Rainbow Cafe & Food in Aberdeen City

Quite possibly the worst food I’ve ordered through Just Eat and I’ve ordered from The Langstane Fish & Chips not once but twice.

Shocking customer service Took 2 hours to deliver food and when calling restaurant over 10 times no answer. Food was freezing and most definitely microwaved as all food was soggy. Delivered wrong desert. When did finally answer told me to request refund on just eat

Nachos were shockingly bad like rubber not very nice. (Listened to my request so thank you) the kebab came without a pita bread as stated that it would that was a shame but was nice. Garlic bread was chewy and not very nice tasted of nothing. And pasta was cold and horrible and chicken was chewy so put my right off it. Dont know if i would order again

Pizza was not good, base under cooked and toppings fell off. Worst white pudding we have ever had.

Order an hour before you want it. And the salad is a joke it's the same saled you buy in the shop nothing fresh about it. And putting cold salad in the same bag as your hot food that is a no no no

Pizzas are delicious and the restaurant were very helpful with our order when just eat messed up delivery.

It was a pleasant experience overall. The food was cooked fresh for us - mushroom soup and seafood risotto - so it took some time to be ready, but it was worth the wait. Excellent service, very friendly atmosphere.

The chicken within the pasta dish was inedible and very chewy.

Order very late. Had to email. May have been problem with just eat rather than restaurant. Delivery driver very apologetic. Food always decent. Unfortunately the wait was a bit of a disaster

We have always enjoyed our meals at Rainbows. Freshly prepared and tasty. Extremely affordable too.

Food was very poor. Meat for kebab seemed Store bought. The garlic mayo was really awful. Salad wasn't fresh. Nachos were OK at best. Not much cheese, all pretty cold.

Great food again. Been working through the menu and so far everything has been really fine.

The pizza was perfect but the chicken pakora was burnt black... But to be fair I ordered close to closing time and they still took my order. Would try again though because I enjoyed the pizza and it was reasonably priced.

Very pleasant evening at Rainbow Café. A few tables to sit in. It was quiet enough for a café, but they're open until late and the atmosphere was very friendly. The service was very good: we were advised to also check the online menu where there is more choice. I had the halloumi salad, which was particularly tasty, although with too much raw onion. I would recommend this place for a quick dinner or a night out with friends.

Haloumi wrap was Ok, not something I’ve ordered before so don’t want to mark it down too much but wasn’t my cup of tea. Burger and fries where lovely. The pizza was unreal though! Me and the mrs did in whole really enjoy it, delivery was quick also. Food was nice and hot too.

Arrived 30 minutes late, everything was cold, there were about 13 chips in the portion, the pizza was rubbery and the cheesecake was about the size of a postage stamp. Never ever again.

The food was top notch. Looking forward to ordering again.

Food was great, didn't get the free pepsi max offered with 12" pizza though. Tried to call and left a message as well right after I ordered just to make sure it was included. No answer or callback I understand it was probably a busy night, still a bit disappointed though

Great value for money. Meal deal with pizza, chips, dip & juice. Also free delivery... Food tasted great and arrived before scheduled. Definitely recommend

Another lovely meal, I had pasta while my son had fish and chips. Both meals tasted great.

This is not the first time ordering from them, but it never dissaponts. Food is very tasty, big portions and piping hot. Well worth the money. Will be using them again.

SENSATIONAL food! Man this guy can cook- I had a main and a pudding both were amazingly tasty, very reasonably priced and arrived earlier than expected which was excellent too.

Absolutely delicious. The cheese on the pizza and calzone (and parmesan on the calzone!) was very flavourful and pungent, in a good way. Had delivery time problems but that was entirely Just-Eats fault, not the restaurants.

Food was perfect! Thanks to both the lovely manager & lovely delivery chap for helping me with the mistake I made on the original order! I have e-mailed Just Eat & explained the problem.

Food was ok although not all ordered appeared. Unfortunately not the first time this has happened They kept changing delivery time and very late. We had some very frustrated children. Very disappointed ☹️

First but not last time to order. Food well worth the price. It was filling and very nice.

Avoid this place! Spent £40 on an order tonight and it's near enough all went in the bin. I don't understand how you can mess up chips, cheese and gravy but even that was vile! Photos attached are meant to be a large Donner kebab, I can literally count the pieces of Donner on one hand and the pitta bread was stale. £5 on a portion of nachos that are just poorly made with stale tortillas, yet again how can you mess up nachos?! Will never be back. Save your money!!!! Absolute waste of my money..

Massive menu but so calm and friendly staff. The food was AMAZING and along with the value for money - you definitely have to give this a try

I’ve ordered food numerous times from here and it is always really good. Only one bad experience caused by the delivery driver handing over a pizza that had been on its side and was just a blob in the corner of the box. Other than that fantastic.

Penne contadino with white sauce was amazing. Still hot when arrived, would definitely recommend this and will order it again.

Forzen Kebab Meat And still cold , Salad was a joke , Scampi meat like minced , Chips cheese and coleslaw too much coleslaw not enough cheese I never make a bad review but it was shocking . Never ordering again . And I will ask just eat for refund .

A bit disappointing. The pasta was dry, no sauce but instead a mass of melted cheese. No béchamel or tomato sauce to talk of. Pate was nice but would’ve preferred it not spread on the bread as it all went soggy.

Delivery driver was obviously having a stressful shift. No need to take it out on a customer though.

This was genuinely the best lasagne I've ever had, so cheesy and insanely tasty. The owner/chef was also really friendly and chatty when I collected my order. I will definitely be going back.

The lasagna was good, but the pizza arrived cold.

Ceasar salad normally has bits of chicken in it. Egg ham salad was salad out of a bag with 2 slides of ham and just 1 egg. Currently talking to just eat for my money back

Kebab meat was that microwaved stuff you can buy at Iceland. Pitta bread was stiff and they hadn't even bothered to open it. Penne contadino was flavourless. A total joke.

Haddock tasted odd, the scampi wasn’t proper scampi. Nothing good about it .Definitely won’t be ordering again. Very disappointed

Chicken pakora were burned, curry sauce was really not tasty. Kebab also not good enough. Pizza is nice but thats all i can say about this place. Maybe will come back for pizza.

It was ordered 2x chickwn wings with BBQ sauce. And one of them was with spicy sauce.

gammon steak like shoe leather and was inedible. ended up inside dogs. I had ordered veg soup but got mushroom soup. if I wanted mushroom I would have ordered that but I didn't.

Lovely tasty spaghetti bol and a good portion, freshly made and hot.

We are impressed by the variety of food on offer, a little something for most people. Our order was a little larger than average because we were testing the quality of a range of goods, We got 2 burgers a fish and chips but separately and a donner kebab with chips. The burgers were great, the kebab was very nice and the chips were stunning but the fish was a mixed lot with the batter being amazing but the fish being barely above average. I appreciate the variance in a busy restaurants product and would highly recommend trying them and trying a few different things.

Didnt feel like i got much out of the spaghetti bolognese for 13.50 including delivery. I felt underfed after eating

My own fault for ordering 20 minutes before closing but it was only chips and cheese and cake. The chocolate of the cake was no longer on the cake because it was in the same bag as the chips...cheesecake also melted and like soup, didn't realise that was a thing but here we are.

Delivery was late, they called to let us know however was even later than the time stated when they called, pasta was beautiful, really enjoyed that and the chicken salad although my mum didn’t like the fish and chips at all.

Food was delicious, but the only negativity and disappointment is that staff doesn’t follow customer requests, as we left the note for restaurant no onions on kebabs , but both kebabs was with onions on top, otherwise everything was good and delicious.
