Decent pub. Good atmosphere and is perfect for sports as loads of tellys and seating available. Even has dart boards and a pool table. Prices are pretty good too. Only negative is the service. Some of the bar staff not the most welcoming, friendly or helpful.

We were in with a large group of 50 people, I just wanted to praise the girl behind the bar with glasses (don't know her name) she was friendly and on the ball with her service. Good work.

Great atmosphere enhanced by the service from Nathan. Food was excellent so five stars to all involved. We had the shared plates and a lovely rioja.

The meat they brought was full of sinews and did not respect the cut/type of meat marked on the menu. After requesting a piece of white bread, they told us they didn't have it (and offering a refund) when instead they happily offer Burgers in the restaurant. The beer was good, and the waiters were friendly, but the food was awful. I had to leave more than 1/2 of the meat there because it was inedible. It's a shame, because it's a nice place.

Great place to meet with friends for drinks. We didn't eat here, so I can't comment on the food or rate it.

A nice bar to have a pint or two and coffee for my wife. We stopped in to dry off during a rain storm. Cara was our server and she was really personable and friendly. She made our visit extra special.

Lovely highland hospitality from Lucas and Kit. A cheap option for food and you get what you pay for but the staff were excellent.

Saturday the 28th of September's premises to have a breakfast a full English breakfast. When we received our food we had a few items missing. So I went to the bar with the menu and said we got these these items missing off our breakfast plates. I was told I ordered the normal breakfast. Wasn't the case as we ordered the big breakfast I mention this so I went back to my table. The waiter to come back to the table with some of the missing items still wasn't satisfactory we're as we got no toast I will get it for you he said the waiter which he never return with . Very poor customer service the food was disgusting the amount of grease on the plate was disgusting. the staffs attitude they didn't care well what do I say I'll give them one at of 10 . do not recommend this place the price they charge for a breakfast . As we left the premises 5 minutes down the road my friend threw up I think that says it all I say again I do not recommend this place it's a disgrace

Can't comment on food as didn't have any but everything was spot on for our visit, My brother and I were in for Portugal Scotland 08/09/24. Compared to most places we visited over the weekend we were greeted like friends we had a great laugh with other patrons and the 2 lads behind the bar were absolutely brilliant full of laughs and banter, type of place that if I was local I would make it a regular haunt.. Even past visits have been pleasant but this one in particular deserved a review.. Thanks you for being so welcoming and friendly hope to visit again soon..

Great service from Cara and Lucas, booked a dog friendly table to watch the footie. Nothing was too much trouble Food was great and arrived swiftly - would definitely recommend. Many screens so multiple sports or fans available at any one time

Popped in for the football, grabbed a beer and some food. Reasonable prices and a good menu with a variety of choices. Food was good. The place is clean and tidy with a range of clientele not just boozy blokes for footy. However, Cara and Lucas made my day. Kind, polite, attentive and thoughtful. Making you feel at home is a modern cliché which all businesses strive to achieve. These two did it. A credit to their company.

The whole experience was quite disappointing. I heard good things about this place however the experience was really bad. Arrived at the pub 10 minutes early. At the entry the member of staff has told us "our table is taken hopefully we have another one for you". What is the point of booking a table to then be told someone else took and we have to find a table ourselves. When we went to order drinks yet another disappointment. The beer was completely flat. When I asked the member of staff for a new one she looked at me as if I was stupid. When she was pouring me a new pint yet exactly the same thing happened. Instead of getting a new pint she just poured it into a different glass and topped it up with and expected a different outcome. WE LIVE IN SCOTLAND SND THERE IS ON TENNANTS ON TAP?! Now let's go with ordering the food which was the most difficult part. Half of the things on the menu were missing. Staff running about asking if they have steak (which they didn't on a Saturday night). Out of the 6 things we ordered 3 were out of the menu. Another massive disappointment. My partner and mother in law both ordered dirty fries. Both got something completely different from what's on the menu. The "burger fries" were dry and tasteless. On the menu it says you get cheese sauce with it instead of the sauce they received a slice of plastic cheese with no spring onions. (Photo added) The fact that the burger wasn't even cut it was just a slab of meat with melted plastic cheese on it is a joke! The burgers we ordered were cold and dry. There was more onion than the burger on the bun and it looked like a 2 year old put it together. The blue cheese burger had a tea spoon of the cheese and the "hot honey burger" had no honey on it 🤣 A member of staff must have come to our table so many times that she must have felt awkward to work in such a disorganised place. Do not recommend at all.

