Be careful to walk past the blue lamp if you are going to a jazz night, I thought the doors were closed but turns out that was for the pub as opposed to event space.
Lovely meal again. This restaurant never disappoints. Great food at very reasonable prices - served promptly by lovely staff. Good sized portions, lots of choices. In particular the Bistro Stir Fry with chicken & prawns was amazing! Also enjoyed was the homemade Lasagne, Chicken & Mushroom Stroganoff & massive battered haddock! Sublime Sticky toffee with lots of lovely sauce. Well worth a visit- highly recommend.
Spectacularly good. My folks owned a fish and chipper back in the 70s. So I know my fish n chips. This was the best I have ever had. My wife had seafood penne. Fabulous flavours, really nicely done. The ambience is great. The staff were great. Was here a few years ago and it was okay. It is not okay now ...it's brilliant. Someone running a tight ship here! Highly recommended!
Stayed nearby on holiday, visited twice for breakfast and lunch, brilliant, Stornaway black pudding with poached egg - 5 stars who ever introduced it into the menu!
We also were impressed with the shop, all stock is local and quality, Finzean Honey is one of the best I tried in my life, and I tried a lot as my father was a beer keeper.
When I’m visiting up north I always book for lunch and it never disappoints . Really good portions and a fair price with excellent service. Never been disappointed
The staff were very helpful and the girl serving was attentive and the food was delicious that the chefs made good choices quick service I would recommend it enjoyable
Been several times to the Fife and it never, ever disappoints.
From a warm welcome by the lovely staff, lovely setting to eat and drink to fabulous food!
The owners are very humble and down to earth with a real passion for the service they deliver!
It’s all to easy to complain about negative experiences but for us, The Fife, ALWAYS DELIVERS…
Well worth a stop before all others in this area.
All the staff were lovely and welcoming. I came for a late lunch and the food was lovely , the panini was hot and the salad was nice and had dressing on!!
Reviewed this place positively well over a year ago and - if anything - it is even better. Customers were queueing out the door and along the pavement. The staff, though very busy, seem to juggle every task with good nature and fun. Kelly, in particular, is amazing. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. Just a pity it's not open 7 days, but then, everybody is entitled to time off and this is quality, not quantity. The home baking is in a class of its own.

Fantastic meal, fantastic service. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome. The service was great even though the restaurant was busy. The food was wonderful, amazing flavours and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.
