I recently tried as I was going to one next door regularly and that will Be my mew one !

Fantastic place for trying it first time, lovely selection of meat and complimentary fries and salad bar. Was serviced by Wilson who was very friendly and knowledgable about the different selection of meats - would definitely come back!

There are many take aways and kebab shops in Aberdeen but do yourself a big favour and go to the best. Easy to order, Super speedy delivery with the best quality. 11/10.

Honestly one of the best Turkish kebab places in Aberdeen, it’s a shame they aren’t always open or available for delivery on deliveroo because it forces us to try another kebab place that is never as good as Istanbul. We are vegetarians and we love their veggie burger and falafel wrap, everything is so crispy and hot and not mushy like some vegetarian options in other kebab places… delivery is always so quick and everything comes piping hot. Sometimes go there after a night out and the staff are always so friendly. 10/10 5* kebab shop.

It is very hard to find good kebab in the UK and places like this are diamonds to find. I have ordered only once and not sure if it possible but if you could ordered crispy bun with the kebab it would've been perfect. Other than that meat was very good, sauce was amazing and even salad was juicy and fresh. My to-go-kebab from now on in Aberdeen.

Didn't know Paco and Vito had moved here. So glad I found them when I was forced to get cash to go to their old place. Card payments no problem and their kebabs are fantastic. Paco & Vito are the best and their staff in the shop are great too.

Lovely food however very disappointed with the delivery service! Orders are always delayed waiting way over and hour to call for an update to be told the driver hasn't even left with the food yet. Sat with a hungry family now, shocking delivery service.

That Is one off the best kebabs I have had in a long time. I ordered a mixed kebab and a doner wrap .really enjoyed it .cooked perfectly really nice flavours the sauce was nice not to spicy and not to week and the presentation was top notch worth every penny . I will definitely order from them again

Istanbul is my favourite kebab shop in Aberdeen! People in this shop are always nice and friendly. When you go there ask for Chips with Cheese and Sausage, u will definitely like it. Ask them to put the chips then sausages then cheese and put ketchup and mayo on top, trust me u will love it! It is not on their menu but they will make it for u if you ask for it. Enjoy!

The best restaurant in Aberdeen

Always amazing food!!!! Only problem is that I cannot order on their own website. When I put my address in it comes up with similar locations, then when I press ‘ALLOW’ for them to see my location it states the wrong postcode. Their website won’t let me change the postcode either. Thus, I have to order from Just Eat.

I had a vegetable kebab and Spicy chips from here. It was excellent.

Really gone downhill. I had been having kebabs from here about once per month for over 10 years when it was called Pitta's and before that under a different owner as Meze House. Sadly they have really went down hill recently. The staff have been messing up orders recently and have become rude and really aggressive. Won't be back... How to drop from 5 stars to 1 star.

Having eaten in Istanbul and other middle eastern countries, I can say I’ve never had any food like this. It wasn’t good. They didn’t know the word “shawarma” even! Smh. We ordered a chicken wrap and it was basically a salad with a few pieces of chicken inside. Loads of cabbage, some carrots, and CUCUMBER lol!!! The doner was so thin and dry. Even in the USA the middle eastern food is better... and it’s not good there! The chili sauce and garlic sauce weren’t right. How do you get that wrong?? The garlic sauce was mostly mayonnaise as far as we could tell. Didn’t even taste any garlic. Sad. So sad. Also- the guy taking orders seemed impatient and unfriendly. Really the worst attempt at middle Eastern food that we’ve had in Aberdeen and this is the fourth restaurant we’ve tried.

The mixed meat kebab is excellent value at £8.50. The service was excellent and quick , even though it was not just an off the spit Donna. I was sobber and it was at a quiet time.

Always a great place to go for late night cravings for kebabs, wraps and finger foods! Great and quick service. The place is warm and comfortable. Highly recommend the shashlik kebab, shish kebab and hoggie wrap.

Very rude staff who blatantly ignored us whilst waiting to be served. When questioned, we were refused for no obvious reason. It’s quite apparent what’s going on there – reviews suggest it all. Unfortunately I’m unable to comment on the quality of food in this establishment as we didn’t get the opportunity to get any :-(

Very rude staff who left us with no choice but to leave! Would not recommend it to anyone. Went with a group of family members and after seeing the respectable name “Istanbul” decided to eat there. However upon going inside we all felt very unwelcomed and then was approached by a member of staff arrogantly. The kids felt threatened and it left us with no choice but to leave and ruined our great trip to Aberdeen. **AVOID AVOID AVOID**

Had really disappointing experience at this place. Staff ruined the mood of our whole group. Folks don't ruin your time out! Avoid !!!

Visited this place today. I would give it zero stars if I could. The staff was very rude and we felt they were reluctant to serve us. Despite being empty and being happy for the custom they were very unwelcoming. One of the staff members was so arrogant and rude after we had sat down to eat that we had to leave without eating. If thats how they treat customers, i wonder about the quality of the food too! If you dont want customers, close your shop! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

The restaurant was closed at 6:30 pm on Tuesday while it was supposed to be open. The door was actually open and the person inside was very unwelcoming by singling us to go as it's closed.
