Have been here many times over the past few years.
Tiny bowl of soup, which was very tasty, and a small warm roll, which was also scrummy, for £7.25!
No background music. A suggestion would be steam railway soundtrack given the unique setting.
Also very poor practice to be sweeping up when customers are eating.
Unlike all previous, enjoyable visits.
Unsure if we will be back…
We went over on a Sunday ferry, a glorious sunny day. Had a wander around and then went to the pub. Great beer from the local brewery, friendly staff, lovely attractive interior. Didn't eat but the menu looked interesting.
Excellent cafe based downstairs at Bonhoga Gallery and shop.
Cakes, made by young woman who runs cafe, are amazingly good and reasonably priced.
Nice views of stream and countryside.
Can be busy at lunch time but otherwise OK.
Simple lunch menu...soup, quiche.
Friendly service.
Lovely gelato / ice cream. We enjoyed every bite and absolutely would return. Great service too, had a nice sit outside on the table and chairs in the sun.
Acabo de tener un hermoso almuerzo de Navidad aquí. 3 platos + petiit fours y café. El personal fue genial. Espero que vuelvan a abrir a mediados de febrero.
Great views over the area, only missed 5 stars as the long trail up the west side is cut off by several deer fences that are not shown on the map and require a cross country detour
Fabulous health food and alternative medicine shop, helpful and friendly staff. Well stocked and I was spoilt for choice. The lady who served me was knowledgeable about the products. I will definitely be back. Well worth a visit. 10/10
All round excellent meal - one of the best we had in 2 weeks in Scotland. It’s a lovely location along the loch and well worth the drive to get to. The food is totally delicious. We had razor clams, a fish pâté special, grilled langoustine, and a coley dish. All exceptionally good and the seafood is so fresh. Homemade ice cream in the desserts also excellent. Service was great.
What an amazing find this place was. We were surprised it was full on a Tuesday evening but after tasting the brilliant food we could see why.
The decor, service and atmosphere complemented the food making for a first class meal.
