Turkish Kitchen in Aberdeen City

Love coming here to eat. I’ve been alone before and with friends, but more often like today, we came as a big family table of 9. Always greeted with a warm welcome. My partners daughter (11) said she felt like she was walking in on the red carpet when everyone was saying hello to her 😂 The complimentary salad, bread and dips were delicious as always. It’s such a nice touch. The kids food came first, without having to ask, which is a thoughtful extra. They’re old enough now that they can happily wait, but if you had younger kids, it’s a bonus. The staff were super friendly and attentive and remembered what everyone ordered which I appreciate!! We were here today to celebrate my dad’s birthday, he sadly passed away a few months ago. He loved his holidays in Kalkan, Turkey. Mum said the food was just like being there. It made a hard occasion more enjoyable. We noted there was an extra seat at the table which wasn’t on purpose but felt poignant. I like the busy atmosphere ..I like watching all the people who work in the kitchen, they’re flawless and the variety of people and families that come in. Never disappoints!

We dined here in the evening (party of 7) all having starters and mains. Every one of us loved the food, great selection and caters for all (lots of vegetarian options). Staff are attentive and friendly and the food arrived promptly. All freshly prepared and AMAZING flavours. First time I've been, will now make it a regular

As a picky eater that never usually likes any food at restaurants, this is the first time I truly enjoyed the food and thought it deserved a Michelin star. The food had a delicious smoky grilled taste and excellent flavour. The portions were massive and definitely worth the price and the food contained both quality and quantity. The staff paid good attention to everyone even during busy times and were very friendly, even providing free complimentary Turkish delights at the end as well as yummy bread at the start of the course. Not only was their food good but their dessert had the same high standard too (it's usually rare to find a restaurant with both good food and good dessert). So if you are looking for a good place to eat authentic Turkish food and high quality grilled meat then I definitely recommend this place. P.S I forgot to take pictures as I wasn't expecting the food to be this good.

Me gusta ir a la hora del almuerzo para la envoltura de pollo, tan buena relación calidad-precio para la comida de buena calidad, los camareros y camareras son siempre amables y hacen todo lo posible para ayudarte, estuve en un par de semanas y un camarero en particular fue genial con mi bebé , son pequeñas cosas como esta que hacen de este lugar un lugar maravilloso para comer, mantenlo arriba cocina turca ⭐️

A very friendly and helpful place to shop. The Turkish people treat you very well. Recommended for Butcher meats ect.

We ordered the feast for 4 for home delivery directly through the website and it was absolutely amazing. The packaging, presentation and temperature of the food was excellent - the selections of sides and dips was greatly appreciated and the star of the meal was the different meats, rice, grain and breads - delicious. Looking forward to dining in person, would highly recommend. We only ordered as our guest could only eat halal food and we are so glad they did as we found this restaurant!

Lovely , well priced and varied lunch menu. Bread and dips brought to table gratis. Soup was well seasoned, bored, home made and tasty. Shish Kebab was freshly cooked nicely , rice great and salad fresh. Service was friendly and competent. Would return anytime.

Fantastic experience! I was really impressed with both the food quality and the delivery service. Everything arrived promptly, and the dishes were fresh and flavorful. The chocolate cake, in particular, was superb—definitely one of the best I’ve had! Despite the delivery charge, I would absolutely order again. Highly recommend!

Siempre he sido un gran fan de la cocina turca, he dado críticas favorables en el pasado. Revisité de nuevo anoche, ya que había pasado un tiempo. Aunque esperábamos que un sábado por la noche estuviera ocupado, lo hemos visto más ocupado, nos sentimos muy decepcionados en general. Habíamos pedido bebidas y comida, dentro de literalmente 5 minutos nuestra comida fue desplumada y la camarera dijo que volvería con nuestro pan y ensalada, que nunca apareció. Esto finalmente fue rectificado por la dirección, pero para ese momento ya casi habíamos terminado nuestra comida. No recibimos nuestras bebidas hasta que estuvimos más de la mitad de nuestra comida, lo cual no fue genial ya que habíamos pedido una botella de vino para acompañar la comida. Cuando finalmente llegaron las bebidas, el pedido estaba equivocado. Tuvimos que esperar hasta que se rectificara. La comida era sabrosa como de costumbre, pero fría a la llegada y nos dimos cuenta de que los tamaños de las porciones han disminuido gradualmente con los años, no tan buena relación calidad-precio como una vez fue. Aunque todavía hay un gran ambiente, especialmente en fin de semana, se puede ver que se trata más de girar las mesas rápidamente, no de permitir que los clientes disfruten de una comida tranquila. Seguiremos apoyando la cocina turca, pero evitaremos un fin de semana y lo haremos durante la semana, cuando el servicio puede ser menos caótico.

