I was shopping here for thd first time in a few years. I went to the bakery section to buy something nice. The assistant was rearranging the cakes, scones etc in the baskets with his hands, no gloves on and not using the tongs. Afraid to say I changed my mind and didn't purchase any bakery goods after seeing that.
Two supposedly standard sized haddock and one portion chips tonight…a treat from my brother….£18.10 ..fish were really small ( half the size of Ashvales ) and chips barely lukewarm …three min journey from shop …very disappointing. Glad he didn’t order pensioners portions…we’d have got a fish finger each! He said service was good though. Won’t be back in a hurry
Evite... fue absolutamente repugnante. Pedí pizza de pollo y tengo 99 años. 9% seguro que era pavo en mi pizza. Las patatas fritas eran absolutamente viles parecía que se han cocinado 10 veces lleno de grasa y no de patata. Tomó un chip y nunca más comió.
El personal era amable. Fue colina abajo. No volverá.

I must admit I found myself overwhelmed by the quality of the service coming from the floor staff tonight.
I was warmly welcomed and guided to my table by the lovely Julia 🤗 My drink 🍸 was expertly crafted and delivered by the delightful Monika. Upon ordered, my side 🍟was swiftly brought from the kitchen by the incredible Marcelina.
Their hospitality was on point and I will definitely return to this refined establishment for dinner very soon. Credits to the chef(s) on shift for the quality of the food aswell. 😋🍽️

After nearly 20 years as a customer, originally as Mike's chip shop, more recently as Dawns, I have never had a single complaint. However, tonight's 28/04/2025, offering has left me with no option but to question what constitutes a "Jumbo" Haddock. Jumbo price maybe, but the half " Fish finger" padded out with chips I was delivered under the guise of a jumbo Haddock supper has left me sorely disappointed with this establishment. I am generally not someone to complain, but this has seriously disappointed me. As an establishment, you have just lost an extremely regular customer. Sadly, I fear we both lose in this respect. Feel free to contact me to attempt to justify your astonishingly poor offering tonight. I wait with (un)baited breath.
