Visitó la sucursal de Aberdeen BOD por primera vez hoy. Muy buen joven educado en till. Ordenado, y no tuvo mucho tiempo para esperar. ¡Tenía filetes de pollo panko, solo un placer! Nieto tenía pescado y le encantó! Precioso cocinado y agradable y caliente. ¡Volveremos!

Amazing fish and chips. So light and non greasy. Would highly recommend. Really good prices too.

Tenía la hamburguesa smash, que era muy agradable, pero la porción de patatas fritas que pedí con salsa de curry tenía unas 20 patatas fritas y la salsa de curry más salada que he probado que estaba en lata

Leemos sobre esta tienda mientras buscas opciones sin gluten en Aberdeen. Aunque estaba un poco fuera de nuestro camino, valió la pena el viaje. La tienda tiene una zona separada para preparar comida sin gluten y una freidora dedicada. Terminamos comprando opciones de pollo y pescado para compartir. La comida salió caliente y deliciosa. Nos gustó tanto que bromeamos sobre volver mañana. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita si necesita evitar el gluten,

Was up in Aberdeen and went to the best chip shop in the north east.went in and ordered my food good service waiting time 5 Mins . great chips and fish brilliant battered

Hunted this down as the best chippie in Aberdeen. Ordered online and they got it ready for me to collect right on time. Cleanly packaged in firm cardboard boxes (pizza-style). While waiting, I noted that everything was fried fresh upon order. Batter for everything was crispy, but we preferred the panko (breadcrumbs). Haddock was nice and thick, and the portion (3 pieces) of sole was good too. Onion rings were the best I've had at any chippie. The level of post-meal greasiness for the battered haddock was lower than other chippies with equivalently crispy batter. About half an hour later, the onion ring batter stayed crispy. Would order the onion rings and panko sole again, and consider trying the panko haddock.

As a pensioner thought we will treat ourselves fish and chips and red pudding got fish and chips and a smoked sausage ,wife not happy did phone no help

Used to always be 10/10, large fishes were always ‘large’ crispy and plentiful of chips. Meals always roasting hot. My wife always enjoys the katsu chicken, which is tasty. I was very disappointed tonight. As I was solo eating I decided to get a chippy from SS+S. I decided to go for the katsu chicken, as been hearing recently the fish hasn’t been great (rubbish bits of fish but still at the heavier price point). When I got the katsu I opened it before leaving the shop, only to find next to no sauce. Had to ask for more prior to leaving. Credit to the staff as they put on more which was more like it used to be. Got home, and had to reheat both the katsu and the chips as both were not even luke warm, I only stay along the road from the place. The only good thing, and thankfully, was the taste, it was still good. Whilst I was in, I also seen some of the fish that was being dished out and it looked far from the standards of the shop in the past. Glad I didn’t go for it as I normally would. Very sad to see, and hear, that the standards of this place are slipping. Never great when you see the prices rising and the quality slipping. Sea Salt + Sole, please sort this out and get the standards and quality back to how it used to be.

¿Qué le ha pasado a este lugar? Solía delirar al respecto. Las últimas dos visitas muy decepcionado. Tamaños de porción muy pequeños. No hay diferencia entre peces estándar y gigantes. Chips insípidos y mal cocinados. No vale 22 libras por 2 cenas de pescado estándar... irán a otro lado en el futuro por mi chipper.

Really good, been a few times & the food is fresh, hot & enjoyed it each time. Staff seem really friendly too. Worth a try & I'd certainly go again.

We used to love this place, but it has gone downhill recently, especially the service. About 3 weeks ago we ordered 2 fish and chips, got home and one of the boxes had no chips, just the fish. We went back, but the server just said I didn't charge you for the chips and no apology and not heating up of the other food items, so when we did eventually get back home, we had 2 not very hot fish suppers.

Daughter phoned in order they got it well wrong white pud instead of red pud no chips with chicken fillet supper was still OK but let down a bit

Been coming here for years and you used to get a decent amount of food for your money. It’s all different now though, the portion sizes are terrible. I’ve never had a fish supper before and still felt hungry afterwards until today. My dinner consisted of a piece of haddock barely bigger than a fish finger and a handful of chips. I don’t know why their rationing chips, potatoes aren’t exactly expensive. Very disappointed to say the least.

About 13quid for a fish supper, but you don't get tomato sauce, that's extra...Next we'll need to pay for salt and vinegar, just add 20p to the price to save the hassle when collecting having to go back to the till, we want sauce squirted over the chips ffs World has gone nuts, sauce with a fish supper should be standard ffs

Wow, one of the best fish suppers ever. Lovely crispy batter on the plump piece of haddock. Absolutely no grease on the chips. First class! I wish I’d tied the panko, next time.

Some of the best food you can find in Aberdeen. Top quality food and great selection. Unfortunately service from staff was very poor and made everyone feel very uncomfortable. A real shame.

