gave this place a try as heard good things about it, was not disappointed, took a little bit longer to be delivered than I'm used to but was worth the wait, food was very tasty, will definitely be using them again

Honestly not sure which is better, the food or the service?! The food wins every single time! Here you’ll find the very best chicken and sweetcorn soup in the whole of Inverclyde and beyond! And their healthy options are packed full of flavour - absolutely awesome! Better again, the service matches too! The staff are always super friendly and can’t do enough to help - genuinely lovely people! HIGHLY recommend!

Ordered out of chows for family many a time ,,, food great but delivery service now is a total joke ,,, girls I spoke to were lovely about it but I see some reviews are exactly like I got told,,,, sorry owner needs to get this sorted before he losses business,, telling people ure delivery will be 2 hours isn't acceptable

I would give this place a miss, placed an online delivery at half 5 said it would be delivered with in 60 min when I completed my order, i waited until 6:45 pm to see where our food was, called and was told that it was getting cooked and that it would be out in the next delivery and should receive just after 7 pm waited until 7:35 pm and still no food so decided to call again as at this point it has been 2 hours since order ( I do get that places do get busy at the weekend ) to be told that it would be with me with in 10 min, roll on 8:30 pm 3 hours later must I add and food had been delivered, asked why it has took 3 hours for food to be delivered after the order had been placed to be told oh it just depends on where delivery’s are going, food seems like it has been kept in a hot plate since it was tubbed up which might have been just before 7 pm when I was told that it was getting cooked and waiting to be took for delivery and tastes to salty and the chips on all dishes where soggy and also tasted stale like that had been kept somewhere like the hot plate for over an hour, so we can’t even eat any of it, also they forgot to give me my 2 cans of juice that was ordered as well, what a waste of money.

Ordered online at 17.52. Was given a delivery time of 19.30. Called at 19.52 as it hadn’t arrived and the girl apologised and said it was in the next run. Another 35mins later still no order so called to cancel and it still hadn’t left the shop. Over 2.5hrs and still no food. Very poor service.

Ordered online for delivery at 1830 and still no food nearly one hour later. Called a couple of times and keep getting told it’s on its way. Shouldn’t be too long. Shocking service to be honest. Why give an option of a delivery time if your going to be nowhere near that time.

Given the current situation I ordered and collected within the hour. Food was superb, great quality and portions. Lassie was lovely on the desk at collection, offered hand sanitiser after paying! Great service and value

I ordered a takeaway on friday 27th March through their online website. I got an original time then an email to say delayed by 40 mins then a phone call to say actually,I would have to wait 2.5 hours. I understand they are busy because of the corona virus so asked them to refund my money. Still no money cant returned. Cant get through to them and there is nothing on the website to contact them. Terrible service 😒

Really impressed with chows and it takes a lot to impress me. They their own app you can order your food from and a website too. I got the salt and chilli chips with cheese and special fried rice. Omg amazing!! Portions are descent, prices descent. Thumbs up from us chows. Would recommend chows

the food was hot good for the price,was okay could have been more chips which would have been better but I suppose the end project for the meal was ok

Ordered beef curry and chips. The beef was like rubber and the chips was like re-dips from the previous night. Around £6ish for a lousy meal, don't touch the beef or reheated chips. Avoid the beef curry!!

These are the best salt and chilli chips I've had in a long time. Order the large portion and you get a battered chicken ball with a bag of prawn crackers thrown in for good measure.

Wow 20mins short of 3hrs for delivery absolutely shocking waiting time then had to heat in micro not good enough

We visited here on Saturday night,,,was very busy ,,staff were friendly,,,Food was amazing so fresh and hot....well done

Our order was Kung Po Chicken, Chicken Curry, Salt and Chilli Chips...really tasty and there was plenty of chicken...chips were lovely...free prawn crackers and chicken wings...our order didn't take long as they were really busy ( on a Friday tea time) which is always a plus...would definitely go back...

Había oído hablar tanto esta para llevar con gente diciendo que es uno de los mejores de la ciudad, así que creo que mis expectativas fueron bastante alto. En la primera impresión que estaba impecablemente limpio y muy bonito por dentro. El menú parecía atractiva, pero era más más caro que otros en los que he estado. No tuve que esperar demasiado tiempo para mi pedido y estaba caliente. La sal y el Chile patatas fritas eran totalmente carentes de sabor, aunque sabía recocido horno patatas fritas con un poco salada y el pollo ball era realmente pasada y grasienta. También pedimos el XO especial que también sabía a nada - todo lo que podía sabor era la carne, ya que tenía muy poca salsa. La gamba nórdica galletas que vino gratis también tenía nada de sabor. En general, yo estaba muy insatisfecho y yo no recomendaría esta comida para llevar.

Chicken curry from here it was just ok the chilli chips and chilli chicken balls I would definitely recommend over the curry, prawn crackers nice and crunchie.

Really good surprisingly as it's been a few years since we've had anything from here as it had went downhill a number of years ago good selection and some good deals will definitely be trying again soon

Really good clean and well pointed take away with fresh food and excellent menu. Helpful counter staff who guide on choices and are attentive to required choice and needs. They promote being gren and bringing your own bag and also advice on allergies.

Chows could be very good but they dont cook the meals hot enough there chilly chips come with a chicken ball which is good there food is somtimes good most time its cold

Always went here when i visited my auntie now its discusting the rice is over cooked and the curry sauce is tasteless and bearly any only good thing about here is there salt and chilli chips use to be really good
