The best restaurants in Inverness Central Highland Highlands and Islands

Popped in for the first time recently mid morning, missed breakfast and was very hungry. I ordered a tuna salad sandwich for myself, and 2 black pudding filled rolls for family. While waiting for them to be made to order, I couldn’t help but notice a delicious looking homemade cheesecake, so had to get a couple of wedges of that too for sharing, it was absolutely lovely, a total treat. Black pudding rolls and my tuna sandwich were much enjoyed, the bread was really good quality, not the cheap stuff, and the fillings also good quality and fresh. I shall be back, next time I will be trying the grilled hallumi sandwich, and most likely there homemade cake. Good quality food at a very reasonable price

Fuimos aquí a cenar después de un día estresante, el servidor no estaba en la lista o no prestó atención al orden y no conseguimos lo que habíamos pedido. La comida era mediocre en el mejor de los casos. Esto era comida china del restaurante no del lado japonés.

Solicitamos una cuna de viaje para mi hijo de 5 meses unos días antes de la llegada. Cuando llegamos, nos dijeron que no tenían uno, pero solicitaron uno de un hotel asociado (nos llevaría unas horas) 2 días más tarde y a las 8 de la noche conseguimos una cuna de viaje para nuestro pequeñito. ¡Solo para más tarde saber que estuvieron almacenados todo el tiempo! No es que hiciera la diferencia, ¡porque una reserva para la fiesta en la calle 21 estaba directamente debajo de nuestra habitación hasta la 1 am! Muchos de los otros huéspedes con los que hablamos a la mañana siguiente tampoco dormían, ya que era ridículamente ruidoso hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Lo único positivo que puedo decir sobre el lugar es la comida es excelente. Así que coma aquí, pero NO se quede aquí, especialmente si es una familia joven y le gustaría dormir un poco. No hay gerentes para quejarse, solo vienen de noche aparentemente. La reserva no es reembolsable. Adjunto una foto de la vista.

We popped in here for some ice cream, they have a wide selection of flavours and a few vegan options with seating outside. The ice cream was very nice but expensive for the portions sizes.

Had a poor experience here which was disappointing. We came in and the restaurant was empty and we had a nice table. The service was poor, we had to remind them twice about our order and we felt like we were putting them out. Food was ok not great. Overpriced for what you get.

This place is Absolutely top drawer, I would highly recommend to all. We carried out our usual check on restaurant reviews in the local area and chose No 27. The place was full when we arrived with no reservation but they managed to find a table for 2. Quite a small menu, but the food was amazing. I had the home made steak pie, very tender beef, lovely vegetables and excellent mash. The misses had the Chicken wrapped in ham. Again great. Two deserts, a sticky toffee pudding and I had the Biscoff cheesecake. Now I'm not really a sweet sort of person, but wow.... Fantastic. X2 soft drinks. All for £60 !!!!! Brilliant. ALL the staff were friendly, polite and efficient, the atmosphere relaxed. A lucky find, a golden nugget in the center of Inverness. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

A great place to stop for a coffee break , lunch or a snack.

Don’t come here unless you are a hotel guest! We went to the empty restaurant for dinner at 17:45 only to be told that it’s only open for guests. There wasn’t anybody around.

Have been here only once, and while I enjoyed my experience at the shop- reading some other reviews have inspired me to add another. Long story short- the conversation was better than the food. While the chicken was decent, I would not see myself going back. Especially considering the other options around. Also to add: the items were re-fried in order to heat them back up, or perhaps to finish a par-fry. I believe the former, due to the over-fried/burnt final product. Flavor was alright, but the quality was not that good. Also the food burned itself into the styrofoam takeaway- which for me personally is a big turn-off; and not to mention toxic to ingest. Take it how you will; and with your own grain of salt. I would venture to say that I’d probably genuinely enjoy something on the menu- at least. That’s because I’m far from a picky eater. If you are- don’t even think about going here.

Fantastic little cafe, best breakfast I've had in a looong time, couldn't fault a thing! I love having the option to choose my items in a breakfast, the coffee was delicious, and everything was cooked perfectly. Wish I was staying in Inverness longer to come.

Pizzas mal cocidas y ensalada de col que se iba a comer el mismo día que conseguimos que se probara rango anticuado. Coleslaw. apenas relleno a pesar de que pagamos extra por ingredientes adicionales.

It's a dated, but very pleasant hotel. The staff in the restaurant was exceptional.

Amazing shots and amazing service!

We ordered samosa ,onion Bhaji, yellow daal , kadai paneer. Samosa was made from frozen pkt. Rest items were very good. The only guy on the counter was not cheerful and sad looking. But food made up for it

Pedí una olla de té con un bollo de queso. Esperaba una olla de té preparado. En su lugar me entregaron una olla de agua caliente con una bolsa de té en el lado. El bollo era simplemente el peor y el precio a £ 7. 05 (! ) fue el más caro. No volveré a ir.
