heatherlie house hotel in Scottish Borders

We stayed here a couple of nights and were very happy all around. The bed is a dream! Such a good night sleep in quiet leafy surroundings, a spacious room with a fantastic air purifier and a welcoming and generous host. The country house is well Covid proofed and Selkirk town is in walking distance. I can whole heartedly recommend!

I was upset when I saw how run down the hotel was. They were also doing repairs so there was building materials all over the upper level where the bedrooms were.The rooms were very basic. The beds were clean and comfortable.The only saving grace for me was the Manager and The Cook. They were very friendly and catered to our every need. Breakfast was served at our requested time. It was freshly cooked and the coffee was good.

Spent a night here in early December '16 when attending a function in Selkirk - Great location, chacterful house and hospitality like no other ! Really enjoyable stay in lovely surroundings with friendly amenable hosts who's obvious priority is their guests comfort.

The food here is delicious, the portions generous and the service super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Yo y mi esposa se celebró aquí nuestra boda.Primero de todo me recibió Sharon, quien hizo de ella para ayudarte, incluso en la mañana de nuestra boda Sharon me ayudó a organizar unas cuantas cosas (no puedo darle las gracias lo suficientemente )el personal del hotel fue muy atento y la comida no era de este mundo ...En general, fue un día precioso.Le recomendaría a todo el mundo si quieren tener allí boda en Selkirk también los precios muy razonables

Habiendo visitado varias veces aquí ya que los propietarios actuales tardaron más tengo que dejar un comentario ... Tenemos niños pequeños, que no siempre quieres sentarte la duración de las comidas, los dueños siempre hacen sentir como en casa. Se producen muchos juguetes para entretenerse, (aunque siempre nos vienen preparados) incluso ayudar con el 'ice-cream sobornos" lo que lo hace muy interesante para los pequeños. La manera en que dirección los niños es genial, no me sorprende que se siente aquí como en casa. Esto es 100% un hotel familiar. La sabrosa cocina casera, la comida es una excelente relación calidad-precio. El ambiente es genial, las celebraciones del Año Nuevo eran geniales, hijos disfrutaron realmente fuegos artificiales. Todo lo mejor para otro fabuloso año!

Brilliant cannot fault the Heatherlie it is Home from Home,there is nothing to dislike about Heatherlie , we meet some wonderful people and also a Family stayed at Heatherlie for two nights but we're able to stay an extra night and because my Husband and Sisterinlaw told them about the year befor New year the booked in for this years New Year and Lso the young couple who were with there Parents have booked their Wedding for later this year , so all being well we shall all be meeting up for New Year. After saying all that it must speak volumes. Hope this helps potential Travellers.

Stayed here two nights. Old hall/house but clean and comfortable. Owners are friendly and helpful so would return as it is a lovely area to visit!
