We are not guests of the hotel but stopped in for an early evening meal. The dining room aesthetic was comfortable and the back ground music was pleasant but we had the most disappointing dining experience we’ve had since arriving in Scotland. The food was fresh and hot but the batter on the fish batter on the fish and chips was undercooked and served with regular rather than mushy peas. The pan fried salmon was well prepared but the paprika mash was just odd, in my opinion. I ordered a side salad which I never got and we were never asked if we wanted to order anything additional, including beverages. If the restaurant had been busy it would have been understandable but there were guests at only 3 other tables. We tried to get our server’s attention but a group of employees were more interested in chatting and my husband finally went over to them to pay.

We only ate here.. And the food and service was great.. Table was a little small for 4 people.. We would return to this location anytime..

The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff kindly allowed us to store our bags before checkin so we could explore. We ate breakfast two mornings for a good price, and coffee was delicious and included. Location is great! Walking distance to everything made it super convenient. Another reviewer said it was loud in the room but we didn’t experience that at all—perhaps because we were up a couple floors? Our room was quite peaceful.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs is really good and there is little reason to eat somewhere else. The breakfast they have is amazing as well. The rooms are really cozy, but the floors are really squeaky. But the rooms are spaced enough, so that you won't hear your neighbors that loud. Overall amazing and would definitely come again

The interior design does not match such an old tenement house, there is no atmosphere.

Only visited the restaurant, food was great and had no issues. They were busy as hell so had to nudge them a bit here and there but again, no problems.

A real shame - local money has gone into renovating this place but not a single local beer on tap. Alright inside but if this place isn’t serious about being local I don’t want to go. mcgregors next door will sort you out would recommend there for a true highland experience

This review is solely about the restaurant. Unfortunately we did not get to try tbe food. We arrived at 6:20pm, and were told we would have to wait 20-30 minutes for food. we had our daughter who is one and a half, and this was fine for her. We tried to order but were told we had tk wait to 7 till order. At his point, all was still ok. They'd had a lot of people beforehand and having worked in catering, I understood. However at ten past 7, another waitress came and asked if we wanted anything else, to which we said we hadn't ordered. It would be ten minutes from ordering. She took our order. At 7:45, the food was still not here, and other people were eating that had arrived after us. After another 15 minutes of nothing, we left. Our daughter had been very patient but there was only so long we could wait. The staff were apologetic, but I think there could have been a lot more communication to avoid this happening. It was my father's one night away from home the whole year and it was sad that it ended like this.

I spent a couple of hours here together with my family and friends. We had coffee, juice, beer and a great time! I'm sorry we didn't book our stay in Inverness here. Maybe next time :)

Wouldn't recommend over priced mediocre pub food with a lack of atmosphere. Expected a lot looking at reviews and was sadly disappointed. They advertised showing the rugby but no atmosphere. We seen that they have live bands at times and we expected something on a Saturday night but sadly not. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was drenched in oil, was soggy due to the amount of oil still on it. My wife had chicken Fajitas, wraps were burnt and hidden under the unburnt one. The chicken we counted 6 small chicken strips (less than half a chicken breast) not enough for the price. Sour cream and guacamole was not fresh.

A good hotel in the center of Inverness, the rooms are large and luxurious, the pub is full and the breakfast is delicious. Access is not easy when you are transported because parking is expensive and the lack of an elevator does not help with a baby or large suitcases.

Friendly staff but parking is a nightmare, the food was literally inedible and the noise above our room kept us up at night. Cute place but we won't be back.

My partner and I had a great time! We stayed at Blackfriars for just one night, the room was spacious, clean and very well furnished; we stopped for dinner and the food was also excellent and of good quality, we absolutely recommend it!

Great location, nice rooms. I was planning to give 5 stars, but after having breakfast and get charged for something It was supposed to be included in the breakfast I changed my mind. When I realized about the "mistake" and I informed the guy in charge, he refunded us the extra money was charged (Thanks!), but he didnt say anything... Not even sorry It was a mistake. We planned to have dinner, but obviously cancelled...

The location is excellent, right in the center of Invernes and close to everything. But I have to say that the hotel is wonderful. Super clean, great room service, great service. The staff are super polite and helpful. The rooms are well heated, comfortable and very cozy. I loved my stay there and I definitely plan to go back.

Golf trip and wanted a mid week dinner in Town. Selected Blackfriars from Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. There was a quiz night on that night (which we didn't know about) but we joined in and that was fun. New Owner could not have been more welcoming and attentive. A VERY acceptable wine list and good food. All in all a very acceptable dinner and will return when next in Inverness.