Easy to order on SS+S website, collection very straight forward, fish and chips excellent, super light and crispy batter on the fish and chicken tenders, decent chips. Pickled onions were minuscule, but I can live with that :- 5*.

There’s no point in ordering online just to wait in the shop another 40 min to collect an order you’ve placed 40 min before getting there

Absolutely belting fish supper from SS&S tonight... and so much food!! Even the oap fish supper was too much for me. Best chipper in Aberdeen by a country mile.

Me and The Wife i’ve been here twice now for a takeaway. Both have been to be honest The best down here and we have been to a few takeaways. This is our go to takeaway for fish and chips from now on. Parking can be a bit little bit of a nightmare because it’s right next to the railway station but apart from that all good not too long to wait time either. You can order ahead if you’d like on the website

Probably the best chippy I've ever been to! Good quality fish, well cooked, nice sized pieces of fish - lovely! My only gripe is they aren't open on Monday's which is the day I am most often in Dyce & wanting an evening meal! Apart from that, perfect! 😋

Got two breaded fish and it was very disappointing. Breading was twice as thick as fish. Fish thickness was close to sliced ham.. shame as we had fish from there before and it was nice thick and flaky. Won't buy from there again for sure.

This is the only chipper we tend to eat as it is the only one that doesn’t give us an upset stomach afterwards and I am assuming this is because it is not as greasy as other chippers! Would highly recommend the Katsu chicken fillets, if anyone can’t decide!!

Overpriced and under sized. Two fish suppers up by £4.50 since March and fish size much smaller.

First time I have used this Chipper at the Bridge of Don, but have to say I was disappointed. The chips were great but the fish was disappointing, the batter was very oily and soaked into the fish which was soggy and you could see the oil lying on the box under the fish.

The Dyce outlet is takeaway only. Telephone order was ready on time & tasted fantastic. Generous chip portions.

Especially loved my Gluten Free Menu and Fish & Chips with Mushy Peas.

Visiting family in Aberdeen we visited the Cove branch for takeaway. Best fish and chips I've had in Scotland for a few years. Everything was spot on. Mushy peas were excellent, fish was very tasty. Fully recommend - great service.

We were all in the mood for a fish supper and read the reviews online of various establishments and this one stood out. Spotlessly clean with parking right outside. Friendly, well presented staff. Our fish was made to order. Massive portion and the fish was cooked to perfection, crisp, light batter, not greasy. The fish was very tasty as were the chips. Thoroughly enjoyable and I have no hesitation in recommending them

My first visit but it won't be my last, everything we ordered was spot on , fantastic quality and the fish was very fresh. I would definitely recommend a visit!

We placed order online, and to be fair all very reasonable good fish bit stingy with the chips. Arrived to pick up and 1 had ordered katsu chicken fillets, on the menu it didn't say anything about extras on the fillets like fresh chillies or spring onions. As I saw the young girl behind the counter prepare the fillets all with out washing her hands. So for the unhygienic reason never going back.

Food takes forever to prepare, the staff that take your order don't communicate with the service staff and as a result my food was given to someone else. I ordered two things that you'd expect to see ready in a chipper at 7pm on a Saturday night and as a result of my food being given to someone else I was made to wait an hour for a macaroni pie supper and a single white pudding. The food itself is okay, but the batter is subpar - either cooked too hot or the batter is too thin as it's too dry and greasy. Will likely drive last it in future to get a chipper

Posting on behalf of my 72yr mum. Weekly we order her either a pensioner's fish or chicken fillet supper. She was a chef in her day and says the batter is amazing, one of the best she has tasted, the portions are great value, the site is easy to use for placing an online order for collection (would be good if they delivered). An all round brilliant service, thanks

Ordered 2 standard fish suppers. For the price i paid, this was not reflected in portion size. Also i know it's fried food, however the fish was really greasy, and the box was saturated in grease. The taste of grease spoiled the fish.

Great chip shop the food is excellent but the waiting time even when ordering on line is an absolute joke, ordered our meal for 6.30pm and was still waiting at 6.45pm for our meal, I no they are busy but why take more orders from walk in customer when other people have time slots from online orders.

Food is good but is problem with collection, when you come for collect you must wait because food is still not ready. Time for wait around 30 minut.

Best fish nd chips, I'm originally from Dyce and when I come back to see family and friends I always head straight to sea salt nd soul for my fish and chips fix as there is no where like.

Tried it for the first time today just as they opened fish was very fresh batter light and crispy chips were lovely served by a pleasant assistant l will come back again and would recommend them to others must give them 5 stars on trip advisor on there l come as a tourist not by my name.

Our second visit to bridge of Don finished off a great day at newburgh beach we all had fish and it was top class great batter and chips cooked to perfection we will definitely be back.