We had an awful experience at this restaurant. We booked a table for 13 well in advance, but when we arrived, they didn't have a table ready for us. They moved us not once, but twice before finally getting the seating right. After we were seated, it took 20 minutes just to get menus, and then we waited ages before anyone came to take our drinks and food order. We had made it clear that we had a show to catch at 19:30, but despite informing them ahead of time, we were completely neglected. No one seemed to care about the time crunch, and after waiting far too long without being served properly, we had no choice but to leave without even getting to eat dinner. To make matters worse, there wasn’t a single apology from the staff, we only received one apology from one of the chefs! At least they said the drinks were free. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning. This place seriously needs to improve its customer service!

Excelente pollo köfta, perfectamente cocinado. Grandes camareros. Sin duda el mejor Baklava que he tenido. Absolutamente divino.

My son has been a regular here for a while .First time for me.The food was absolutely amazing words fail me how good this place is. The main waiter Carlos is fantastic and full or character..I will be back ..Highly recommended

This is one of the best grill restaurants. Here are delicious meat and fish dishes traditional for Turkish national cuisine and also Mediterranean. The staff is very trained, hospitable, everyone is polite, the service is fast, the prices are average, the portions of dishes are large, I definitely recommend trying the lamb, lamb ribs cooked on an open fire, this is a very tasty national turkish dish.

We had a great time having a delicious and tasty meal @ Muzo's. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth it 👌. Definitely we will have a visit again soon.

The restaurant is located across from the beach on the north sea. We couldn’t see the view from inside, from the front of the restaurant. It was lovely. We even saw the harvest moon. I’m leaving. Enjoy very tasty food, including lamb, delicious sauce, pita bread, and salads. The service is very good. I definitely recommend it if you like Mediterranean food. Prices are reasonable.

If I could rate higher then I would! The food was exceptional and the service was out of this world. I had the vegetable moussaka for the main which had an amazing texture and flavour. I was so full but just couldn’t stop eating, it was so good! We were so well looked after by the staff. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for everyone in Aberdeen!! Cafer and team were amazing, can’t wait to be back!

This is my favourite restaurant in Aberdeen! I love Turkish cuisine and always enjoying the welcoming atmosphere in this place. This is kind of little slice of Turkey in the north. Also I would love to say a huge thanks for all the great staff at Muzo’s restaurant, they are doing a fantastic service! Ellerine sağlik !

Was really surprised how delicious was food, you also get complimentary salad and pita. I ordered octopus, it was really delicious and one of the best calamari. Really good prices for big portions, place to go when you are in Aberdeen.

We had their platter and some other Turkish dishes as well. All the dishes were well cooked, well seasoned and juicy. Also their salad was just amazing. The staff was also very responsive. Definitely recommended.

Always a family favourite. Today the waiter overheard me saying I love mezze and brought some to the table free. He suggested prawns over calamari and he was right they were delicious. This place never disappoints looking forward to going back

We had a late evening dinner here, visiting from London. Warm welcome and service. Meal came with some complementary salad, dips and bread which was very welcome. Starters and mains were tasty and full of flavour. Decor and atmosphere very nice!

The resteraunt was quite good the food was flavourful and their service was quite good as they were quite atrocious and gave us extra man bread for free and the atmosphere was quite nice but the reasons it’s a 3 was because of its dodgy network

It's easy to find space due to its size, the variety of dishes is great and they are delicious and full of flavors, but the service at the start of the meal was very (too) fast since we followed the starters and the dishes without any wait but then for the deserts we had to wait almost 30 minutes before finally asking a waiter. The atmosphere is multi cultural and noisy but it is extremely clean.

Just wanted to point it out Everybody knows CARLOS as the boss but he is not the boss he is just a waiter MUZO is the boss an and he is the owner and the chef who works in the kitchen!!!!!

The food was excellent but the service wasn’t, before I’d finished my starter I was given my main course! When we had finished we waited about 20 minutes to get a dessert at which point my husband went and paid the bill and we left. It was never that busy when we first went there, it’ll be sometime before we go again.

Had dinner here recently with friends visiting from France. It had been a while since I was there, but I'm a huge fan - the people are lovely, the service is excellent & so is the food. I always have the 'small plates' option - & I always have borek, which is delicious, & this time I had falafel too, which was a revelation given my only experience with this dish has been from a supermarket. The falafel plate comprised three falafel made from chickpeas & broad beans atop the best hummus I have ever tasted - I would definitely have this dish again. Our friends were also delighted with their choices, & appreciated the very attentive (but not intrusive) customer service. Everyone here is just so nice & make everyone feel most welcome - I recommend this restaurant to people regularly & look forward to my next visit very much.

Easy location for parking. Nice atmosphere. Lovely establishment and decor. Amazing food. Carlos and his staff are friendly and attentive. Made my fussy teen eager to try something new. Super big plus on the menu with its wheat/gluten/vegan&veg options. It was a delight to have so many options. It means I'll have to go back to try the other dishes. Hubby was suitably impressed and is keen to return before the end of the holidays. Finally somewhere for the whole family. 5 stars.

