Rowies aren't the same, used to be quite soft and fluffy, now they just seem over cooked and bland. Steak Pies are full of Grizzly bits aswell. No care and attention and staff look bloody miserable.

Haven't been to the Moonfish in some time but was delighted to be back for lunch. The set menu was great and the food and service was excellent. The meal was rounded off with the most amazing desert I have had in years, almost ordered another! Only drawback is that it's always busy and difficult to get a table.. Reservations ahead of time are a must... I need to be more organised!

Only one night spent at this hotel to break up the journey between Edinburgh and Inverness.
It's impossible to judge the surroundings since we didn't stay long enough, but the hotel itself is superb and high-quality. Free parking. Access to the upper floors by badge in the elevator, very spacious room, perfect bathroom with a very modern and powerful shower. Nothing to complain about. The breakfast is also a hit; there's truly something for everyone, nothing is missing. It's truly impeccable.
Made welcome . They had McEwans export on tap at a very reasonable price. Loved all the paintings of customers in the bar I will have to try their menu one day. Definitely go back for another visit.

This Bistro is as good as it gets, there again last Saturday evening with friends and had an excellent dinner. Great starters of scallops & soup, lobster mains and one other main which escapes me, oh and managed a sweet, fabulous. A few drinks including a couple of bottles of wine, very.
The sad news is, we were told it was closing permanently the following evening Sunday and it has, due to lack of business which is a terrible shame. We travelled all the way up from Laurencekirk picking up friends en-route as we have done in the past. It a shame an establishment like this have closed.
The word inspiration equals impunity because the food has nothing Jamaican about it, the prices are astronomical and the portions are ridiculously small (4 slices of banana £4.50) which doesn't even make 1 whole banana ridiculous🙄.
The Jerk sauce is yellow (I've never seen one like that). The flavor isn't there which is an insult to Jamaican cuisine. Now I don't know if that's because there are no Jamaicans in the kitchen or if it was adapted to the Scottish palate 🤷🏾♀️
Another great cafe find in the Shire with tasty food and coffee , toasties were fab and a really good flat white , cafe was busy but the service was quick and friendly , definitely a place we will come back to when next in Kemnay, update with a new photo including the poached eggs on mushrooms which were fantastic , easy recommendation
Just wanted to leave a review from our visit in the summer.
The food is always great and the service fantastic, you really helped us out with our 2 'fussy' eaters.
Thanks again, I'm sure we'll be back in the summer again.
