The best restaurants in Westhill and District Aberdeenshire North East Scotland

Very disappointing. Spotted this cafe when we drove through kirkton of skene. There was a couple outside with a dog. They were served and was hoping we would be next. Only for us to finish our coffee and our order had still not appeared. Only to find that our order had been delivered to another table, who had ordered the same meals as ours and started to eat it. It took ages to pay for our coffees only for the table that had our meal was then complaining that they had not received their drinks. I sat outside and was listening to another family who had ordered coffees takeaway. Only for the woman having placed them In cups to have outside. Too much of a fiasco going on. I will not be back.

We came here for a pizza on Wednesday evening and it was really good. The staff are sound and the food is always fresh & tasty. Would definitely recommend.

So slow to get the coffee, always only one person making them, which means the queue takes forever to move.

Was a discretion service charge added which I believe is voluntary . Never noticed until home this had been applied . Surely they should ask if you wish to pay the service charge. Had the fish finger wrap , not as advertised was no tartar sauce or gherkins. Our meal was only £23.70 but beware if there are a few of you as 12.5 percent service charge could be costly.

Fuimos a cenar en San Valentín. Elegimos el menú fijo. La comida era muy sabrosa. La carne estaba muy tierna. El desierto fue una gran ayuda, pero fue excelente. Vaso gratis de Preseco e incluso me dieron una rosa que fue un buen toque. Excelente relación calidad-precio. El personal fue muy amable. En general un buen momento

Went for dinner. It was very busy. The service was indifferent although the boy who took orders knew the dishes well. The vegetarian wontons just had stodgy mashed potatoes inside. The vegetable tempura had so much batter around!! which to me I think are not the way tempura should be made. They should have a very thin layer of batter!! The schezwan vegetables was ok but we’ve had better ones. The chicken with cashew was fine. I wish had some broccoli too in some of the vegetable and chicken dishes. Noodles were fine. The egg fried rice had very little egg in it! Overall a bit disappointed!

Stayed for 2 nights with 2 infants and my partner, great service from the minute we walked in to the minute we left, all the staff was lovely and polite, it’s not to far to travel to do things with the kids/places to eat our, breakfast was overall good and had a small corner with some blocks and colouring stuff so was great to sit near it when you have a child that doesn’t sit still, room was clean and everything was set up for when we got to room, requested a cot which wasn’t in room but when i phoned down to let them know it was brought up within 5 minutes from a lovely member of staff, can not fault anything or anyone at all and will be back! all the staff should give themselves a pat on the back! thanks for making our stay a breeze x

Have Dominos changed the cheese they use? I just had a delivery and the cheese wasn't good and seemed different. Also my last few orders the pizzas seem undercooked.

Newly Taken over and renamed the Waterton Restaurant, for an Ester Sunday Lunch we were the only Customers ((thankfully an other couple did come in, Service was good with the exception of we didn't get our starter as the young server forgot, she put down our mains then came back to the table and could not apologise enough, no real big deal as we then decided to have sweet after. The Mains, mine was a Steak pie with mash and veg, £16 + disappointed as what appeared on my plate was a shop bought individual steak pie (£2.50) instead of of a terrain of steak and puff pastry. My wife had a Confiet of duck leg with Thai Curry (different, I know), don't get me wrong the food was OK but along with two desserts was not worth the £49 we paid

Visited recently and was able to get a table for a large group at short notice. Staff were friendly, and the food was great - very large portions. Perfect place to go for some top notch pub grub.

La comida estaba bien y el servicio era atento. Pedimos un plato principal y un postre, ambos deliciosos y servidos con prontitud. El único problema fue que nos facturaron por una bebida que no pedimos. Dejamos que el personal lo arreglara por sí mismo. Por lo demás bien.

Saw a couple of reviews on here and wondered if they were talking about the right takeaway! Have used for many years and doubt if we’ve ever had a bad meal. I have no reservations in recommending Szechuan - just away to order now!