Always made welcome. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable about dishes when asked. There is nothing a problem when waiters called for refreshments .

This restaurant is truly amazing . My husband comes to Aberdeen every year for with and always raves about this place ! You actually feel like you’re in turkey ! Staff so attentive and friendly . The portions don’t look big but believe me you will be full !! The meat is just so delicious that’s why we cane back twice ! Highly recommend.

Beats TGI Fridays into a cocked hat…. Fresh, full of flavour and ‘the’ most attentive service…. Not to mention the complementary bread, salad, hummus… and more bread … just the best Turkish Meal ever!

Our servers were very accomodating and helpful with our large groups allergies and even called a taxi for us. Not to mention the amazing food! The complimentary pide bread and salad was also delicious.

Spectacular and stylishly modern beach front restaurant. Great choice of food served, exceptionally tasty, excellent value for money and friendly staff. After a first visit to this restaurant to celebrate my mother’s 70th Birthday, (5 adults ordering a 2 course meal with each consuming 2 drinks each and then there’s the complimentary freshly baked bread / fresh salad and dips that come served prior to the starter - which is kinda like another course absolutely free!!!!!!! I was wowed by just how much of a hidden gem this restaurant really is. It’s one of those restaurants that you may pass by and think ‘Oh, I’ll have to try there. Well, after being there and experiencing the Turkish Kitchen, I can only describe this establishment as Very Highly Recommendable. I’ll most certainly be a returning customer.

Returned to the Turkish kitchen with family for a birthday celebration. Yet again it did not disappointed staff were welcoming ,friendly and service was very good. All the food was amazing again and they catered for Gluten free very well ,with the menu well marked. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this visit and we will definately be back.

Absolutely above and beyond! Complimentary starter was already promising a lot. Chargrilled octupus was soft and so delicious, sujuk sausages as well. Chicken casserole was tasty and tomato was just in right balance with the meat. Lamb chops were total dream! Yakut red wine was pouring smoothly down the throat and Efes beer was delicious. Ended with baklava and kunefe for the end were melting in your mouth. Turkish coffee for the end was just the right to end this beautiful experience (with few glasses of Yakut wine hahaha) Service was very kind and attentive - good luck to the young gentleman from Iran and kind lady who was serving us. Mister Karahan was real gentleman, very kind and taking close look on everything and everyone in the restaurant and always having time for kind words with the customers. We will be back!! PS: there were no time for pictures as our fingers were too sticky from heavenly good food 🙃🤣

This was our first visit and we will definitely be visiting again! Very good food at reasonable prices, incredibly friendly staff. I had the creamy salmon penne pasta and my mum had the creamy chicken penne which we both thoroughly enjoyed would definitely recommend these dishes!

I was here for the third time with family. We enjoyed a lovely dinner with our family, with Turkish specialties. Very friendly staff and owners. Owner takes personal care of his guests. Of course, as a Turkish-born guest in Aberdeen, it was special.

This place is amazing. The small complimentary appetizers (bread, two dips and fresh salad) were good. Grilled Salmon, Grilled Octopus and Sea Bass Fillet that we ordered today was tasty. Lamb Shish was our favorite dish! Also we enjoyed chocolate cake with Turkish coffee. It's extraordinarily tasty!The staff were incredibly attentive throughout. Thank you, Muzo's Turkish Kitchen! 👍😋

Had a family gathering, and we all were really delighted about this place, the staff were amazing food was perfect and portions also adequate, priced according expectations. Would go back there again soon.

Not one for leaving reviews but this one was well deserved. 10/10 food and service. Everything we ate was ridiculously good. The prawns were unreal and the most flavoursome lamb and chicken. Everything was so fresh and beautiful salads and Turkish breads/dips to start was a lovely touch!! Staff were so friendly, efficient and couldn’t do more for you. 100% will be back. Our new fave spot in Aberdeen. Wish we’d come sooner.

We had a couple of Turkish pides/pizzas. I've definitely had better. Bland - and for the price thought they really skimped on the menu showcased ingredients. Mostly cheese and rocket. Underwhelmed and not so keen to return.

The 2 course lunch menu is very good value. I’m almost stuffed after my starter and chef’s compliment salad and bread. The main I ordered is a lamb life. It is a bit salty. Other than that, everything is very good. Excellent service, nice fresh mint tea. Will come again but won’t order the same main course.

Very clean, vibrant place with fantastic staff, good food and drinks. Was here on 2 different nights and both times it was on point. Special mention goes to Hammad, Bilal & Cafer karahan

The food and drinks were amazing , lovely staff, great ambiance by the beach and Bilal was really helpful with all our orders and ensured we were okay, I would definitely come back here
