The best restaurants in Inverclyde Glasgow and Surrounding

Food was nice but service was awful. Overcharged nearly three times the bill, told it would be refunded but not told it would take 3 to 5 days. Member of staff was just not listening.

We sat at 2 different tables to try to heat up as the door was wedged open and eventually asked if it could be shut which it was.Both tables were rocky. We ordered 2 panini one with chicken and vegetables and the other with Italian sausage.They cost £7 each and were massive so in future one between two is plenty.Not normal panini more like a pizza base doubled over or a flatbread.They tasted lovely however the chicken was ridiculously salty.We also had coffee. The staff were not particularly friendly and there was a young boy and a toddler belonging to the Italian lady running about which is not really acceptable but seemingly happens quite regularly. We did enjoy our food but the chicken should be less salty and the atmosphere better.

We have visited this establishment regularly, now called Carriages But on 2 recent visitss were very disappointed. We had dinner, nothing exciting but one of us had a pasta dish and requested parmisan, the waiter said he would get it, some 10minutes later no parmisan, we repeated the request another 5 minutes and still nothing, the waitress said sorry did not have any when we were paying the bill Surely if you sre serving pasta you should have parmisan. The next lunch we popped in with 2 grandchildren for something small to eat , but were informed could not do food as not booked, there were plenty of empty tables

Ate out of here a few times and usually good, but tonight got a scotch pie out of it along with a panko fish supper, the pie was not edible you couldn’t even cut through with knife, you would have needed a chisel. There was no way the staff member who cooked it or the staff member who wrapped the order up couldn’t have noticed just by looking at it that it was totally overcooked. Wouldn't even give to my dog incase it broke its teeth on it.

Top quality cakes buns and pastries. Ordered a cake for family occasion and was more than delights with the quality service and presentation. Recommended.

Solely disappointing food along with rather unsatisfactory hygiene standards. Went here today with my partner for the first time - To start of our experience at Sally's we were pretty unenthusiastic after placing our order due to the sheer state of the prep table, bread crumbs and food littered along the back station which certainly as you can imagine is not appealing to the eye - it was exceptionally grim. The woman who was running the station looked scunnered with her job as she wore this unwelcoming scowl across her face in the midst of her messy unclean station to top it all off she began smoking a vape In front of us! and over the food ! This was a sight for sore eyes! Totally repulsive and exceedingly unappealing! Couldn't even eat the food went in the bin which was indeed the best place for it - entirely poor performance. I hope this review is taken constructively and measures can be put in place to rectify this behaviour and unsanitary conduct. Deep clean needed and clean as you go process should be implemented. Furthermore here's something else to consider Smile! It's more inviting Having said this, to Conclude.. We won't be back ( can't say we would recommend. agreeably inadvisable )

The hot brownie and ice cream was delicious

Ordered online through Just eat fairly regularly from this location for years, no issues. But for FOUR MONTHS now, I have not had a SINGLE order that is correct from this location, it ruins the meal and just wastes money. I'll ask for something to be toasted it NEVER is which makes the particular order in question disgusting and inedible. I'll order two sandwiches and they completely mix the orders up. They forget to include sauces or dips for certain things. There is ALWAYS something wrong with it, and It's just not acceptable, you really need to fire whoever new you have brought in over the last few months and hire whoever you had before then! Really really puts me off ordering from here, and from now on I just won't be ordering from here at all, really really terrible service.

Shocking. Waited nearly 2 1/2 hours after putting order on Clyde Eats. Called them a few times only to be told they were busy !

Would give less if it was an option. Arrived with my wife and two young grandchildren, given a table and menu. It was just after 5 pm, there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. It was cold inside and after 15 min of being ignored we left, without even being asked if all was well. Absolutely no idea why they are open.
