Allergies are requested upon arrival and there is a wide range of gluten-free options. The staff is well informed, friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere invites you to linger.

Our visit turned out to be a total disappointment. We had a lasagna and a spaghetti. Both dishes were small, but expensive. (£24 p.p. for a main and a drink) Adding to that, the quality of the food was mediocre. It arrived within 5 minutes of us ordering, raising questions whether it had just been standing there waiting. Our server had, after initially forgetting that we asked for the bill, the audacity to ask for a tip, instead of asking how we felt about our meal.

Expensive food for what it is. Staff were friendly but we had to ask for salt and pepper! There wasn’t any on any of the tables. We also saw other tables being offered parmesan cheese but we didn’t get any. Toilets need a good clean and refurbishment. We left feeling a bit disappointed.

Very nice experience in this restaurant that we recommend, the pizzas are huge. The wine was very good, we highly recommend it.

Restaurant is run down and the toilets should be ripped out asap - disgusting! However the pizza was tasty, perhaps we should have ordered carry out.

This is my go to for reliable food and service in central Inverness at a moderate price....it's not gourmet, but solid food, well done, served promptly and by pleasant friendly staff.....dependable has a place!!!

We ordered takeaway 2 pizzas and a plain salad. The pizzas were terrible and we were very disappointed. The pizza which should have been prashutto was plain salami, little cheese, dry, no sauce, thin dough, and dry as a breadcrumb. I don't know if the food is better in the restaurant but the takeaway was awful.

16.95 for a tiny cold pizza won't order from hear again

Este solía ser un gran restaurante, consistentemente buena comida y servicio. No más. Visitamos temprano por la noche. Muy decepcionado con la calidad de la comida y el servicio. Las instalaciones son de aspecto muy cansado y se necesita una renovación. El personal aparte de uno que suponemos que era el gerente estaba desinteresado. Ambos baños tenían problemas. Los machos tenían un grifo que no paraba y las hembras exactamente lo contrario. Reportado al personal que dijo que lo sabemos. No es lo suficientemente bueno especialmente para las clientas por higiene.

We have been eating in Zizzi for years, but the past few meals have been disappointing. Our most recent meal was the worst - the pizza's, lasagne and starters were all very bland, and overpriced. We won't be returning. Service is efficient and pleasant.

An awful service even if we booked a table, they welcome you like you’re trash. Sticky table, and a cashless restaurant. Hopefully the salad we took was not miserable even with the hardest avocado we never eat! What a shame, zizzi restaurant are better in another cities

My order never arrived and no one phoned me apart from initially where I discovered they were at the wrong location, which was only 1 minute walk from my current location.

Cozy place. We ordered a starter to share (pork & garlic balls), very delicious. But what we liked the most was the pizza (rustic sticky pig), it was delicious. Furthermore, Pascual has been very attentive to us. We highly recommend this site!!

We went to this restaurant because it had a very good atmosphere. Pascual, the owner, is very friendly and all the waiters were very friendly and served us very well and very quickly. The pizzas were delicious. A highly recommended place to go for lunch or dinner.

A reservation was made at the restaurant, and one of the employees received us very warmly. He was very nice. We ordered pizza, spaghetti, and salad, but the food was very late. When ordering a specific type of dessert, we asked the specialized employee, “Is there alcohol in this dish?” She answered very rudely, “Do you want me to tell you the full recipe? This is forbidden.” I told her my question is clear: I don't want the ingredients, just do they contain alcohol? She responded nervously: You should ask for what is available without asking. The employee, Sofia, was rude and nervous. In general, even the food was good, not excellent. And I will not return to a restaurant where I felt insulted.

They told us to wait 5 minutes, but she welcomed other customers who arrived after us because we are asian?

Food was fine, server was capable. Our reception was atrocious- the man who met us at the door was rude and condescending. We stopped around 2pm on a Saturday to have drinks and sharing platters; he was rude at introduction and even more rude at departure. We will not recommend this place.

We chose Zizzi for a quick lunch, the service was very attentive and helpful, in particular Pasquale was really kind. Good pizza but watch out for the chicken on the margherita 😅

I happened to be eating at Zizzi's by chance and Pasquale, the owner, immediately welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home. Very quiet and intimate environment, simple but really good dishes. Highly recommended!

Despite booking a table, we were informed it would be a 30-45 minute wait, so we left. Why bother with a restaurant which doesn't stick to booking times? If their customers were 30 minutes late, would they hold the table...

Very average food and underwhelming service. Our drinks (two cokes and a jug of tap water) still hadn't arrived by the time our food had and we eventually had to ask a member of staff to bring them over. We also found it a bit odd and quite frustrating that we had to order via the app (which didn't even work initially!) because of a gluten intolerance.