Went in on the Tuesday evening after eating elsewhere for drinks and watch the Scotland game. Started noticing the food leaving the kitchen for tables and had major food envy! so quickly grabbed a staff member to book for this evening. Neither my partner nor myself where disappointed the food was exceptional, the staff are very tentative without being to intense and if you enjoy cocktails they were also good and pretty fairly priced.

Recently refurbished to a great standard. We all enjoyed our meal. . Good portions and reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Went here for a meal with fantastic friends. What a meal!!! Absolutely fantastic!! Service was great, food was great! Such a brilliant experience and not rushed. Attentive staff with no over the top attention. Recommend 100%!!!

We stayed here on the final night after walking the Great Glen Way over the week. It was a fantastic stay-nice atmosphere, very welcoming staff, great food, lovely well appointed and spotlessly clean room. The hotel and eating establishment are pet friendly and couldn’t have been more welcoming. Excellent music playlist in the restaurant/bar area. It was a great way to end our walk and I would highly recommend a visit.

I can only say how disappointed I am as soon as it’s in Blackfriars did sushi I was very excited as I am a massive sushi lover and I always like to try different places food as everywhere takes a different Interpretation on certain sushi is but this sushi I got here was very disappointing I personally do not feel like it can be call fresh sushi I can only compare it to prepackaged sushi you get I. the likes of supermarkets Personally I think save your money

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish!! Check in friendly & informative. Room was immaculate & perfect! Housekeeping lady was lovely.... Drinks in the bar was so nice & cozy. Loaded fries we will return for!! Breakfast waitress was really nice too. Cannot fault Blackfriars and we will definitely stay here again!

Find find find Blackfriars Hotel Inverness- lightly pickled beetroot, beautiful trout, squid ink crisps, horseradish snow & cream OMG main course perfect langustines - finish with amazingly good whisky menu don’t pass their door ! Also rooms & brekkies superb - the premises operators understand hospitality- great welcome, lovely room , all staff offering friendly and efficient service - only negative aspect breakfast coffee was dreadful

First time in after refurb etc. I was impressed! I'm a fussy bird, but I would definitely go back after this visit. They've done a great job of the refurbishment, friendly staff, clean, good food, fresh and plenty of it. Great service. Good job folks!

This small hotel was amazing from arrival to departure,the food was superb as was the staff we will return again thanks to billy and all his staff.

Had another meal here and would recommend for food and drinks. Definitely one of the best in Inverness. Not the cheapest place but I believe you get what you pay for.

What a place! The rooms are immaculately clean and the food is outstanding. Couldn’t praise the staff enough, especially Billy who was so personable. We loved it so much we extended our stay (something we have never done before). Thank you Blackfriars, we will hopefully return (and spread the word!).

The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. We felt incredibly safe covid-wise and never at any point felt hurried. 10/10 will recommend and can easily see myself eating here again.

Excellent food, good beer and great service. Nice relaxed atmosphere, 5 min walk from the station to catch the Caledonian sleeper.

Stayed here for an evening and the room was beautiful. The bed is big and everything was so clean! The shower was also amazing. Due to COVID restrictions we ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was great. The girl working couldn’t have been nicer and they even let us take a glass of wine up to our room to have with our cheeseboard which made the evening extra special. A continental breakfast was delivered to our room at our choice of time in the morning, there was plenty of selection and it set us up for the day! Wish we could’ve stayed longer and will definitely be back!

We stayed here one night on our way further north and wish we could have had more time here. Spotlessly clean, one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in and the bathroom was amazing - huge shower, really modern decor and a roll top bath. Breakfast was brought to our room and it was continental (came with the price) - it was fine if in with the room charge but the restaurant food was very good. We came back to the hotel a few days later on our way to the train, and had dinner. Really excellent. Had the cod rissotto, one of the nicest meals I have had in a long time. They've spent money making this place look good and it shows, the staff were friendly and I'd definitely come back here without a doubt.

Nuestra habitación tenía una cama individual extra, así como la cama tamaño queen y ambas habitaciones eran muy espaciosas.Teníamos un desayuno continental en la habitación, que era fabuloso y nos convenía mucho mejor que sentarse en el restaurante.Cenamos en el hotel, que estaba delicioso, el personal fue genial con los niños y sus peticiones quisquillosas.Sinceramente, no me puedo quejar del lugar y definitivamente regresaré, gracias a Billy y su equipo.

