Really poor, asked for a large cappuccino & got a cup half fill, when I asked if they could top up they made a fresh cup that was a third full,I won't be back, I appreciate inflation means we get less for more money but that was ridiculous

Drinks too dear. Whiskey measure really small to the point I queried if there was whiskey in the glass.

Ordered on just eat and the food never arrived.

El personal era muy educado y amable y estaba especialmente agradecido a Micheal que me encontró la habitación más hermosa y ayudó a hacer una noche inesperada en Inverness mucho menos estresante - que hizo esta damisela en apuros muy feliz! El baño jacuzzi era una característica encantadoramente relajante y me quedé muy impresionado por las habitaciones inteligentes y elegantes, que estaban muy limpias y cómodas. Sin duda volveré a reservar. Muchas gracias por hacer de mi estancia en Inverness una experiencia tan agradable.

What a find! We were a little late to make a reservation, so we just walked in about 6:30 on a Tuesday. We were able to immediately sit at a table in the bar area (there are only 3). We had a buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad and the rustic sour dough bread. Just perfect. For entrees we had the sea bass and the filet, both exceptionally prepared. For desert the crepe and maltese ice cream. Every course was the best we have had since we landed on the island. The service was great and even helped us decide what to order. Her recommendations were spot on. Just a superb job from chef, to service to house wine. If you’re in Inverness and tired of the same old pub food, give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work!!

First of all, I have to point out that I'm not sure if I should be more angry at those who made this "food" or at me, who also thought I should eat it. I should have turned around straight away and gone to bed hungry. The signs were all there. From the outside, the shop looked as if it had closed, the "menu" on DinA4 sheets in neon colors slapped on the wall. There wasn't a single Asian person to be seen in an Asian snack bar. The mixed appetizer platter consisted of pieces of fish, 2 different spring rolls, wontons, and spare ribs. Everything except the spare ribs (which had maybe 30g of meat in total) were fried beyond recognition and came with a neon-colored sweet and sour sauce. The Peking soup was the worst I've ever had and it had as much to do with Beijing as I had with the South Pole. I also ordered the Korean noodles with “roasted duck”... I'll probably never understand what the duck is supposed to be roasted. It doesn't matter because I definitely won't be ordering anything there again. I don't want to bash anyone here, I know very well how difficult it is to have to earn a living in the catering industry. But there are things that don't work. If you can't do something then you have to get help.

May 4 2025: Sunday night, early season, many places had no seating. This restaurant, tied to the nearby hotel, had seating. Food was good enough (I’d say very good, but I’m not a Michelin reviewer) for 4 very hungry people who had spent day traveling. And for a hungry person, atmosphere isn’t very important (3 star rating still above average). There was a futbol game on the TV…all I needed. The “grumpy” guy serving, according to a review a week ago, was basically working alone and he was the bartender. Place had 20 people inside and had seating for 50. Of course he was busy. Manage your expectations. Many places in Inverness require bookings and if you don’t have one (we didn’t), you have to have realistic expectations. If I could I’d give this place a 4.5.

Sólo entré por una cerveza y me fui. Estaba pintado de negro. El personal de un bar muy pequeño parecía que se habían levantado sin hacer nada. Todo el mundo parecía deprimido.

El mejor Kung Po que he probado en cualquier lugar y he ido a la basura. Las porciones pueden servir virtualmente a 2 personas. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera.

Esperé 25 minutos para revueltos y tostadas y cuando llegó hacía frío. Obviamente se olvidaron de servirlo como la gente a nuestro lado que se sentó 5 minutos antes de nosotros había horneado patatas inmediatamente. Lo llevé de vuelta al mostrador, lo recuperé en 5 minutos y obviamente se sometió a microondas, ya que era como goma, y la tostada ahora estaba fría y también como goma! Señora que nos sirvió la segunda vez era muy blasé, y acaba de cepillarse, así que no vamos a volver en el corto plazo

Good place to go if you want to watch a few football matches on at the same time. Not bad prices.

En nuestra reciente visita a Inverness, optamos por George's para nuestra cena. Aunque la hora de cierre chef fue lo suficientemente generoso para servirnos. Sus sugerencias masala osa, biryani, curry verde y un nuevo tipo de pan fueron brillantes. Además había un descuento de 8 💷. Volveremos en nuestra próxima visita.

The rooms are just what we needed after a long day of travel - clean and comfortable The restaurant and bar below is also pretty good, with very friendly and attentive staff, who take pride in their local ingredients and sourcing.
