Lovely little cafe great décor, nice team looking after you, the food on offer is what you'd expect from a café, It's priced accordingly for the area it's in so it's a little expensive, on street parking is available but you need to pay and I imagine can be difficult to find at peak times.

Food was delicious. The new guy was super friendly. Will visit again!

One of my favourite local cafes. Warm, friendly and welcoming, and dog-friendly to boot. Excellent service, great coffee and delicious home-bakes, the team there really do go the extra mile. Aberdeen needs more places like this. Highly recoommended.

Lovely service today. I had just came in for an iced coffee, it was fairly busy but I didn’t mind waiting as it’s nice to see local cafes full, but the waitress Lucy made sure I was seated straight away. Overall it was a welcoming experience 😊

This is my local go to coffee shop. The staff are super friendly who provide great service and great coffee. Highly recommend you try it.

I don’t know with what to start first i just entered and asked if there was any table free to sit down the small girl with blonde hair called Lucy by her work colleague just looked at me and passed way like without saying nothing i have to wait or what just left and went outside what a shame if you don’t want to work just stay at your home. I will never be back at this place so rude

Such a welcoming atmosphere from all staff. The food is always really tasty and I think they have the best coffee in town. Definitely worth a visit.

Went to ho for lunch to many tables for staff working. Tables sat down after us served people wanting second drinks served before us. Have been on numerous occasions will not beback though unfortunately you probably won't care as long as people comethrough your doors and you make money. Need more staff

I used to really like this place, so I was disappointed to see they don't have any vegan breakfast options now. The blender was broken so they couldn't even make a smoothie, so the waiter suggested we get one of their vegan lunch items. But when it arrived, they had covered the salad in non-vegan sauce. A lot of the gluten free options had also been marked off on the menu, so definitely not a place with many flexible options. We were also very disappointed that they put us in a small, loud room without windows. From visiting this place before, I remembered it being bright and welcoming, but on this visit I found it super depressing and I regret that we went there. :-(

I started from the positive only thing is good in cafe a coffee I really sad to say that i’ve been really bad a humiliating experience in corner tree cafe i suggested if you have coloured skin don’t go there They give uss a table which one full of mess they just pick up cup and dishes and they didn’t bother clean a table unless we tell them to clean seriously i’ll never be go back again even they change name seriously ridiculously behaviour .

Vamos cada año por el té festivo de la tarde... No sentí el ambiente este año me temo 😔! ! . . ¡No parecía haber decoraciones, etc.! Sólo le faltaba algo. Los sándwiches eran mediocres. Rollo de salchicha. . ¡Los cerdos en mantas y galletas eran increíbles! . . ¡Nos ofrecieron té al principio y dijimos que esperaríamos y nunca más nos preguntaron! Los menús eran fotocopias. . Solo le faltó algo este año. Volveremos el año que viene, pero espero que recuperen el ambiente. El personal era encantador como siempre

Having been twice before with a wide age range seemed the perfect place for Christmas afternoon. On entering it was very clear that it was either a) over booked or b) understaffed A 1pm booking for 5 under Nicola appeared to cause panic. No mulled apple drink served until 1 25, no wine glasses provided, then on asking we were told they had run out of wine glasses and we we given unsuitable glasses order to ages to place, and although we were offered to place a hot drink, first one arrived at 2 15( 1 15 hours after the booking), food arrived at 2 20, having had no lunch we were all really hungry. In total, after searching for staff some of us managed to get two of the ' unlimited ' hot drinks. Food not as good as usual, very disappointed, cone on cornertree house cafe you ca do better than this- don't over booking or under staff

Very nice place and the service was great. I had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup it was nice but the pancakes were a bit thick and not what I would have expected for this meal. Would recommend the place to meet up with friends and the range of sweet items is very good.