Un poco caro para comida de pub, pero la comida es realmente deliciosa y el personal es encantador y servicial, así que realmente vale la pena visitar este lugar y, a pesar de mi comentario de apertura, no romperá el banco. Los precios de los bares son muy competitivos y también hay una muy buena selección de vinos.

Stopped here on our first and last night evening of NC500 and they were the most accommodating place we have been. The food was amazing and the whiskey advisory’s were the best! Had the beef cheek and it was incredible. Highly recommend

First pub visit of 2020. Had to sign in but not an issues- staff were friendly, table service was quick and several decent beers on tap. Doesn't have the choice the old Blackfriars has, but the new decor is far more appealing.

We fell upon this restaurant when were were having trouble getting into other places, and we're so glad we did! The maitre d' was very accommodating, even though we didn't have a reservation, and from the first moment the service was friendly and competent. What really blew us away was the excellent and sophisticated cooking. We had the ham hock terrine and venison tartare as starters; both were delicious and elegant. For the main, we both had the melt-in-your-mouth beef cheeks served on a bed of tasty mash. We split the cheese board for "dessert" and could hardly believe they were all locally produced. All-in-all, a wonderful and surprising find that we would happily visit again if we ever return to Inverness.

We were staying at inn but decided to have dinner as well. I had the hake risotto my fiancé had confit duck leg both were really excellent. Restaurant felt fresh and trendy, staff were attentive and friendly.We had read some reviews on this place which said food was good and i can validate this as well!

Great place- decor, service, drinks and food. My wife said that her bramble cocktail was the best she'd had. South African guy serving us was also very helpful. Uber clean as well.

Ate at the restaurant with a friend. The place was very clean - certainly covid secure. The food was sensational. We ordered the mussels as a starter - the cream sauce was beautiful. You must order the lingoustines - they were incredible and the potatoes were also lovely. Service from Billie was great too - highly recommend this place!

Popped in for a drink during our 1 night in Inverness after it was recommended to us well all I can say is it was NOT friendly we were not made to feel welcome albeit the place was half empty no manners we did not have food had 1 drink and left

Visited here on the second of our two nights in Inverness for a drink as I had seen from other reviews that it was dog friendly. Double checked before we entered if we could bring the dog in and he was welcomed with open arms - lots of fussing over him, a water bowl provided before we'd even sat down, and some tasty treats were even brought out from the kitchen for him! We were pleasantly surprised by the nice interior decor and enjoyed a couple of drinks. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the cocktail I had was nice as well as reasonably priced compared to the options in some other bars. Had we been staying for longer we definitely would have returned here to try the food!

We dined for lunch during August, I noticed on their social media pages they had a new chef with a exciting looking menu so we gave it a try.We were not disappointed, fantastic food beautifully presented and now one of our favorite places to dine in Inverness, we will be recommending it to family and friends.The dinner menu also looked great and they obviously have a very capable chef at the helm with lots of interesting ideas!! (Something Inverness is in desperate need of.)Thank you and well done to the new kitchen team!My only criticism is there was no background music playing during lunch - we arrived just after 12pm so not sure if they forgot or maybe aren't allowed during covid to have background music? But the restaurant was a bit quiet. I'd imagine later in the day the atmosphere would be better. Nothing major though. Great service!

We ate at Blackfriars the other night,I had a burger that was priced at £12,which isn't alot,I mean I know some places try to promote fine dining,but come on,a burger,and not a very large one in a roll stacked which was hard and ,I swear 4 chips,is just ridiculous,sweets that were priced at £9-50 for a tiny bit of cheesecake.

This hotel would’ve been ok as the room was clean and comfy but the fact we were not told about half the hotel being closed before we travelled was a disgrace, restaurant was closed as was pub, which meant we had to go looking for food which was difficult as everywhere was booked up ☹️ And just to mention we were charged the full price. Won’t return here

We arrived in Inverness late and looked for somewhere to eat that was listed on the “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme. Chose this one because it was closest to our hotel. Found an absolute jewel of a venue.The maître d' was on top of his game, but also communicating with the bar & waiting staff - no detail was lost. The food and service belong in a venue the next price bracket up, but that would make this place up itself, and it isn’t. We were charmed, seduced even, into having an evening meal that fitted a perfect day in Scotland.Don’t ignore the starters. Actually, have all of them. And for the mains, go for the langoustines. We opted for a liquid pudding so I can’t comment on that part of the menu, but can say that a 15-year-old Dalmore and the undisturbed privacy of a table after a meal is a rare treat.For a random find, this place hit top marks in every category. It’s just a shame it’s 7 hours drive from home.