Sports bar with a nice atmosphere to linger for a beer or two. It doesn't look as shabby and smoky as elsewhere. It was also much quieter than in the other pubs where there was live music. The beer was good, but the taste and quality of the cocktails and food were terribly poor. Better keep your hands off it. Some dishes and drinks from the menu were also not available.

Straightforward food served with a smile and quickly. Window seat to watch the street go by. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend the Old Mout cider!

Cara and Shannon were amazing. Friendly helpful and full of Scottish hospitality.

Good place in the city centre. Food was good, service was quite fast, good value for money. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The venue itself was cozy.

Lucas greeted us with a beaming smile when we walked in, he and Nathan made us feel welcome, sorted out drinks and food, both of them were professional, pleasant, personable and brilliant. Food was great, Lucas and Nathan make a great team. They are a real asset to the company. The menus were a bit sticky, but their are TV screens everywhere showing different stuff fruit machines, clean toilets.

1st time here will most definitely return. Liza gave Fantastic service. Food came out very quickly and piping hot. Ordered a Mixed grill and the peppered mushroom pie follows my jam roly poly and a white chocolate and raspberry blondie. Absolutely delicious.

Super good place, we came because it had good comments about service and price, and I can say that the price is good, but the service is remarkable!! Very good. In addition, the facilities are comfortable and the food is good and abundant.

We used to be regulars but hadn't been for a few years, had heard that the quality of the food had gone from really good to really poor, from a number of friends, and decided to try for ourselves. Great service, friendly bar staff, but sadly, terrible food. Dried out chicken and old battered fish seemed like it was yesterday's food. What a pity

Perfect location to watch sports in a light, open, friendly, clean and enjoyable space.

Zero flexibility when comes to menu changes when you are booked as a group.

To sum it up. Portions are small and not worth your money, had more flavourful food from a takeaway and they skimp out on food quality. JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

We had lunch here yesterday, should have changed our minds when first couple of choices were unavailable! However we were hungry so ordered gammon steak and chicken, ham and leek pie - after 20 minutes or so the food arrived. The gammon steak looked lovely but the pie! well it was a lot of creamy sauce containing half cooked leeks, NO ham and ONE piece of chicken the size of my thumbnail with a piece of not quite cooked puff pastry on top served with watery broccoli and chips with a small chicken gravy pot. So disappointing! It wasn't very nice - but the few chips I ate were okay! Young lady server asked if everything was okay so I told her about the pie and to her credit she refunded what I'd paid. We have eaten in The Auctioneers before when in Inverness but never again and I definitely won't be recommending it to anyone!

Went in for a few pints while waiting on a train. Hardly anyone in the place when I arrived, only one barman on at the time, who had it well covered and was very attentive to the 10 or so customers as well his other duties, cleaning/setting up table etc.. Pints where good price as was the food, looked decent, I will definitely eat there next time.

If you're looking for to buy something at an auction house you're going to be bitterly disappointed. However, they do sell beer. Lots of TV screens if you want to watch some sports

Up from Edinburgh with my wife, booked a table o-line for 6pm. Arrived to be told our booking hadn't been put through because they don't check bookings on the same day. Very dissappointed!

Great food and wonderful people, both the service staff and other dinner's. This is what I expected as pub food fare and atmosphere. Enjoyable and recommend as a stop when traveling within Scotland.

