Fiddler's Highland Restaurant was definitely one of our favorite restaurants on our Scotland trip. They had a great beer and scotch selection. I really enjoyed the cheeseburger. The haggis and venison chili were also very good. They have a good kid's menu also. My son really enjoyed the salmon. The restaurant had a cozy feel and the staff were very nice. We wished we had time to visit this place again on our trip!

The food is poor quality to say the least. Fish that barely had enough fish in it to stick the oily batter together. The fries where equally over oily and the salad was just some lettuce thrown in a box with bread crumb chicken pieces thrown on top. Might be better when no Covid but I’d never eat there again. Wir haben erst nen Drink in der zugehörigen Bar nebenan genommen bis wir zu unserem reservierten (das sollte man immer tun) Tisch konnten. Das Essen ist echt lecker und wird durch eine schöne Craftbeer Auswahl abgerundet. Nach dem Essen kann man noch einen Whisky aus der Karte auswählen. Es gibt auch Triple-Kombos bei denen man drei verschiedene Whiskys probieren kann. Der Laden war bislang mein persönliches Highlight in Schottland.

No comimos en el bar, ya que queríamos comer fuera y aunque hay mesas que no estaba permitido. Nos mostraron un snack bar -Fiddlers eran pedimos gambas y patatas fritas y dos cafés. Los scampi fue la peor que tuvimos la mala suerte de comer fue procesado mushing en miga!! Las patatas fritas eran terribles y las botellas de salsa heinz estaban llenos de la más barata disponible! ketchup 25 libras por el honor de comer fuera. Incluso el personal de la tienda de regalos dijo que comería allí y al lado!!! Quizás -Fiddlers llegamos nombre de turistas que tienen la mala fortuna de prueba hay snack bar!

Mi pareja y yo descubrimos el -Fiddlers en tripadvisor. Decidimos reservar una mesa y nunca me arrepentí. El -Fiddlers es un hallazgo fantástico. La comida no era de este mundo. Recomiendo reservar mesa ya que el lugar se llena. 10/10 en todos los aspectos.

L'interieur est charmant. L'extérieur est situé en bord de route. Des spécialité écossaises à boire et à manger : du côté des boissons, whiskies, cidres, bières, Irn Bru, Ginger beer... Du côté des plats, haggis, saumon fumé au miel, portés, fruits de mer...Le haggis avec sa crème au whisky est particulièrement savoureux.Pour les personnes qui souffrent d'intolérance alimentaire, il est assez difficile de trouver un plat qui convienne.

Viel Betrieb in der Hochsaison aber fachmännisch geregelt, wer auf den Tisch wartet, kann neben an im Café sein Bier, Wein oder alles andere ordern um nicht zu verhungern. Sehr gute Idee, um die Leute bei Laune zu halten. Das Essen lohnt sich alle Mal. Gute Hausmannskost von Haggis bist Lamm ist alles auf der Karte aber auch einige gut portionierte Salate, so dass sicher für jeden etwas passendes findet. Das Beste lasst eich mal die kleine und die ausführliche Whiskey-Liste zeigen unglaublich, hier kann man viel viel Zeit und Geld investieren aber wer mit einer bestimmten Sorte liebäugelt und diese gegen eine andere vor dem Kauf woanders probieren möchte, kann das hier sehr gut mit ausführlicher Beratung durch den Wirt, der bestimmt alle bereits mehrfach getrunken hat ;-). Sehr zu empfehlen, auch wenn es im absoluten Tourismuszentrum liegt.

Habiendo estado en Ancarraig Refugios a pocos kilómetros de distancia, nos aventuramos en tambor para la cena. Paramos en -Fiddlers y quedé impresionado con la cocina. Es un 5 estrellas, bien presentada, bien de precio, y absolutamente deliciosa. sangrienta El ambiente era fantástico también. No podemos quejarnos de este sitio de ninguna manera.

Vu que le restaurant est à côté des boutiques de souvenirs pour les touristes, nous pensions qu'il s'agirait d'un restaurant à touristes. Au conttraire, très typique, accueil chaleureux, décor sympa et repas agréable à coup raisonnable. possible avec fillette de 2 ans.

El menú no es muy variado pero la calidad es buena y las cosas están bien hechas. La carne es excelente.

Sin embargo, Cielo whisky - la comida era la estrella del espectáculo. Simplemente fantástico para cocinar. Menú genial, gran mesa (ocupada pero cómodas y de ninguna manera ninguna prisa). Había q sirve que era camarero de una explosión! Buen chico. Muy conocedor de todo el whisky y el área local.

My wife and I went to Fiddlers for some food & couple of drinks.The foreign lady behind the counter needs a serious lesson in manners. We had drinks, but decided not to order food because of her attitude (whatever you do, don't ask her where the toilet is!). Went to The Glen Cafe instead and had amazing food and top service.

Pasamos por Fiddler's sin haberlo planificado y resultó ser un acierto. La atención estupenda y la comida muy correcta a un precio coherente. La hamburguesa es más que recomendable y las raciones son completas y generosas.

Nuestro guía nos llevó a Highland Fiddler's igual que abrió, lo cual fue bueno porque pronto estaba lleno. Siendo conocida por su gran selección de whiskys de malta, rápidamente me pidió un Scapa 16. Ya no había bastante completo, y a la izquierda de dram fue su última botella, el camarero me lo dieron gratis y me echaban un Highland Park (también un whiskey orkney) que había pagado. Ottimi piatti abbondanti e ben cucinati, personale gentilissimo, non abbiamo avuto problemi a cenare con una bimba piccola al seguito e lista degli allergeni disponibile. Stopped for eats & drinks here after cycling from FA & found it really nice, weather was warm so we sat outside & people watched while we enjoyed a beer(some nice choices) & then a meal which was excellent chosen from a good range menu. If you like a wee dram then this is the place.

Heerlijk gegeten in een knus Highland restaurantje . De bediening is vlot en de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Ik had een beetroot & goatcheese quiche en voor mij was dit de lekkerste quiche die ik ooit, tot nu toe, heb gegeten. Mijn man had zalm, vers uit het Loch. We gaan hier zeker nog een keer eten!

Das war auf unserem Schottlandtrip das beste Restaurant. Der Service war erstklassig freundlich und das Essen war so gut, dass wir glatt ein bisschen zuviel gegessen haben. Sehr schöne Einrichtung, typisch schottisch. Habe dort das erste Mal Haggis gegessen und es war köstlich.

We heard about this famous restaurant and bar. We were touring around the Loch Ness and stopped to see. We liked the beer selections but the restaurant is rather ordinary looking.The whiskey selection is rather good but it is not worth driving there just for this bar.

There are not a lot of food options in the Urqhart Castle area but a good bet is Fiddler’s Pub which is just a few minutes away in the village of Drumnadrochit. The menu offers typical pub fare but there are usually a few specials that are worth trying. One of our group had the pie of the day – pulled pork with macaroni and cheese – which he declared as excellent. The rest of us had the regular beef burger which was pretty good. The service was quick even though the pub was packed and the prices reasonable.