Walked by and was surprised by the great looks of the interior. We were treated great by all of the staff and the food was great! No simple pubfood but just a nice little menu and the dishes were great. Hats off to the chef!

We stayed at this amazing place with our two dogs, The room we stayed in was lovely and decorated to a high standard. All the staff went out of there way to to make our stay a very pleasant one. Our dogs loved all the attention they receive. Breakfast was lovely delivered to our room every morning. I can’t recommend the Blackfriars enough. We will definitely be back. Lovely time away from home. Billy the owner/manager is the perfect host. Stayed here for 4 nights , first trip into the highlands . A very clean double room- 202 . Fantastic shower after a long day walking . Covid restrictions prevented a lot of services , but Billy organised in house dinner on 2 nights for us , was perfect. The breakfast served to the room was more than generous, plenty to make sandwich lunch for the walks as well. The rooms facing the main road can be loud for light sleepers . Over all a most pleasant stay and experience . Will return

Incredible hotel. The room was stylish, super clean, comfortable and just lovely. The location was perfect, downtown Inverness. The room is over a pub so when it is open it is very convenient for food/drink. Due to COVID, there were restrictions that prevented the normal opening hours. This place is a gem. The bathroom was great and had a large shower which I loved. Special little things made the stay perfect - full length mirror in the bathroom, teapot, wall mounted soap, extra comfie duvet and it is close to a Starbucks. Veggie breakfast was great too! Would highly recommend. We stayed in Room 203.

We booked this last minute to get away for a few days. We got a really warm welcome and shown to a wonderful room on the second floor. It was spacious and had everything you could need. The decor was very modern, lovely bathroom and spotlessly clean. Although there is no view we enjoyed sitting at the window in the peace and quiet. We had breakfast delivered to the room and couldn’t fault. The staff are so friendly and hope that they continue to thrive through this unusual times.

We booked the Blackfriars & we weren't disappointed. Harley our dog was fussed over, the staff are very friendly & helpful, the chef's food is excellent & very tasty.Our room was bright & well decorated & the bed was super comfortable. Definitely highly recommended The Blackfriars.

We arranged to meet up with old friends in here for a few drinks and a trip down memory lane. Blackfriars had been closed for around two years but re-opened a few months ago. The place has had a major upgrade and is now a much more modern establishment which also has 9 rooms as well as the redesigned bar/restaurant. Cannot comment on food as we only had drinks but staff were friendly and service was good. We would visit again when next in Inverness.

We arrived at the restaurant and it took a long time for someone to see and seat us as the restaurant was very busy and seemed disorganised. We ordered a nice drink in this time. When we were seated we were told we couldn’t order cocktails at table only wine and beer which was inconvenient. They seemed to be under staffed and service was pretty slow. The set menu we had for Valentine’s Day was £55 per couple but the steak was tough and chewy, the rest of the food was okay but seemed over cooked and of poor quality which was a shame. However the espresso martinis were delicious!

I've been here for both drinks and to stay in one of the rooms, having taken part in the first Thursday quiz night they held, and more recently staying in the lovely room 101 for a night out in Inverness.The place is beautiful, and has been refurbished to a high standard, right down to the glasses your drinks are served in. The room we stayed in was also beautiful, and had a wonderful roll top bath in the huge bathroom. Do expect a few quirks from the old building though, the floors were sloping in some places, but it does add to the character!On both occasions we met the manager, and he's very welcoming and seems keen to take on board feedback. It's a very new business and I appreciate that the team will still be settling in and finding their feet, and there have been a few wee niggles on both occasions we were in there, but the manager is working to improve things.I did find the booking options quite confusing, as nowhere (direct, booking.com etc) could I see what I was booking. The rooms all have different names, but when it come to booking you are just booking for instance a Deluxe Double Room, which is quite a generic term. I had speciafically wanted to book room 101, "Blackfriars", as it looked so special.Certainly go in and give the place a chance. Enjoy a drink, they even serve non-alcoholic Hineken which isn't half bad and gives some choice to the designated driver. If anything isn't spot on, let the manager know. It's lovely to see such an old building, and former dive bar, receiving such a makeover.

