Bella Italia Inverness in Highland

Went in for the £5 pasta deal in January and certainly was. I disappointed. The food was great and at such good value, service was also very fast and friendly from Wiktoria. Wouldn’t definitely recommend a visit.

Service staff were welcoming, professional and served with a smile and a chat.

We were at Bella Italia on hogmanay as a family of four. Magda served us, the service and food was very good. Will return again soon :-)

Definitely worth coming here. Reasonably priced. Got to try spicy sausage pasta. It was delicious. Side of fries was good quantity and the right amount of crispy. Our server Magda was great.

Fabulous meal, despite being busy Magda looked after us so well.

Tried their christmas vegetable pasta, didn't like button sprouts in it (surprisingly they take 2 pounds extra for that). Didn't like their garlic dough balls either. Lemon cheese cake was a bit too lemony. Chocolate orange fondant was good, but sadly their quantity is lesser in set menu. Overall, it was okay but a bit below my expectations.

We were served by Liam today after a little confusion around menus and offers Liam went above and beyond to ensure our visit was fantastic. As a coeliac it’s refreshing to find a restaurant so clued up on allergens along with superb cocktails. Liam couldn’t do enough for us going the extra mile enhancing our experience. Liam is an asset to the Inverness Bella Italia

We have been here three times in three days! Beautiful food, both the pizza and the pasta, and wonderful service (thank you for being a star Magda!), we will definitely be back again:)

We were a big party of originally 20 people, and the business got in contact to arrange pre-ordering, which made our night go alot smoothly with timing for food coming out to our table. We had a couple people cancell from the booking and our server Gabriel was more then happy to help accommodate that. Extremely polite staff and very enjoyable experience with great organisation and communication from the staff, definitely recommend.

The service was first class Magda is amazing she is a really good host, absolutely so welcoming we will be back again. Food very well presented and tasty, I cleared the plate. Ministroni soup excellent lasagna amazing.

Went for a meal with a group of friends on Saturday 7th December. Service was excellent especially Gabriel who made us feel very welcome and offered great service. The food was fantastic and everything arrived at the same time. Ordered a delivery through deliveroo, they only delivered main course for one order. Tried to contact both deliveroo and Bella italia repeatedly for about an hour with no luck. Deliveroo randomly sent a message saying they would refund 80p, which they have not done, meal for everyone ruined as constantly on the phone thinking it could be resolved. Finally got through to Bella italia the next day and they said it was nothing to do with them, which is fine if that’s their attitude but no point ordering from them again if so.

I very much enjoyed the spicy sausage pasta and Magda's kind service, would recommend the place any time!

I have tried to eat Italian food in 4 cities in Scotland, this is the only place that had me saying PERFETTO! Gabriel made us feel like Michelin star guests! Vegan and vegetarian options, very conscious of diet restrictions, and exactly the tastes we were craving. If you stop in Inverness, this is a must for dinner. You'll come for the delicious food and wine, but you'll be enamored with a legendary pepper shaker that has to be seen to be believed. Treat yourself and come eat here 💖

Closing time was ten O'clock. We went at 8:30 at they were reluctant to take us. One of the bartenders was quite rude to my friend who has alergies and was trying to order. We felt a bit unwelcomed. Any kebab which serves pizza it's better than this

It was not my 1st trip to Bella Italia, so disappointed that items on the menu were not available, the same as the last time I visited, so not a one-off! I managed to get my third choice main.

Ok for a chain restaurant. If you want real Italian food, you should go somewhere else. - Stay away from the tiramisu for 6.99, really disappointing.

I honestly don't know what people are talking about on spending more than 20£ per person. Bella Italia has a perfectly delicious 2 course meal for 19£. If you're buying drinks then it's obviously going to be more expensive but the food was more than reasonably priced in my opinion. Bathroom was pretty dirty considering how good the food was. Also, if you're trying to get in after 6 without a reservation good luck.

We had a lovely meal here this evening. Perfect service from our waitress Magda. She gave us time to choose our food and drinks. We weren't rushed and we weren't left waiting either. She was polite and friendly and seemed interested in us as visitors to the area. Food was hot and tasty. We would definitely eat here again.

Magda did an amazing job catering to my parents’ every need. The food came quickly and was very tasty!

The Romanian guy was very attentive. He went back through the order to make sure he had everything wrote down properly. He even photobombed a pic of me and my partner. However, one of the woman was rude and the manager was rude as well at the end when ordering desserts and coffees. The disabled toilet wasn't very clean and the woman in my party found it difficult to manoeuvre in the ladies toilet as the toilet seat was falling off.

Love this Bella Italia. Magda our server is amazing. We have met her a couple of times now and she is so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Obviously at the moment prices for eating out are ridiculously high. But considering they're no more expensive than other restaurants around, the service and food are excellent. Will definitely be back.

Worst Italian restaurant i have ever been to. The only word left from the word "Italian restaurant" is "Italian". The worst pizza i have ever eaten. The cocktail was 90% ice and not a drop of limancello. I can go on and on, if you want to know the worst service in town, that's where you go. If anyone goes, know that McDonald's is across the street.

Magda was wonderful!! She was fast, friendly and soo helpful for tips on our trip. She had a beautiful personality ♥️ and also, I loved that the pizza wasn’t precut, allowing me to make my own sizes! The garlic honey drizzle was the frosting on the cake. The cocktails were light and fresh, as well as the gelato. The coffee was the best I’ve had so far in Scotland ✅

I am not a pasta fan, so I had the chilli ang garlic prawns as a main. They were tasty. The rest of the family had pasta and really enjoyed it.

We arrived thinking we had a reservation but found out that I’d booked for the wrong date. The team were amazing and managed to find us a table even though it was a busy night. We had a great meal. Would definitely recommend.

We were seated right away. The place was a bit crowdy, but very nice. The food was nice and tasty. I had goat cheese pasta, which was very tasty, but the portion could have been a bit bigger. The servise was very nice. The toalety were clean.

Been here a few times with no complaints but today food was lukewarm and not so good. Very disappointed.

My wife and I called into Bella Italia in Inverness for lunch on a Monday lunchtime in mid-September. Service was friendly and efficient. I opted for the pizza calzone and my wife the risotto. We didn't have long to wait for our orders and both agreed that the food was lovely - hot and tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We did not opt for desserts and were also pleased when we found out that we could use my wife's Blue Light card when paying. Good food, good staff - recommended!
