We had a wonderful meal here from starter to dessert, the menu is very well put together. I had the scallops to start, beef fillet for main and Delice for dessert, all highly recommended, the beef main course was one of the best pieces of beef I have ever had. Simply outstanding!!

We were hiking the Great Glen Way and stayed here for one night. The staff (especially Steve, a South African) were lovely and attentive. The food was very good, and the included breakfast was lovely. Unfortunately, the beds were the most uncomfortable thing I have ever experienced! Literally you could feel coils through the mattress! The room was very dated and needed updating, and the shower was particularly lame. As others have noted, the website seemed very deceiving compared to reality.

Give this place a miss. Bar/restaurant was empty when we called in and now we know why! Felt like a throw back to 1930s. No atmosphere. Cutlery was filthy. My seafood platter was nice but husband's venison was overcooked. Barman (owner?) was pleasant enough but we were constantly watched over by his lady partner, who made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

We stayed three nights at the Tomich Hotel to be close to the hiking in Glenn Affric and it was the perfect location to base camp out of for our stay. The weather was quite variable in August so we liked being close to home when the weather would inevitably turn. Glenn Affric is very quiet, we saw very few people in the best way possible and likewise enjoyed the calm of The Tomich Hotel. We were thankful for the pack lunches the hotel chef prepared for us and for hot breakfast in the morning AND dinner in the evening. There is not a lot of other dining nearby so it was nice that everything could be taken care of food wise right at the Hotel. (The cafe next door has wonderful sandwiches and soups in the morning / early afternoon.) If you like peace and quiet and being on the doorstep of incredible scenery and hiking, this is the perfect place for you.

Called here for a takeaway fish and chips on May 10th from the food truck. Some of the best fish and chips I've ever eaten, compliments to the young chef on the food truck.Keep up the good service, the F&C's won't be beaten in this part of Scotland I'm sure.

We visited a lot of restaurants and hotels on our way through the Scottish Highlands. This restaurant pleasantly surprised us. Best dinner and food of the entire stay in Scotland. Nice staff, atmosphere in the restaurant and excellent food. We recommend !!!

Loved the highland cows. We visited in the morning 10:30am when the cows were eating. There were 3 cows standing up - cleaning each other and scratching their necks with their horns - great pictures. One even came very close to the fence grazing for best picture ever! Parking: Free and Plenty! (So much better than trying to park in Inverness itself! Crazy trying to park in the town.) Breakfast: Delicious food (esp. the haggis on a bun - very filling) and very well priced. Outstanding toilets with individual stalls and sinks. Extremely clean! Gift shop was rather high priced. Not as much variety of gifts as at the Urquhart Castle (best gift shop). I would recommend going here! Very thankful!

I called in here for a coffee on the way home from the airport and have been bounced by a demand for a £100 fine from Britannia Parking for missing the parking ticket machine, in the dark on a rainy evening. I won't be calling again.

Had an unforgettable meal at this amazing restaurant overlooking Loch Ness! The steak was the best I've ever had—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. And the chicken? Juicier than I thought possible. Combine that with the stunning view of the loch, and it was a truly magical experience. Highly recommend

Arrived just after they'd closed for the evening - staff happily opened the door & offered me the last pirtion of chips! After a solid evening of mountainbiking, that was just what I needed! ☆☆☆☆☆ service, with a smile! Highly recommended 😃