We booked to stay in the family room on the second floor for one night in February. Check in was quick and easily completed in the bar and we were handed the keys to our room. The place has just been extensively refurbished and we couldn't fault our room at all, clean, spacious, comfortable beds and lovely bedding and great shower. We ate downstairs in the restaurant on the Saturday night and the hosts could not have been more accommodating, giving us a huge booth table even though it was just me my husband and my three year old as it was more practical with the little one on a busy Saturday night. Breakfast was included and was great - a good choice and a nice start to the day. Our flight home was cancelled so we booked back in for a second night at very short notice and the room had been cleaned and was perfect again on arrival. We will be back for sure.

We went here on Friday night and had a meal which was fantastic and the music that was on was really good. We also went here on the Saturday for a drink and the band that was on was really good and played all types of music

I went with a group of friends and had a pleasant evening. There was an excellent fiddler who played a range of music. The bar has recently re-opened after a refurbishment.

Haven’t been in since the refurbishment so decided to try here. Went in for some dinner food was average, we finished and asked for dessert menus but told we couldn’t have any as the kitchen was closed. We wouldn’t have minded if we had been told this at the start of our meal and would have just ordered everything at once. Due to the lack of communication and feeling as though we were being pushed out we decided not to stay for drinks. The decor is absolutely beautiful but unfortunately we won’t be back, there’s plenty of option when it comes to food and drink in Inverness and this one unfortunately won’t be our first choice.

Had another great visit to this bar.We took my dad for lunch and drinks for his birthday, we had a lovely lunch nice selection of drinks too.The man ownerci think played happy birthday on his bagpipes to my dad when he was playing them for a group that was in for burns lunch, what a locely touch my dad was delighted.Staff all very nice, my husband was talking to the toung lady behind the bar who discussed whiskies with him , very knowledgeable helpful young lady.We enjoyed the balvennie and the loch ness gin.Thank you all very much for makibg our visit most enjoyeable.Lorraine x

Nice decor, good beer, good food, but I'd advise the owners to be careful with the selection of music. Traditional music is good , and Irish trad OK (Scottish is better in Scotland though surely, unless you're trying to be an Irish BAR), but Irish republican/anti British songs would put off many people, regardless of their point of view. The selection we heard included some of these and a friend also commented to me that they'd heard some of these on another visit. Maybe best to check first?

Great place. Rooms are perfect. Beds comfy, ski TV, hot powerful showers. Great host. Brilliant value.

With a new refurb and a good interior I was very much looking forward to my first visit to Blackfriars however left quite disappointed.

When the Blackfriars openned we tought , GREAT somewhere new As I wrote originally a menu with a small, but interesting choice Regret just the same as so many Pubs now Surely we are not the only couple that lke something a bit different

Traditionelle schottische Gerichte stehen auf der Speisekarte, am Tresen gibt es die typischen Lokalbiere und wenn man Zeit und Lust hat, kann man an ausgewählten Abenden sogar mit den Einheimischen gemeinsam Pub Quiz spielen. Service heißt hier: bestellt wird am Tresen und geliefert wird am Tisch, wie im Pub üblich.

Myself and my husband stayed here after a gig at the ironworks. We were really impressed with the hotel, lovely cosy, clean rooms, comfy bed and pillows, fabulous shower and the breakfast that was included was all home cooked and really good quality. One little downside was the noise from the bar, not terrible but you could hear the music on the first floor. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it for a close hotel to the ironworks and all the bars and restaurants in the city centre, but would request a room on the second floor.

Very nice pub with good food! Enjoyed our stay! They offer traditional Scotish food, but also the curry of the day was excellent.

Had to visit this place as the previous time in Inverness it was closed for renovations.

We arrived in Blackfriars by chance early one evening the week before Christmas. I liked the feel of the place as soon as we entered. My mood was brightened even more by seeing there was a good selection of beers including ‘Neckoil’ on tap which is always a winner.

Nice pub...but the music is tinny and too noisy..I'd go back...decent menu but a bit expensive for a pub...

We stayed here a couple of nights ago just to get away before the chaos of Christmas. Absolutely beautiful room, really friendly helpful staff. They even asked us for any honest feedback as they've only been open a few weeks and welcomed any help with 'snagging' but we had nothing but positives. The breakfast was scrummy too. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a central Inverness location.

I have been up and down to Inverness on business recently on a regular basis and bumped into the place by chance.

Lovely since been remodernised. Nice staff good selection draught lagers cider etc. Cocktails. Never had a meal but smelt nice! Nice and warm too and toilets on same level.. Bonus!!

