Bheema is more expensive than others and if you can't get the food in good time, then my view is it isn't worth it.

Ordered food for delivery at 5 pm . Thought it was from Bridge of Don takeaway. When it didn’t appear after a hour . We phoned to be told it would be coming from another restaurant. After another hour if finally arrived. Only Luke warm food . Very disappointed with the whole service

Ordered food at 18.30 and it didn't arrive till 20.45 after several calls to the restaurant. Don't know if the food was good. I didn't feel it was worth over £40 after the long wait.

Recently got a delivery from here; arrived late by over an hour and cold too - and to top it off was charged £1.50 for a single poppadom (which most places would give multiple of for free). Did phone to check that the price was correct and apparently a portion is 1 poppadom. The food itself would've been quite good if it was warmer but that's not much consolation.

Overall very good. A bit bit more oil used but overall good taste. Nice ambience. Parking space available.

Great Indian food. Lovely selection of curry, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and pretty much all of it is great. On weekdays they have a mixed dish called a tali, which is great if you're an indecisive person. I just had a lamb korma with coconut rice and a naan bread, but hot dang, it was the creamiest korma I've ever had. Costs a pretty penny, though, but if it's a special occasion or you just want to splurge, it's quite worth it. Highly recommended.

Excellent food & Excellent staff. I am a regular customer and they appreciate the business. Makes me want to return every week. I have tried almost all Indian restaurants in Aberdeen, from very cheap to very expensive. Shri Bheemas offer the best value, and excellent food. The Biryani is the best in Aberdeen by a long stretch, and I am a fussy eater. Thanks.

Ordered food paid by card and then it was never delivered, no phone call to say why and the Just Eat app informed us we could review our meal even though we never recieved it!? Will be phoning back tomorrow for the money back, what kind of takeout charges you for the luxury of ending up with no food??? Edit - food turned up after over an hour when 30 minutes was the delivery time!!! And part of the order was missing!!

Quality fresh Indian food and great service

Had a very enjoyable evening last night. Twelve of us all said it’s the best Indian food we have tasted in a long time. Saj our waiter was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Fantastic, authentic Indian food, not your usual run of the mill Indian curry. Great staff. Be sure and give the front door a good push, we thought it was locked initially.

We ordered takeway online, it was ready in less than 30 minutes for collection. The food was nice and tasty.

Went for the buffet lunch using an itison voucher. The member of staff was a bit stand-offish but not rude in any way. The food was all delicious, freshly prepared and good quality. There wasn't a huge selection but they kept bringing out more things in small batches - much better than having loads of lukewarm options like you'd get at other buffet places. There wasn't much information about what things were though, and the food was mostly quite spicy. I'd go back, but not for the buffet. The food was all delicious, but I don't know what I ate and my other half doesn't like so much spice!

Good Indian, service quick and friendly. Sit in is better than take away in my opinion.

I went here for lunch with my family this is the worst indian restaurant on planet earth, the starters were ok but cold as for the main course tasted just like a ready meal the nan bread was so tough 2breakdown trucks could not tear it apart,if you were looking for a decent indian go into town and not here.

Food always great, lunch great value. Had not been for a while due to time in France but delighted to say as good as ever.

Used to be best place to enjoying south Indian food, recently they have extended the menu offering delicious starters and main meal. Plenty of space inside and good parking area.

Good to sit in but mainly use it for takeaway. Food is of consistently high quality.

Food is excellent. The quality of food is great. The options on the menu is good. The restaurant itself is clean. One can also arrange birthday parties etc. The negative is the service. That's the reason for not giving it 5 stars. The review is based on visiting the place around 5 times.

Good option for Indian food in Aberdeen

Great place for Indian Curry lovers to dine in and take outs. This place is not just a curry house but offers a attached bar, pool, darts and a function suite and more. Loved it.

Excellent, very friendly and pleasant staff and service. Excellent food big portions but can't complain. Catered to requests. Definitely recommend and in the spree book.

Excellent restaurant well balanced meals

We dropped in without a reservation on New Years Eve, but they kingly managed to fit us in. We had a masala dosa and paneer biryani, which was plenty to fill us up, much to the worry of the servers "we must have appetites like sparrows" :o) The food is certainly equal to that of the partner restaurant in town. The only down side was that it shared a building with a bar, whose music we could hear through the wall.

Love the food here and their lunchtime buffet is excellent value for money! The service is always very pleasant.

Amazing food and brilliant service! Highly recommend eating here and the prices are very reasonable. The only thing is that we struggled to find it- follow directions for the Bridge of Don driving test centre and follow them- when you get to the test centre there is a car park and a bar and restaurant opposite, the restaurant is Shri Bheema's.

#Chicken Korma is perfect here. Authentic indeed. Not your typical "sugary take away style" Korma, but a nice one,
