The lattes and Cinnamon buns were great. Sparkling clean area with a viewing window to see the coffee being roasted. Playing Hendrix in the background was an absolute bonus.
Whilst in Jedburgh we thought we would stop in. Unfortunately, the cafe is now close but they do still have a takeaway shop around the back (well signposted). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They described each item well and gave us recommendations. There wasn’t an abundance of selection but that is a positive because it suggests they focus on quality over quantity. I went for the charcoal salmon and cream cheese bagel. It doesn’t sound appealing but it was nice. The bagel was chewy and the filling was decent. I also got an almond croissant which was large and had a good pastry to filling ratio. I did find that some bites of the pastry was drier than others but it was still a very good croissant. My wife got a apple crumble cruffin which was sweet and again had plenty of filling. She wasn’t blown away by it but it was quite nice. My mother in-law also got the almond croissant which she also enjoyed. Overall for all that it was £18.50 which for a bakery is very expensive in my opinion. I do like the shop as its cute and has a variety of loafs and I get the impression they change the items frequently.
Nice little cafe with pleasant simple surroundings, good well prepared food and a friendly feel to the place.
Stopped with friends on a day trip and had soup, toasties, cakes and teas and coffees and all were delicious.
Prices in line with other places but will definitely return here.
An absolutely fantastic butchers, who fortunately also do overnight delivery.
The sausages; the wave pies and family size steak pies are all delicious.
What an amazing cafe plenty of gluten free options to choose from all very tasty mocha coffee and they post out gluten free item in the post whoop whoop what a find
Wonderful hosts. Lovely food.
We went for a meal with friends on Friday night and the food ( Lasagne and chilli chicken) were really tasty. Amazing puddings too. Sonny and Jocelyn are great hosts and can't do enough for their customers. Essential to book as they are not open every night. Great hotel for B&B too.
Messaged direct 20/08/2022 and Dragonfly replied they have ceased serving food recently. Accommodation is available as self catering or B&B and unaffected.
This absolutely has to be the friendliest deli/coffee shop/wine bar in Peebles! Always the warmest welcome, excellent coffee, hot chocolate and home baking. Many of their cheeses and charcuterie items are local, and they keep a beautiful range of gift items to complement everything else.
Excellent filled rolls, can highly recommend the roasted chicken with home made coleslaw on brown along with the cheese savoury with salad on brown. Other fillings looked fresh and appealing. Staff were good and prices very reasonable. Will be back!
What a gem of a find. Lovely friendly guy running the place, dog friendly too. Best hot roll I’ve had in a long time. Sausage bap with a perfect runny fried egg with a tattie scone, cooked to perfection and delicious. I was given the choice of sausage square or traditional sausage. Being English I went for traditional 😂My dog was even treated to a sausage freshly cooked for him

Never had such bad customer service. Not the butchers they are lovey, but staff in bakery awful. This is the fourth time that I have been served by ladies who are more interested in conversing with the locals than paying attention to their customer. Bakery goods lovely, but sadly due to customer attention, I won't be back.
We were recommended to come here for a traditional UK Sunday lunch by the people we rented our holiday cottage from. It did not disappoint. Lovely roast meal and very reasonably priced. Lovely view from the window onto the golf course. Nice people.
