The food and service was outstanding. The staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and the 400 plus whiskies on offer. Can't fault it at all

Visited in September 2024 whilst on holiday, we couldn’t take dogs inside (fair enough) but we then asked if we could eat outside and was told no, asked if we could just get a drink outside and was also told no. What’s the point in putting tables outside? Terrible hospitality - I wouldn’t bother giving them your money, let alone my own.

Great tasting food. Best burger since 2008! Friendly service, good Scottish ales and dog treats, and water bowls if needed.

just wanted to thank the lovely woman who was working last Sunday night, phoned looking for a table as there was nothing open but we were to late for a table but she still offered us a takeaway pizza even after last orders! so grateful for it! Also thanks to the chef!! Many Thanks!!

Tratando de encontrar un lugar para comer un martes de invierno encontramos que varios de los restaurantes en el top 5 de Tripadvisor estaban cerrados o necesitaban aviso de 24 horas ! ! Decidimos probar Café 1 que no estaba en los primeros listados, y nos encantó. La comida era excelente y el servicio era muy atento. Los entrantes de vieira y vientre de cerdo eran deliciosos y las principales de filete y pez monje y mejillones en salsa de coco eran excelentes, y las sucias papas fritas sexy que añadimos eran simplemente más moradas. Incluso cantaron feliz cumpleaños y entregaron helados con una vela encima. Sin duda volveremos.

Excellent Sunday Roast - fantastic service from staff who were extremely helpful when we arrived without a booking. Very good value for money (compared to other places we’ve eaten recently). Impressed by how meal was served on a board with beef and Yorkshire in a bowl with vegetables, extra gravy, horseradish in other dishes. Desserts were delicious too!

Fint ställe och fina rum. Men det bästa av allt.var maten, 10 av 10!!! Så goda och vällagad rätter,även god frukost med olika valmöjligheter. Närhet till flera olika turistattraktioner.

£7 for a pie, however jam packed and delicious! Bought some for home, they tell me they’ll freeze and give you a little leaflet about reheating at home. The problem is… they were eaten way before we got home. They were so good.

Arrived here this evening decided to walk from our B&B to this place as recommended by our hosts. Walking along thought will be closed , empty or not serving food but was wrong it was a lovely place. Service was brilliant food was stunning my only gripe I would have is maybe ask customer how they want steak done although I should have said myself but the mixed grill was delicious, sticky toffee yep 10/10 too !!! Thanks for a great meal and for our first visit to this area would reccommend

dreadful. weak coffee, disinterested service, food completely uninspiring. "hand cut" chips are frozen fries, do mot be fooled. save your cash and eat elsewhere.

Best place to eat in Plockton. The food is OK and staff nice However ithe menu has become more limited and prices are very high. £12 + obligatory service charge for a medium glass of wine! It feels very corporate, won't accept bookings in person - you have to book online

We arrived in Isle of Skye when it was already dark, we were hungry and popped into the first restaurant we saw! Red Skye! What a surprise. Warm inside. Delicious meals. I ordered the beetroot and goats cheese risotto. We had some Scottish gins. The whole evening was just excellent. Service too. Highly recommend

We are a family of five adults We have eaten in the Laruch before both in the bar and restaurant and never been disappointed. This year was still amazing. All five of us had different starters and mains and all were exceptional ! The food and service were so good we ate here twice in a week. Thanks to all the staff for such a great experience. Already looking forward to visiting again next year 😊

Lovely breakfast here just now. Nice warm fire on, beautiful view over the bay. Fast service and great full breakfast. Eggs royale looked awesome to. Definitely reccomend