Le pedí al barista que se asegurara de que había escuchado correctamente y me aseguraron que era el precio correcto. Me quedé tan sorprendido que solo pagué el dinero y me fui, aunque me di cuenta cuando estaba a mitad de camino a casa que debería haberme negado a pagar esa cantidad y haber comprado un café con leche ordinario a £ 3. 50 o simplemente abandonó la idea por completo. Me interesaría mucho saber de los propietarios de este café cómo pueden justificar este precio en un pequeño café local en una calle lateral de Aberdeen y si ha habido alguien más lo suficientemente tonto como para haber pagado ese precio! Fantastic food, team and atmosphere!

Dropped by needing to use a toilet as I realised I had enough time to have a quick coffee. Only after I was being served it did I remember I couldn't have a hot drink for my appointment. Apologised to my server for my mistake and went to pay for the coffee. Server would not take my offerred payment. Great service.

Tasty cakes and sandwiches. The service was also good. Can’t wait to return to try the other things on the menu. The only thing I would say is that clotted cream would be better with scones in my opinion.

Had a lovely afternoon tea at Corner Tree on Saturday in the wee private room. Food was delicious and BYOB is always a plus! Staff were lovely and a great atmosphere too with lots of celebrations happening at the same time. Never been let down at Corner Tree!

the staff were very nice and the food was good. I especially liked the hot chocolate with the oreo. I will be back soon. Great place if you are by yourself and looking for a pleasant atmosphere. I stayed a while and did not feel rushed at all.

Standard pricing for an Aberdeen cafe, 1 girl on tables and 1 on drinks is not enough for how busy it is on a Monday afternoon. Took ages for our order to be taken. Drinking glasses were filthy and paninis were dry. The "salad" that comes with sandwiches is some leaves with peppers and sauce, disappointing.

Afternoon Tea with friends. So disappointing. Sandwiches were nicely made but it ends there. We all had to return our scones as they were so full of bicarb of soda, it left a poisonous soapy taste in our mouths and when we asked for fresh scones, told no so they gave us a plate of tiny pancakes between 7 of us!!! Considering the scone is the highlight of an afternoon tea we will never return. The other cakes were synthetic, not freshly made on site. Very disappointing and certainly not worth £22.50 for a sandwich and a few shop bought cakes. Sorry we chose to go there. It used to be nice for afternoon tea. The girls serving us were pleasant. Shame the chef can't make a scone.

I enjoy using this coffee for its convenience, close to my daily walk. I don't like having my coffee while dogs are around, being allergic. For other people might be good to have their pets while enjoying a drink but it can turn to a unpleasant noise when more that one dog in the place, which is not huge. Apart from that, it is a pleasant space.🙏😊

I used to come here fairly often when working in the city but haven’t been for over a year and was very disappointed with this visit. Seated next to a filthy radiator (yes, some rust but the majority looked like coffee/food debris which had clearly been there some time) and served tea in a chipped teapot, it wasn’t the best start then unfortunately the toasted chicken bacon and mayo wrap we were served lacked flavour and were very bland. Based on this experience, had it been my first, I’d not return but am meting friends next month here for lunch so hopefully it’ll be as before!

I used to really enjoy this cafe, I was slightly let down with the prices and quality of food. I’m aware of the current inflation however £11.50 for 1 waffle that had the texture of a washing sponge seems ridiculous. Service was alright, but overall some improvements could be made.

Found 3 (!) black hairs in my food. When I asked to change I was told they don't give replacements. I explained I couldn't eat what they had given me, so they replaced it, then CHARGED me for both. Sketchy, unpleasant and unclean, I would suggest avoiding this place.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience when we gone to the Corner Tree Café Shop to have a café and cake and a plate or two yesterday at around lunchtime. Although, there were plenty of spaces and tables available within the reception area , the customer service lady asked us to go inside and sit at a corner table. We kindly asked if we could sit on one of those tables within the reception area so that we would see the outside while having our café. Shockingly, the customer service lady with a very bad & negative attitude initially said NO!!, and after I politely asked again (as there were other couples sitting within the same reception area), with an undermining tune , she said "OK" and to our shock, she turned to her co-worker and loudly started complaining and negging about us in front of other customers! Apparently, she found it hard to serve us on a table within the reception area. The situation was so humiliating and embarrassing for us, that we decided to leave the shop! and probably, we would never return to that shop ever again! As a café-goers, we have visited most of the capitals in Europe, and as we love café and café-shops, when we go to a city, we try to visit all café shops at every corner of the town. We have never experienced any similar customer experience! and we certainly do not appreciate that. I am not sure what was the underlying reason for the customer service lady to treat a customer like that! may be, she was not happy about the job she was doing! but I can be certain about one thing! The business lost a returning customer and the word of mouth about our bad experience of the customer service of that shop will convey!

