I got a korma take away last night the food was good but I discovered a total of 7 hairs in my korma which then resulted in a waste of money and food honestly if you’re running a restaurant the least you can do is use correct hygiene when doing so.
Honestly, hands down the best taco in Glasgow. Full of flavour, proper fresh ingredients, and just the right kick o’ spice. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. Every time I go, it hits the spot. If you’ve not tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out!
Disappointing Experience – Good Food, Poor Service
A great restaurant is judged by three key things: service, food quality, and ambiance (along with cleanliness and pricing). Unfortunately, The Italian Kitchen fell short in multiple areas.
We ordered drinks, a starter, and main courses, but everything arrived at almost the same time. When we asked the server to bring the starter later, we were told, "We can't do that." The food itself was good, but the rushed service and lack of flexibility spoiled the whole experience.
For the high prices, we expected better hospitality—instead, we felt like we were dining at a fast-food joint, finishing our meal in just 30 minutes.
Good food isn’t enough when the service fails. Won’t be returning.
If you wish to sit and wait and wait and wait for the gentle but uncaring staff to finish executing whatever topic of conversation they seem to be sharing, or have a normal innocent salad prepared so spicy-hot even a seasoned Indian would gasp for breath, then this is place for you.
Next time, maybe mention in your menu that your innocent salad isn't really so innocent.

Very good place for a family meal. Their beef is not halal but all the chicken burgers and chicken items on the menu are halal. The chicken cheese burger is highly recommended. Children's meal includes an ice cream, which our daughter enjoyed. Staff are all friendly and attentive. Service is fast- it was busy when we went but we didn't have to wait long for our food. Highly recommend 👌.
Excellent place to stop for some Indian food. Staff are friendly and helpful, it's Indian tapas style food and they keep you right about the amount to order. Plenty of choices. Reasonable price.
Esta es una visita obligada cuando en Glasgow, la comida es sabrosa, buena relación calidad-precio, el servicio es genial y el ambiente es zumbante. Sin quejas.
This was a disappointment for my 25th birthday last night. 2 of our party ordered a bottle of wine, which, after asking for numerous times and being told, 'it's just coming' we were eventually told it was sitting at the bar (??) This is not a great standard. Wine should be kept on the table. Anyone could have taken that for themselves or thrown it away if they assumed it was left over. Foccacia bread, granted was ordered late as we forgot, but never appeared despite again asking and being told the same answer as the wine. We ended up just saying to take this off as it hadn't arrived after the main had finished. The food was good quality. However, the portions inconsistent.. when you compare it with competitors who offer a lot bigger portions at the same price point it's not great. When we asked for the bill, we realised that my dad, who was driving, was given an alcoholic beer when he said for a non-alcoholic version. The staff did kindly take this off our bill for us and gave us some cake as an apology, which was again nice of them, but perhaps something for the restaurant to be careful of in future. The staff themselves were friendly it's just the experience overall wasn't what I had hoped given the way people hype this place up.
I hope the restaurant is able to take this feedback on board to improve the experience for others.
