Weavers Cafe in Highland

This is a MUST not miss stop to eat. Very friendly service, meal extremely well presented, taste is exceptional! 10:10 from me.

Lovely find on our NC500 trip. We pulled in here to have a spot of lunch, we had fresh wood fired pizza and took a slice of cheese cake away with us. Dog friendly so even better. Thank you

On the way in we asked the chief if it was ok to take a seat at a table - he snarled with a "i suppose so"! ignoring this we sat down and decided we only wanted a quick snack due to his attitude - and was server a lovely latté and cake by such a lovely lady - she looked at us as if to say [just ignore him] we paid and on the way out we thanked the staff and didn't even look in the chiefs way. My advise would be to not talk to the chief with people issues and enjoy a lovely meal as the food looked delicious. You have been warned :)

We were looking for somewhere for lunch and came across the Norse Bakehouse. What an excellent find! We both had focaccia sandwiches which were delicious. It was lovely and cosy inside but they also had a great outside seating area with great view’s which would have been perfect in better weather. Don’t drive past!

Wonderful spot, lovely coffee, amazing focaccia, friendly staff and so so kind when we locked our keys in the van and had to wait for a mechanic! Thank you.

This was a foodie highlight whilst doing the NC500! The building is lovely and cosy and they welcomed us with our dog. There are seats both inside and outside. The garden at the back has amazing views. Food was all amazing, and staff were warm and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more. Prices were about what I would expect for the quality of food and place.

A star on the north coast and a must visit. Gorgeous views over the Kyle from the outside seating. Family run with great service and great chat, the food was fantastic. We had lunch and had to add the sundae to celebrate the sunny day.

Extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered take away pizza and I needed gluten free for my coeliac wife. Absolutely no issues and she had the same choice as me. Both pizzas were excellent (pepperoni and ham/mushroom) as was the lemon cheesecake and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was also gluten free and was moist and rich. Fantastic find.

Really disappointed. Lovely cake and coffee but really annoyed when I pointed the out that the bill was wrong to be told it was right. £13 for coffee and cake was not right. No apology but glowers when error was finally agreed. Toilets have no lights so pee in the dark or take a torch. When we pointed this out, no one bothered to do anything as they knew but were not doing anything about it PS be warned. A small cup of boiling water was £1.50 Avoid.

We visited several times during our week’s holiday near Tongue - really delicious pizza, focaccia, cake, cheesecake and hot chocolate and very friendly service. Luckily we walked it all off exploring the area! Highly recommended.

We are close neighbours of the Norse Bakehouse so go there often for coffee and meals. The food is excellent and good value, and the portion sizes are on the large size (for us, at least!). It is a family owned and run business, and the family are very friendly and wonderful neighbours. Highly recommended!

By far the tastiest and well made pizza I have ever had in my life! My friend said the same :) You must try the pizza here if you can!

Had a first class meal in the Norse Bakehouse when we visited. We all ordered something different of the menu and everyone was delighted with their choices. The pizzas were incredible and easily the best we have had, so fresh and tasty. When it came to the desserts we were also far from disappointed. Not only was the food delicious, the atmosphere in the Norse Bakehouse was lovely and all the staff very welcoming. Sad that we have only just come across this restaurant before the end of the season cause if we had made a visit sooner we would have been more than regulars. Thank you again. X

We got a pizza and cake takeaway for dinner. Both were delicious! The staff were very friendly and it looked like a nice place to also eat in, especially if it was warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the views. A bit of a gem in an area with less choices for food, particularly out of season.

The sandwich was the best I’ve ever eaten! The bread was amazing and the flavours were fantastic. Huge portions! Can fully recommend the no.7 for Beef lovers!

Did not expect to find the best pizza I’ve ever tasted at the top of Scotland but that’s what we found! Thin, crispy and tasty base with popping flavours. Great cocktails too. The service was super friendly. What an amazing place!

Beautiful family run eatery. Great value for wonderful portions of hand crafted food. Treated to lunch of foccacio and desert for set price of 15.00. Enormous portions (some taken home for later) of tasty homemade Italian bread with wide range of fillings followed by choice of yummy deserts! Best take away and restaurant in 100 miles radius! Family owned and run, the price reflects on the quality of high end ingredients used have thoroughly enjoyed every meal over the summer with family and friends the food’s really consistent and the service is fantastic definitely a must when on the nc500 thank you again! This is a must visit when you are in the area. Stunning setting with fantastic food and service. It was a set lunch menu of homemade focaccia sandwiches and homemade desserts. Go hungry as the portions are excellent.

Absolutely amazing pizza! They were to die for and desserts were delicious! Staff were lovely and very kind! Worth wild spot to spot if every going by, we were doing NC500 when we went.

What a find!! Throughly enjoyed our food in a friendly atmosphere. I had fabulous macaroni, very hot and tasty while my husband had the roast beef focaccia sandwich. Very generous portions. Will definitely call again.

We were given a very warm welcome. The restaurant is run by a lovely family. The pizzas are heavenly and the desserts delicious.