Staff were not very helpful. Came in for a hot drink which was freezing when it arrived. Then never came back over to ask how it was or even if we wanted anything else. Girlfriend returned her hot chocolate and got a lot of attitude from the member of staff. Then was told it would only be heated in the microwave. Which I thought was bang out of order should have just given a new one. The food was ok at best.

So disappointed today… this is a great cafe with tasty food.. the soup is delicious and bread fresh .. not a lot to more to say about the food, it’s great! Turned away today after being given a table by an approachable, friendly lass behind the counter… what got our goat was the tall dark haired lady.. presumably the manager .. turned her back to us and said to the lass clearing our table .. no available tables.. fair enough, but it was the managers approach .. no eye contact or sorry guys come back in half an hour! Unnecessarily rude and lacking in social and customer oriented skills…cafe will have waves of busy but it’s regular local customers like ourselves that matter long term … 🤗

Brilliant food, fantastic atmosphere and such friendly staff! They were so accommodating and even gave us a cut up sausage for our furry companion. Thank you so much for a lovely visit, it was the perfect way to spend our afternoon off. Will definitely be back!

Pop in past for a coffee and cake, coffee and cake was fine but the tables and the floor was dirty, the is the second visit in the past 10 days and again it could have been cleaner. If they don’t give a little bit more attention to keeping the cafe cleaner, people will move elsewhere which would be a pity as it is located in a nice part of the city

I stopped here to buy 2 fruit scones to eat at home . Was horrified at the price £5.90 for 2 scones then when I got home my friend and I had them and they were awful! Didn't taste fresh and they did not have a good taste. We think they were made yesterday as they were not fresh . So be warned everyone ,do not have a scone there!!

Had a lovely lunch here today. We hadn't booked and although they were busy the staff made us feel really welcome. The cafe had a lovely atmosphere and the food was lovely too. Thank you we will definitely be back.

Holy black pudding!!! What a fantastic place!!! My wife and I were blown away by the quality of the food (and service!!!). Everyone was so nice and helpful with suggestions for local sites!!! Absolutely delicious and highly recommended!!!

We went on a search for a Scottish bakery for lunch and found ourselves at the Corner Tree Cafe. The cafe is in a mostly residential area, and has both indoor and outdoor seating. As it was a nice day, we sat outside. We had the hummus and roasted veg panini with the soup of the day (tomato lentil) and a chorizo & falafel Caesar salad. The soup was blended, with a good flavor, and was warm, hearty and delicious. The panini included hummus, carrots, colored peppers, and zucchini. It wasn’t particularly toasted, but it was a lovely sandwich. The salad was a bit short on lettuce but otherwise tasty, with the flavors going well together. You don’t normally see thin slices of chorizo like deli meat, but it worked on this salad. We also had a perfectly made cappuccino, including a beautiful feathered design and an empire cookie with sprinkles and icing. Both were lovely, but the cappuccino was the star. This is a nice spot for a lunch or some baked goods, especially if you want to sit outside on a nice day.

Disappointing. Took my family here as we have had nice cakes/lunches here before but was not up to standard. Cake was stale, slices were average at best and ive never tasted such an awful scone before, if you are not going to make scones without the normal ingredients they need to be labelled with the info, i didnt know you could get a scone to taste so bad! Staff friendly and shop nice and clean, coffees decent but really need to up their game with the food.

