Fantastic food, drink and service every single time i visit. Been to several of the themed nights, tapas, Greek, wine pairing and the food has been exeptional every time.

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Duns less than 5 minutes walk from the museum. Great choice on the lunch menu with light bites, substantial sandwiches and main meals. Had the tart of the day and one of the salad specials - both really tasty. The atmosphere was lovely with a great welcome and very friendly. We’re looking for an excuse to go back but it’s an 800 mile round trip so it might be a wee while till we get there again.

My son suggested having lunch here after a visit to the Jim Clark Motorsport Museum. The menu has some interesting choices and I could have ordered any of the options they were so enticing. There is a great selection of sweets/cakes and they serve a good coffee. The staff were friendly and service was good. It is a real gem in Duns.

Really lovely staff and the food menu and cakes were delicious. Little Sarah was also a pleasure to meet. Staff also helpful over questions about where the bus stop etc were. Lovely and clean. Suitable on the lower level for prams and wheelchairs and the loos are on that level too.

We were in Duns for an event at the Jim Clark Museum and ate at the Bistro on 3 occasions. 2 days for lunch and one evening meal. The food was excellent, well cooked and beautifully presented. Staff attentive and friendly. Back next year so will be visiting again.

GREEK NIGHT—It was super. We caught up with a group of friends before we all headed away for the summer. Having worked in Greece, they offered an extensive choice of dishes, which were very authentic—great atmosphere, with light traditional music, friendly and attentive. I will definitely keep an eye out for other themed nights over this year – Thanks guys keep up the hard work.

Absolutely brilliant evening with friends tasting wines selected by the wine supplier. The dishes that compliment the wines were superb and many of the dishes (you wouldn’t have ever thought would compliment the wines) Superb evening needs to be booked and book in early to reserve your table. Well done.

Before attending this great event we enjoyed a hot chocolate, tea and a scone in this establishment. Pleasant, friendly helpful girl took our order and it was served quickly. Drinks and scone were good. Wouldn't hesitate to return for a meal if in Duns again.

We were fortunate that while visiting Duns the Jim Clark Memorial Rally was taking place. After visiting the museum we strolled down to the square where we found the Bistro. At first we sat outside drinking our lattes enjoying all the action when a gust of wind meant that we were nearly wearing the Bistro’s temporary gazebo. After helping the young lady straighten her legs (the gazebo’s that is) we decamped inside to enjoy bacon rolls and avocado on toast. Lovely, helpful people a clean and friendly environment if somewhat confusing toilet door signs!

A massive thank you to all the staff for a warm welcome and being very accommodating to a family of 12, some with dietary needs. Lovely little place, with a varied menu, amazing cakes and treats, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We would highly recommend visiting, even just for tea and cake, it will be worth it!!

Lovely cafe with great food amd service. We went for breakfast and were initially disapointed when there wasn't a full breakfast on the menu but we shouldn't have worried. I had avacado on toast with poached eggs and bacon, my friend had scrambled egg on toast with bacon. Both meals were excellent. We follwed up with a lemon and coconut scone and a slice of chocolate orange tart, both yummy. Staff were great and it has a lovely atmosphere.

A weekend away in the Scottish Borders led to us unexpectedly finding this wonderful restaurant in the Yarrow Valley today. It was one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve had in years (delicious local beef and pork) and a seriously tempting menu focussed around local ingredients by Bryn Jones. The honey cake for dessert by @she.likesbaking was also incredible and I’ve only just realised that Oxana Jones is not only a wonderful front-of-house host, but also an extremely talented baker. Thank you to your team, it was a memorable lunch and we’ll definitely be back for one of your tasting menus and an overnight stay.
