Lovely ice cream with an interesting range of flavours. Shop was (no surprises) very busy, but staff still found time to be pleasant and cheery.

God quality ice cream. I had the vanilla and chocolate, worth visiting. Vanilla made behind the counter fresh. Prices were fair.

Very expensive Went in here for a 99 cone for 2 ended up £9:60 for 2 ice cream cones with 1 flake in each Total rip off for tye amount of ice cream given

I pop in here regular as I live local. Excellent home made ice cream. They use to make their own vanilla but I believe they now make all the flavours. I like the Oreo most. Friendly staff. There can be a decent queue in high season on hot days but don't think that is unusual for an ice cream shop. They also have a lot of sweets like the old fashioned sweets shops. Definitely worth a try if in the area.

Lovely ice cream shop with great homemade ice cream and some really unusual flavours. Even catered for my vegan friends. Very friendly staff Great location to pick up an ice cream and sit on the park bench and enjoy the view over the beach and sea

Lovely homemade ice cream with delicious flavours to choose from! We enjoyed the honeycomb, chocolate, mint choc, and Bakewell .... very creamy and full of flavour. Friendly, patient staff. We took them down to the benches on the green overlooking the harbour .... beautiful spot!

Just been in for yet another visit. Great wee shop. Ice cream is always good at any time of year, and here you get to have a good laugh with awesome staff as well. The world needs more small businesses run like this.

Went to get ice cream and when browsing different types of ice cream on offer I didn’t get the chance to look before being asked then I said I am just having a look and then was asked the same question again within seconds of my reply Customer service was bad very rushed

Live a few villages away and always stop in by when at the coast or out for a drive in area! Never had a bad ice-cream :D It is the best we've ever had and makes a perfect treat! Don't miss it :D

I think I am a bit of a connoisseur of ice cream and the vanilla ice cream in this shop is fab! We also loved the jars of sweeties and I had the raspberry truffles! Worth a visit for sure!

Absolutely beautiful Ice Cream , the best I’ve ever tasted! They also are do lots of sweets for quarters of your favourite . You can’t go to Cullen without going here !!!

Best ice cream I’ve tasted. Been coming to Cullen a long time and it never disappoints. Would be a disaster if it were ever to close.

Open again since the pandemic close down. Went for a long walk and stopped at the halfway point here. As before, great ice cream. Efficient, friendly staff. Took my vanilla double cone to the main square, sat down and watched Cullen life go by.

Stopped here briefly after a Football game. I opted for the 'Toffee Fudge - Single Scoop Cone'. The 'Ice Cream' as a whole was great - thoroughly enjoyed it.I can definitely see myself back here again in the Summer months. Cullen is a picturesque part of Moray and I look forward to visiting again.

A visit to an ice cream shop is a must for us and Cullen is no exception. The variety on offer was good as was the service. Furthermore, there is a good variety of sweets available.

Loads of different flavours, all yummy! Always very busy on a hot day. We were queued out on the street but definitely worth stopping for.

We went in and had a double cone each. The choice of flavours was great, and the quality was excellent.The lady who served us was really friendly and we enjoyed a good laugh. I really recommend this place. Value was appropriate to the quality. £6.60 altogether.

Our grandchildren loved this shop lots different ice cream nice staff who were patient when children couldn't decide on which flavour to have would recommend

Lovely day out with family driving down the coast. No matter how full we are, we always call in to Cullen ice cream shop for their fab homemade vanilla. Heather and her team never fail to make us all welcome and ice cream always lives up to our expectations. Can’t wait to go back

£2.80 for about 2 tablespoons of ice cream served in a plastic cup. Disappointing, some effort in delivering a better customer experience might have made it a little less disappointing.

Literally nowhere better. The ice cream is amazing and they still sell sweets from the jar. This is the ice cream of your dreams.

Lovely ice cream and a wonderful choice. The staff are always happy and smiling and nothing is to much trouble. Also a good choice of sweets and some wonderful wee gifts for the bairns. Just the best place ever.

By far the very best vanilla ice cream in the world.... no other compares with this very creamy and tasty thing of deliciousness... Well worth the 20 odd mile trip!!! Especially loved by our Granddaughter and the hounds....

We’re spoiled living here. Because we get to sample fantastic ice cream whenever we want to! The quality has been the same for years, as has the service. No wonder people come from miles around again and again. If you haven’t done so yet - try it!!

On the main street in Cullen, it offers at least 12 kinds of ice cream and several dozen kinds of candies in big jars. There is a small table outside on the sidewalk in case you want to eat outside.

One of the best ice creams I have had in ages. This is a terrific wee ice cream and sweetie shop which offers a wide range of flavours. We could recommend the rum & raisen and the chocolate.