Was really looking forward to Afternoon Tea which my husband booked prior to visiting. Appeared obvious that our booking took them by surprise. Tea was served then 25 mins later the food. On a positive this was delish, unfortunately staff appeared to forget about us sitting outside. Although girls very pleasant, a bit of training on checking customers needs might be worth it. Should not have to go in and request more tea. The clue is in the name "Afternoon tea". Also outdoor seats uncomfortable when sitting for over an hour. Cushions ??

A stunning wee cafe I came across in Aberdeen - well worth walking out from the City Centre to visit! Very friendly service, great menu & absolutely superb food (anywhere that combines French Toast, bacon & maple syrup gets my vote.....). Will definitely make an effort to visit again - there's more things on the menu I can't wait to try out!

I really fancied a smoothy and was instantly recommended this place without any hesitation. The smoothies are so amazing and the Panini was so tasty and really filled a hole. However, I will say the price is alittle steep for what you get in regards to the Panini's. Ignoring that though, the smoothies are so worth every penny. The staff were really lovely and I cannot wait to go back for another Smoothie, I just wish they did a larger size. I even pay for it ...

I asked for a ham salad sandwich to go. Initially I was told they didn’t do salad. I asked could I not get some lettuce and tomato - which I did. The tomatoes were cherry tomatoes and the whoever made the sandwich up left them whole. Which doesn’t make things easy within 2 slices of bread. Even my kids at home would have halved them. Not impressed.

Great food and service - both of us had a lovely fresh salad and coffee - we also got to enjoy with our well behaved wee dog at the front and gave him some water too! Thx

Met a friend there and had afternoon tea. This is a lovely cafe very cosy and bright and airy. My one criticism is that the sandwiches need to have the crusts removed and offered more than one choice each. The savoury sausage roll was meaty and very tasty, the brownies are to die for, good selection of cakes. Was lovely afternoon

It’s been a while since I’ve been to this wee cafe! It used to be one of my favourites, but sadly last weekend my experience was less pleasant. The place seemed to lack any sort of ventilation or air extraction from the food cooking and I left there with my clothes smelling of fumes 😏. I ordered the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup, which ultimately was delicious, however, last time I was in they were able to accommodate my bizarre request to add bananas to the dish, but disappointingly this time they couldn’t. The service was great as always…but the smelly fumes put me off considering to return anytime soon 😟

Such a lovely cafe. So many gluten free options that I kept double checking with the the waiter. I had delicious fluffy pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup - they were an absolute dream. And the coffee was tasty too. I'll be coming back as often as I can!

I have had multiple delicious breakfasts here over the years. My favourite is the salmon and scrambled eggs. I have never had a bad meal here! It has a lovely interior and the staff are great. Delicious home bakes to scoff too!!

Had a lovely breakfast with the family. Staff were quite welcoming and friendly. Our order arrived with perfect timing with drinks and felt looked after very well. From the menu, we ordered waffle breakfast it's simply wholesome and a delight for eyes and tongue with special mention to the best black pudding I had in a while in Aberdeen. Oreo shake and hot drinks were good too. Overall we going to keep this place for us a regular and Highly recommend it. Toilets were well maintained, neat and tidy 😃👏👏

Not great. This cafe used to be so good, but it has went downhill unfortunately. Twice recently I've been in for a takeaway and the food has been very poor. Just absolutely no care put into it whatsoever. Ordered a chicken and bacon caesar panini. Just pieces of bacon fat and some small shreds of chicken, no caesar sauce at all. It was plain and dry and boring. If I was the chef putting that food out, I would be embarrassed. I have attached a photo for reference. The only reason I've given a 2 star and not 1 is because the coffee is ok and they sometimes (only sometimes) have good cake.

Amazing lunch at the corner tree cafe. I had the gluten free waffles with bacon, egg and cheese and my husband had the falafel salad. Tasted amazing and great service. Definitely be going back. They also have gluten free pancakes and a selection of cakes.

Really disappointed with my first visit here. I came for a mid-week lunch with my friend and we both ordered waffles from the lunch menu. Both of our salad leaves were brown and the lemon slice for my smoked salmon was hard and old. Sadly I won't be returning.
