Wonderful hosts. Lovely food. We went for a meal with friends on Friday night and the food ( Lasagne and chilli chicken) were really tasty. Amazing puddings too. Sonny and Jocelyn are great hosts and can't do enough for their customers. Essential to book as they are not open every night. Great hotel for B&B too.

Lovely home cooked food, good range of drinks and great service. Lovely space too, comfortable, warm and welcoming.

Just arrived back from a few days here. Everything was great. Sonny and his family were so friendly, helpful and caring people. Hotel was lovely decorated, gardens were great with plenty seats and Parasols and Restaurant was superb. Brilliant breakfasts and dinner. Hope to be back soon.

Sonny , the owner, and his father have spent lockdown renovating this lovely hotel to a high standard. Check opening times as they are just expanding them. Great breakfast and economically priced drinks.

We stayed here a couple of nights and were very happy all around. The bed is a dream! Such a good night sleep in quiet leafy surroundings, a spacious room with a fantastic air purifier and a welcoming and generous host. The country house is well Covid proofed and Selkirk town is in walking distance. I can whole heartedly recommend!

I was upset when I saw how run down the hotel was. They were also doing repairs so there was building materials all over the upper level where the bedrooms were. The rooms were very basic. The beds were clean and comfortable. The only saving grace for me was the Manager and The Cook. They were very friendly and catered to our every need. Breakfast was served at our requested time. It was freshly cooked and the coffee was good.

Spent a night here in early December '16 when attending a function in Selkirk - Great location, chacterful house and hospitality like no other ! Really enjoyable stay in lovely surroundings with friendly amenable hosts who's obvious priority is their guests comfort.

The food here is delicious, the portions generous and the service super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

My self and the wife held our wedding here. First of all I was greeted by Sharon, who went out of her way to help, even on the morning of our wedding Sharon helped me sort a few things out ( can't thank her enough ) The hotel staff were really helpful and the food was out of this world... All in all was a lovely day. Would recommend anyone if they want to hold there wedding in Selkirk also prices were very reasonable

Having visited here several times since current owners took over I have to leave a review..... We have small children, who don't always want to sit the duration of meals, the owners always make us feel at ease about this. Will produce lots of toys to entertain,(though we always come prepared) even help with the 'ice-cream bribes' making it very exciting for the little ones. The way they address the kids is brill, no wonder they feel at home here. This is 100% a family Hotel. Tasty home cooking, food is excellent value for money. Just brilliant atmosphere and New Year Celebrations were great, kids really enjoyed fireworks. All the best for another Fab Year!

Brilliant cannot fault the Heatherlie it is Home from Home,there is nothing to dislike about Heatherlie , we meet some wonderful people and also a Family stayed at Heatherlie for two nights but we're able to stay an extra night and because my Husband and Sisterinlaw told them about the year befor New year the booked in for this years New Year and Lso the young couple who were with there Parents have booked their Wedding for later this year , so all being well we shall all be meeting up for New Year. After saying all that it must speak volumes. Hope this helps potential Travellers.

Stayed here two nights. Old hall/house but clean and comfortable. Owners are friendly and helpful so would return as it is a lovely area to visit!