Regular stop off for ice cream when we’re out at weekend. Ice cream is great but a bit too soft so you have to eat it quick. Otherwise great.

I try the ice-cream everywhere I go - and this is the best I know. Only the vanilla is home-made, so that is what I have here - and it is heavenly!!! The insideof the cafe is clean and functional. You can sit in if you want to, but most people have parked in the nearby village square and go back to their car/lorry to eat their ice-cream. There is a steady stream at times. That is a measure of how good the place is.

Have tried many ice creams, but this is the best, and worth waiting in the queue in the summer. There are different flavours, but just love the plain homemade vanilla

Stopped off here for a break and to top up with some excellent ice cream. Staff a bit dour today. Many choices, all lovely. Then up to the main square, sit down, face the sun and enjoy.

Determined to have an ice cream on our visit to the seaside (even though it was wet and windy) we stopped in here after some Cullen Skink from the cafe up the street. I went for good old vanilla since that is their speciality and I must say it was absolutely fantastic. Hubby was a bit more adventurous with his flavours which he said was also lovely. Good value and the lady serving us was very friendly and helpful.

I have been visiting Cullen Ice Cream Shop for the last 12 years after having been loyal to Portsoy for so long.

Visited on our way through Cullen for an Ice cream. There is a great selection of ice creams and sweets. The coffee “to go” was very nice as well. The lady serving was very friendly and we’ll definitely be visiting again.

3 Little boys and 2 big boys had icecreams and could not have been happier. Lemon meringue, Salted caramel and honeycomb all eaten and not a drop wasted. All boys highly recommend you try one. The lady who serve us was friendly, helpful and kind she even gave the little ones a cloth to wipe their hands once they finished their ice creams. Lovely lady her personality would make you visit again and again.

If staying in holidaying in Cullen or just passing through it is well worth a visit. Not only is the ice cream lovely there is a vast selection of sweets many of whom will bring back memories of your childhood.

This ice-cream is perfect every time! We go here a lot and the ice-cream is always delicious and I've yet to find better. It's homemade - fresh and creamy and there are lots of lovely flavours to choose from. Very busy shop on a warm day but worth the wait.

The Cullen ice cream was always a highlight of my childhood holidays in the town. On a recent visit, I was delighted to find that the ice cream shop is still in business, and that the traditional vanilla ice cream - made according to a secret recipe, etc etc - tastes as good as it ever did. The flavour is distinctive and will have you coming back for more. Yum!

This was ideal after a long walk and then some fish and chips at Lindas. Great selection of flavours to suit everyone. Also had a wide selection of sweets including some classics such as sweet peanuts, cola cubes and pear drops. Certainly worth a visit.

My wife and I had a long walk on the beach and then an ice cream. The home made vanilla is excellent and they also have a big choice of flavours to complement the vanilla. Never go to Cullen without visiting the ice cream shop.

Excellent ice cream and quick service but spoiled by being served in a clear plastic cup instead of a recyclable tub. Just isn’t right .

Amazing options of ice cream - in tubs, cones or wafer cones. Also do whippy ice cream & sweets. Great value for money & the portions have quantity & quality by the bucket load! We never come to Cullen anymore without visiting at least once!!!

Been there, done that and went back again. In the area again in 2019 so will be revisiting because it was so good.

Under new ownership this place is never quite ,I have always had to queque sometimes in the street! This year they have taken down a partition opening the shop up ,the fresh vanilla is unchanched and there is a setection of flavours although the prices have crept up a little

Stopped in Cullen for tea before a concert in the village. We made sure to save room for some delicious Cullen ice cream.

We had a large takeaway of 16 ice creams during a hot July afternoon, whilst carrying out manual labour. The work stopped when the ice creams arrived and we had a most enjoyable break. Excellent ice cream.

Have eaten the home made vanilla ice cream at this shop many times. It is excellent and reasonably priced. they do other tpes of ice cream but their home made is the best.

When the weather is hot hot hot this is the place to get cool cool cool. A great variety of ice creams always available to suit almost every taste. Mind you I am afraid I am a boring vanilla fan and never try any of the other flavours. My family all tell me they are delicious. Keep up the good work.

Amazing ice cream! Every time you go there seems to be more flavours to choose from but always have the traditional favourites. Reasonable price, different tub and cone options.

Popped in on Sunday on the way back to Aberdeen; Used to pop in regularly- but -it's now many years have been. The shop has been all modernised- efficiency through and through. Buy yourself an ice cream- it'll stop you feeling blue.

Still going through a refurb at the shop and still busy. Friendly and efficient staff. The ice cream is still yum yum. On a nice weather day it's relaxing to sit down in the main square, watching the world going by, eating your ice cream.
