Falafel Delight in Aberdeen City

Took about 20 minutes to make a chips and cheese and I was the only one in the shop. asked for it 3 times in a wrap, and the guy still didn’t listen, was on his phone constantly And when the time finally came it was the worst sauce and cheese I’ve ever had on a chips and cheese. Wouldn’t reccomend.

Ordered the falafel wrap with beef schwarma and veg. Absaloutely delicious meal and a wonderfully dedicated and friendly server! Thank you for a nice meal after work!

Nice small place hidden away at the top of Union St. Chicken shawarma was delicious, and the meat was nice and tender.

The guy who works here is grumpy as hell. The arabi shawarma was absolutely awful. I asked if there was garlic bread and the embittered guy behind the counter with an attitude problem said yes, I ordered it and it turned out to be two pieces of bread that smelled foul. Not garlic bread just foul plain bread. I didn't eat any of it!!!! Something shady about this place. Advice:try hire someone behind the counter who doesn't have an attitude problem.

Well, that was disappointing. Food was warm and not hot. The hummus was okay, but the pita bread was hard and crusty. The shwarma was edible but lacked the flavour I know from my days in the middle east. The babaganoush was a disgusting watery substance that we were afraid to eat. The delivery time was almost an hour. Admittedly, my wife ordered through Deliveroo. Based upon this first time experience, I would not recommend this place.

I just adore their chicken shawarma wrap. Very fresh, the ingredients go very well together, and the chilli peanut sauce just rounds it all off.

Absolutely love their shawarma. The beef shawarma is my and my husband's favourite. We dined in twice and ordered delivery once and it was very quick delivery. They also let u add some sauces or dips if you order from the restaurant. Highly recommended

Not the best falafel wraps in the world. No choices of sauces, the halloumi in my wrap was uncooked. The pickles were a redeeming factor and the wraps were made fast. Overall probably wouldn't order again

This place has become my go-to in the event that I need fast food. It is relatively healthy, well prepared, and quite delicious. I recommend the falafel wrap.

Falafel served cold. Wraps very salty. Falafels tasted of oil.

The falafel wraps are amazing, personally would recommend the aubergine wrap it’s fantastic and unlike any falafel you probably would have had. Great service and staff also

Ordered 3 large Shwarma's via Uber eats but was sent 3 small instead. Called the restaurant, they said they can't do anything about it. Very poor customer service.

We ordered through Deliveroo, waited 2 hours and our food never arrived. The restaurant doesn't answer the phone when you call or when the Deliveroo live chat team calls. They don't use Deliveroo drivers and they clearly can't handle orders properly. Terrible service and experience. I would rate zero stars if possible.

Obviously if you fly off to UAE or Lebanon, you will get authentic Shawarmas. For now and in Aberdeen, this is the best I have tasted.

Love this place. Usually order the chicken and chips shawarma mix and it’s always good. The large size is a challenge. They also have very nice Baklava. Haven’t used the delivery option as its within walking distance for me. They also have a loyalty card where you get a free shawarma when you collect seven stamps

I have tried the beef shawarma wrap for the first time today. It was very good. Very authentic Arabic taste. This is the best beef shawarma wrap I have tried yet in Aberdeen.

My Husband and I order from here on a semi-regular basis. Was such a good find on a complete fluke, but so glad we discovered this place! The food is delicious! Have recommended to lots of people and will continue to order time and time again :-)

Ordered on Deliveroo, had also picked up a couple of weeks back, both times were great. The variations on the falafel alone are worth a try a few times over. Authentic bread as well, shipped in from Edinburgh which makes it that much better! A great and quick vegetarian option and a must try for those tired of the same old takeaway.

The best chicken shawarma and flafel ever, the place is spotless and the owner is friendly and gives a great customer service, very welcoming team and delicious fresh food can’t ask for more .

I have lived in the Middle East for over 18 years and the shawarma wrap with chips is so similar to the ones in the Middle East I’ve been braught up with, in fact almost identical. It reminds me of my childhood and I would highly recommend Falafel delight for middle easterners looking for their classic shawarma or anyone from Scotland for that matter looking for some authentic Middle Eastern food! 10/10 and i am definitely visiting them again soon. I hate giving bad reviews to small businesses. so I'll keep it constructive. Tahini or thina is not peanut sauce. you can actually buy cheap thina base (to be slightly diluted with salt water and lemon) at sideral food superstore in Aberdeen. Falafel needs to fried on demand. not served cold and smashed. They are delicious when hot and crispy. If this changes I would absolutely love to go there regularly.

I went there today with my family and friends. It was a fantastic experience sitting on the stools by the window. The food tasted authentic and really nice. We would go again and would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

Excellent falafel, veggie and vegan options clearly stated on menu from what I remember. Shop being pretty small is the only downside, but still a few window stools to sit on.

Absolutely super yum food and only but ever enjoyed anything I have ever had to eat here.

Delicious shawarma and falafel wrap

Was in a rush and needed food fast! This was close and quick..... my daughter had a chicken wrap, amazing!!!!! So tasty and fresh! I had a falafel salad starter.....so nice, full of flavour and fresh...literally watched as he got fresh tomatoes and sliced! Would thoroughly recommend and will not hesitate to go again!

The quality of the food is inversely proportional to the size of the restaurant. Freshly made big wraps full and tasty and healthy. I'll definitely be returning to this place.

Amazing falafel and great selection for vegetarians and vegans. All the food is beautiful and the staff are very friendly.

Food was great, a small amount made me more full than I imagined. Delivery time was about an hour and 45 minutes (ordered 7:10, delivered 8:55) unfortunately, but as someone who doesn't mind waiting for food, it doesn't affect my review. :)

Popped in today with my husband for a takeaway lunch. Good menu choices for myself being vegetarian. I got the vegan aubergine wrap and it was delicious. Hummus, salad, falafel and choice of green chilli sauce or peanut. I got chilli which was a bit spicy, good for me. I also got the spinach sambousek which again was really good. Great portion-3 of the little parcels. My husband who is not vegetarian got the chicken sharwarma and falafel. He said it was really nice. The prices are very reasonable and the staff member was nice. Can’t fault it. We will be back

This is a Takeaway shop with only 2-3 spaces for inside seating, £5/6 for a medium/ large falafel wrap. Also have chicken shwarma or falafel/chicken mix. Wrap comes with pickled beets, lettuce, tomatoes and a sauce (only peanut chili sauce was available the night we ordered and it was excellent!).

Authentic Falafels similar to what you would find in middle eastern countries. The food is top notch and the staff are friendly. Will definitely satisfy your appetite.

Just moved to Aberdeen and noticed this place near my new house. So glad I popped in, the staff were so friendly and upgraded my regular wrap to a large as it was my first visit. I had a haloumi falafel wrap which was delicious...
