Was positively surprised by this hotel. Location wise it is in the city center in the area with many bars, cafes and restaurants (so might be a little bit noisy on weekends, but I’m a good sleeper so didn’t bother me at all), and all major sightseeing places within walking distance. Room was clean, well equipped and seemed like it was recently renovated. I didn’t meet anyone from the staff during my 2 night stay, all communication was through messages and calls, but instructions were super clear, so didn’t have any issues of finding the hotel and checking into the room. There is also storage area in the hotel, so you can leave your luggage before check in / after check out and explore the city luggage free. Considering the price, location and facilities, I give this hotel 5/5

Great and detailed check-in information in advance. The hotel is located in the middle of an area with many small bars and pubs. Large, clean room and bathroom. Absolutely top value for money.

A very good value, no thrills hotel. Clean, with basics covered. Cafe was closed when we arrived (2pm) but we received a text and email with instructions on how to gain entry (quite an easy process). Downside, if you're a light sleeper the noise of revellers outside may keep you awake, stayed 2 nights and it was about 1am before it quietened down on a weekday.

I didnt get to stay here because of plans change, but I just want to express my gratitude to staff. I got full refund for cancelation, only thanks to good will of The Coffee House Hotel. Good people!

Não tendo recepção fiquei um pouco apreensivo, mas contactando telefonicamente os números disponíveis deram o apoio necessário. Fiquei agradavelmente surpreendido com o tamanho do meu quarto, com o aquecimento central muito eficaz, casa de banho ampla e tudo impecável. Tem chás e cafés disponíveis. O facto do roupeiro ser aberto é muito prático para estadias curtas. No dia seguinte tive a oportunidade de falar com a senhora que arruma os quartos e foi de uma simpatia extrema, ajudando a resolver um problema menor.

The bar is controlled by a “mafia” of locals that think of it as their space and they hate people sitting on “their” chairs or taking dogs into “their” space. Management are complicit so best to avoid at all costs.

Meh, it's not my favourite but my lovely wife Keith, who is autistic in the foot decided to start licking the walls before one of your employees drop kicked him in his balls (bert and ernie) NOW I CANT GARGLE THEM! Your vindaloo was cheeky though

Very disappointing. They close at 9:30pm on a Friday, yet we came in at 8:30pm tonight and they said they were closed. I guess the manager had the night off...won't be returning. Don't forget to blame "lack of footfall" when you tell P&J why you're closing. *Update* Oh, they've gone out of business 3 months later. What a surprise. 🤦♂️

Cosmo Aberdeen has had a very terrible change in their payment policy. We have been regulars going in big groups for birthdays or special occasions but no more. Firstly they tried to charge £2.99 as an extra charge when questioned it was for kids we had a 5 month old who only drinks breast milk and 2 toddlers who are 17 months old. The toddlers did not eat any meals perhaps only a chip or spring roll from our own plates. They took this charge off our bill for us to then find out if you pay cash they do not give any change and if u pay card it has to be equal payments each and not what you ate individually meaning you cannot pay for your own food and drinks, so if someone has 3 or more drinks you end up paying for that. They said it’s there policy and there was no way for them to accept any other form of payment. They did put this in the t&c confirmation email but they did not inform if you pay cash you don’t get change back so why is the buffet £21:99 making it very awkward to get change back so indirectly trying to steal from you