Went here on a Friday evening , very busy, and good atmosphere .Comfortable seating and was impressed with the small flower in a hanging glass flask on the table. Reasonable prices and pleasant staff . Nice big tumbler type glasses with etching on them but only downside was my glass had a greasy residue from lipstick on it .

Went for an evening meal beautiful pub fantastic food. Hospitality was brilliant, showed us the rooms available would recommend. There is even a family suite to book. Right in the centre of Inverness.

Visited this pub as on our last trip to Inverness it was closed for refurbishment. Bar was very busy with mainly locals eating and drinking. Two cask ales available Caledonian Deuchars IPA and Fyne Ales Jarl both in good condition.

Good pub a wee bit away from the main footfall of Inverness. Much better decor than before which was a very dingy pub- the Beavertown beer is really something.

Had lunch today in this refurbished bar/restaurant Choice limited but the quality was extremely good Friendly staff Down point for an old couple music too loud

Entré mientras esperaba el tren nocturno a Londres con nuestro perro. Un acogedor oasis de bienvenida del clima sombrío afuera. Gratamente sorprendido de encontrar este lugar. Fue súper acogedor, con deliciosa comida y una gran selección de bebidas. Teníamos las vieiras y el salmón que eran frescos, modernos y muy bien presentados, la mejor comida que tuvimos en las tierras altas. El propietario salió e incluso nos dio un recorrido por sus habitaciones de hotel recientemente renovadas. ¡Altamente recomendado!

Decidí probar después de mirar por la ventana antes de abrir, qué sorpresa cuando vino a experimentar la comida y la bebida el sábado 9 de noviembre. Billy, el gerente, vino después de quejarse de probar las cervezas de barril, wow, Ruth's nos quejamos y omg la queja fue atendida de inmediato.

Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen und einen feinen Whisky genossen. Der Wirt war anfangs ein wenig knurrig, sich davon nicht einschüchtern lassen, er ist ein ganz witziger und herzlicher! Für mich ein absoluter Tipp in Inverness - ohne chi chi - einfach gut! Gibt wohl auch Live-Musik und Ceilidh, leider nicht an unserem Abend dort. Vielleicht beim nächsten Besuch.

Piccolo pub nella carinissima Inverness, la città delle Highlands. Ha tutto ciò che ci si aspetta da un autentico pub scozzese: pareti ricoperte di pannelli di legno, ambiente caldo e accogliente come una vecchia casa, una schiera di birre locali e non, stemmi, simboli e tavoli di legno vissuti. I proprietari sono il punto forte del pub: una coppia di allegri e anziani signori, molto gentili e disponibili, anche con i turisti. Il pub infatti non è la classica trappola per italiani e spagnoli, ma un autentico ritrovo per gli abitanti del luogo. Birre scure e forti, gustose, piatti molto invitanti. Ovviamente abbiamo provato l'haggis: prendetelo. Ottima anche la selezione di whisky.

Me sorprendió llegar tan desagradable cuando pregunté si las comidas estaban sirviendo. Chef era pasar el día fuera.

Estábamos buscando auténtica comida escocesa y la bebida y encontré esta pequeña joya después de encontrar en muchos otros lugares llenos. Este lugar es el auténtico, que sirve deliciosas cervezas y sidras y comida escocesa tradicional por un precio razonable. Pareja que dirige fue muy amable, muy recomendado. ! !

Sto dando dei consigli a degli amici per un viaggio in Scozia. Mi sono ricordato subito di questo pub imperdibile a Inverness. Assolutamente poco turistico, si respira la vera aria del luogo. Gestori gentilissimi. Cibo ottimo e birra delle Orcadi, la Dragonhead !

Vinimos a la ciudad tarde y estaban tratando de encontrar un lugar para cenar. Era un poco intimidante, ya que parecía ser local pero pedimos el camarero si aún estaban sirviendo la cena y ella dijo que una comida rápida recogida ya que sería una banda partida pronto. Mi marido cogí un par de pintas y nos pidió hamburguesas. Encontré un asiento delantero, pura suerte. La banda (Dorec-Belle) empecé a jugar y a unos 15 minutos más tarde la camarera amable nos trajo la cena deliciosa. Buena cerveza, buena comida y buena música. ¿Qué más podíamos pedir.

We came here after a bad 'meal' at a restaurant I'd definetely not recommend and ordered some appetizers. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food and local beer was great.

We popped in for a drink and snack and the owners​ were very friendly and helpful in making us taste some of the local beer