Front of house staff were brilliant - the three girls that were on duty were lovely, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We were there for 1300 - watching all the rugby games - about 1600 we decided to order food - not much choice for vegans - so we ordered one if everything - first if all order was wrong - we got halumi instead of houmous which was quickly changed, then my burger was cold, a new one was made but then there was no cheese (vegan) on it, half the sweet tattie fries were raw, overall not a nice dining experience, the girls were good and we were offered a free drink as an apology.

Everything was perfect ! The staff was so nice, the burgers were so tasteful (the beyond meat was delicious), the gins were really good and the prices were definitively okay ! That was my favorite place in Inverness !

Bad service and bad reservation. After reservation there was no place! I did call, and the lady told me that i can get a drink but for diner to wait at least an hour.. we called and drive 30 mins to get there. Hope the customer stays away

We waited outside hoping to watch the women's world cup. When they saw us waiting they turned off the world cup and opened the door to ask if we needed anything, then told us they weren't opening until 11:30 "because of their kitchen." I would suggest edits to their hours but I have no idea whether that's consistent or not because the woman wouldn't elaborate. Missed kickoff as a result, really disappointing.

The food was good, the staff very nice. It is a restaurant where I will go back. It is a nice value for your money

The bar / eatery was not too busy when my party of 8 dined here. Service was very prompt, maybe due to nit being busy and the staff were incredibly polite. Every dish arrived roughly within seconds of one another....nice touch. Food is fairly simple but every one of us enjoyed our dishes. Great selection of foreign and domestic alcohol . Really good pint of Guinness...result! Veggies have a selection of meat free dishes to chose from. I'd eat and drink here again.

We came in and asked for some cocktails, got told they don’t do cocktails that aren’t on the menu but the one last night did make us some. Not a very great look.

We arrived at around 20:30 but said that the kitchen is already closed. So what is the point of writing the kitchen openning times to google if not followed...

We only visited for drinks (so can't comment on food) however it was a pleasant surprise to find a quality sports bar in Inverness. Good priced drinks, good quality pool tables and multiple screens with multiple sports on each. Would definitely come back!

Went here a few times food lovely could do with adding more to menu ,but good value staff very nice

It took over an hour to get our food after ordering at the bar. I was not given any warning how long the wait would be. When it finally did arrive, I would describe it as mediocre at best. The pie crust was tough, the chips lukewarm, and the burger bun was soggy on the bottom. The staff seemed ambivalent.

Sensible food at sensible prices. They were happy not to have all the salad and garnish with the burgers and sandwich. Even replaced the salad with chips. Always good 👍 And no bagpiper like the pub just down the road. That's just cruelty forcing people to listen to that screeching indoors

Nous avons réservé pour 20h30 et en arrivant nous avons été stressés par les serveuses car les cuisines "fermaient"... pas le temps de commander et de finir nos assiettes... Nous avons commandé 2 chickens wings avec 2 sauces différentes mais avons reçu les 2 mêmes... pas de choix de bières. Nous ne sommes pas restés pour la suite de la soirée

I were here 5 times in last two years. Nice atmosphere. I ordered: - Grilled cheese toastie - Pretzel with beer cheese - Houmous & flatbread - Macaroni cheese with salad - Onion rings - Sweet potato fries - Coffee latte. - Black tea with fresh milk. Grilled cheese toastie very tasty. Filing with 3 cheese on crisp sourdough yummy. Salad served with toastie have too much vinegar. Not possible eat for me. Macaroni cheese was tasty but salad serv together it is the same salad like with grilled cheese toastie. German style pretzel interesting taste, but not for me. Houmous & flatbread too spicy and flatbread too burnt in places. Onion rings, sweet potato fries, coffee latte and black tea with milk were tasty. From me 4 stars. Thank you.

The atmosphere is more on sport bar than sit and eat. When we arrived they gave us the menu and walked away without mentioning that we need to order at the bar, we waited around 10 minutes then to find out we need to order at the bar. Was was ok.
