The best restaurants in Lowlands

Sadly they have now closed down, but if they ever reopen it’s excellent. (Aug 2023).

What a lovely place this is , stayed a couple of years ago when attending my cousin s wedding but called back in on Wednesday as we d just been to a funeral and the tea was back at the hotel,my dad was waiting for my sister and I in the car with his wee dog, Kenny who works in the bar very kindly took some food and drink out to the car for him , fantastic customer service from him so thanks again Kenny 😄 the food was lovely too

food was brilliant, portion sizes are a good amount.delivery came fast and food was still warm. over all great experience will be ordering again.

Clean and country-contemporary. Very pleasant service. Dropped in for a bite to eat - really good soup and bacon roll, I'm sure they'd have toasted the bun if I'd asked them to. The bar area looks nice, and dogs are welcome on that side of the establishment.

What a fabulous place. Very dog friendly, lovely staff, food was so good I went 3 days in a row. I will miss my cake of the day tomorrow. Very welcoming atmosphere and a bonus beautiful view across the bay.

We visited here whilst holidaying in Melrose. The meal was one of the best we have had and everything was cooked to perfection - the tastes were amazing. Definitely recommend the special duck dish, Masaman chicken curry and Pad Thai. You have to wait a little longer for the order, but it is well worth the wait. We will definitely visit again when we are next in the area

Parked up Motorhome for 2 nights. After a full day cycling in the local area, had dinner. Not disappointed. Great food, fully recommend this restaurant. Not one pizza in sight, how good is that ? 😉🤙

Restaurant was pretty full, but still managed to squeeze us in, amazing food and service, definitely will be back soon!

I drop in here to see a customer. Always a nice atmosphere, there's music playing but not too loud. Good clean, smallish bar. Lady who works there is very nice & friendly. Good place for a quiet drink.

it asked me to rate this place, the only thing i have to say is i had to change the google closing times as on a sunday it didn’t appear to close at 10pm like stated 😅 sadly found that out after getting cash out and heading down (not from the area)

We had to visit when we saw the name over the cafe. A lovely spot for lunch with friendly staff and nice comfortable surroundings with a good selection of tasty food options. Find is a lovely town and lovely to see how proud they are about their motoring champion.

Lovely food picked up tonight and enjoyed so much, will definitely be returning, also found out delivery is available too which is always convenient, staff were very pleasant and food was very reasonably priced, top draw all round 👍

I would highly recommend this cafe. The staff are very welcoming and friendly....the food is delicious! Freshly made pizzas, fish n chips, kebabs, pastas, burgers...spoilt for choice.