Every place in the region could only get with reservation. Zizzi took us in without reservation and amazed us with their excellent food and service. A must go in Inverness if you’re looking for Italian food.

Hot and very bright as usual in the window. Reliable good meal. Tasty pizza and drinks. I'd give 5 stars if just a little more attentive, cleaner, faster and better air con. Tables are also painfully close to one another.

This restaurant has a nice view of the river and buildings across the other side. The service is fine, but the spaghetti noodles were on my table 3 minutes after the order went into the chef. And the noodles were overdone. We know why that happens and it’s not really a good way to serve Italian spaghetti. This is a tourist spot and so the prices are very high.

Starting from the assumption that eating Italian abroad is never a great choice both for the quality and for the prices which are dizzying, this place knows how to have its say. The lasagna wasn't bad at all!

Great Gluten Free options, I particularly enjoy the GF Pinoli pizza. Worth booking ahead as usually busy at dinner time.

We had a spotty time trying to find dinner in Inverness. The quality restaurants required a reservation and the ones you could walk into typically served hamburgers and beer or some type of fast food; not our style. Pizza, however, is always a safe choice. Zizzi is not a chain I am familiar with but the restaurant is well situated in the small city at the corner of the Bridge Ness and at the foot of the Castle (which was sadly closed for renovation during our visit). The thin crust pizza was just the treat we craved after a chilly day on Loch Ness. We also enjoyed the black current cheese cake over macchiatos. The staff was friendly and efficient despite the high pace and turnover. We enjoyed it enough we repeated it on our final night.

Everytime i order from here i end up with the wrong items 🤣 a shame cause they have some nice food but honestly a waste of money when I don’t receive the right food and receive no refund

They were extremely busy when we went for a meal last night, but we saw the staff strive to provide good service. We really enjoyed our meal. We personally found the music slightly louder than is our preference, but it went with the buzz of the place.

We ate today at Zizzis Inverness, the staff, esp. Roma and Ellie were excellent, super friendly, on point, helpful and all done with a genuine smile. It was also lovely to see how well the chefs and front of house staff worked together. Will defo be back.

The bartender on the evening of Monday 12 Aug was so rude. I asked where to wait for takeaway pickup and he first told me if I don't see it, it's not ready and then told me I should get in queue if I expect to get my food. Food was decent, some vegan options, but the butternut squash in the salad was hard and the salad was gross, but the rude bartender ruined the experience.

It was very busy but still, the service was good. The food was delicious and prices reasonable.

Delicious food! Both pizza's and pasta's are great quality. The only feedback I'd give is on how Zizzi deals with allergies. Our son has a nut allergy, which is annoying for him and limits his options. We are used to this, but Zizzi made a really big deal of allergies and even put a big bottle with the word 'Allergy' on the middle of our table, which was awkward for our son - he does not want everybody to know he has an allergy. Our suggestion: downplay it a lot, don't be so nervous about it, but keep a sharp eye on the preparation of food (which you did, and there were lots of options for him to choose from, thanks!)

I was attended to by Philip and he was very courteous, polite, professional and delivered excellent service. Made me wonder why I haven't come in more often. The entire team also gave a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.

Garlic bread was far too oily, parmesan for lasagne tasted 'stale'. We go to Zizzi in a lot of cities, all exceptional quality,but this was poor. Staff were pleasant but no complimentary snacks offered. Chap obviously in charge was very unwelcoming. Disappointed

If you don't have a reservation, you will be refused in a very unpleasant manner, even if the restaurant is half empty on a Wednesday evening. Avoid as long as the reception remains haughty and unpleasant.

Recommended by a local at our motel. Food was fast and top shelf - the BEST GF pizza I have ever had - great music - great vibe. Thanks to Pasquale and the Zizzi team for a perfect night out. Also got some perfect sunset pictures just outside at Ness Bridge. Zizzi's is Tops!

After a week of fish & chips on the Isle of Skye, a change was needed... I hope that doesn't cloud my judgment too much ;-) I had pizza, red wine (Nero d'Avola), limoncello and an espresso . Everything was pretty tasty. The prices are quite ambitious by German standards, but absolutely within reason for Inverness. Tipping when paying with a card was transparent and could have been declined. Only the ambience wasn't really great, but that's less due to the furnishings than to the location or the building - you pretty much feel like you're in an aquarium...

Food was really limited for people who dont eat meat or alcohol, most pastas cant be customized and they just offer whats on the menu, service was very slow and uncaring. Atmosphere is so bad for families, so loud. Will not come again.

We weren't given a table because the restaurant was full and we didn't make a reservation, which is fine, but the host was arrogant and unpleasant.

Food lovely but missing item which is disappointing restaurant can not help directly been told have to go through just eat to have it delivered after everything else or not at all currently an hour after delivery and missing item not delivered as yet ☹️
