We haven’t been here for a few years so my daughter and I thought we’d give it a go. We decided on the 3 course lunch menu,which to be honest wasn’t very interesting or different The haddock was dry & the chicken in a honey mustard sauce had 0 mustard,disappointing. The paella was really nice though. The head manager did the ‘would you like me to speak to you in Spanish or Glaswegian’ chat line🥱Ye glaswegian will be fine🤔 The young English chap who served us a few times was very pleasant. Considering it was so quiet the service was lacking especially from the 2 head guys,who just seemed to spend a lot of time chatting to each other. The cocktails,a Cosmo and Bellini were dire. The put you on the spot moment of you don’t have to pay the service charge while standing over you as you put in your card is a total disgrace,I didn’t want to but as I was paying for lunch I didn’t want any hassle. For the prices you should expect better & for 2 people to pay an extra 10%???? NEVER AGAIN.

Another great family dinner. Food was full of flavour and the service and wine were flowing freely.

I've been ordering from here since 2019 and it's one of the very few places where the quality and portion sizes remain excellent and consistent. Highly recommend.

I would like to say a massive thank you to all at Cafe Andaluz West End. Not only was the food delicious and surroundings lovely, but the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and were friendly and smiling throughout. We will most definitely be back.

Went for brunch on Saturday with my mum, we had an itison voucher which was great value. The food was delicious and good portions. We both had the Spanish breakfast, orange juice and coffee. Would deffo come back

Been a while since we’ve dined here and sad to say we won’t be back. Food was really disappointing, tasteless. I used to love the calamari but it’s been replaced by cheap strips I would expect to find in a sub standard pub menu.

My first time in this chain for Tapas and was very disappointing. Calamari was palid, soggy and had no seasoning. Prawns were over cooked and the only flavour came from the oil they were served in. My dining companions said paella and vegetarian options were OK. A caramel cheese cake was nicely presented but was just massively sweet and with little taste. Overall quite an expensive meal which was not that great. Customer service was however good. I probably won't return.

Had a lovely tapas meal with my wife. Great value and the staff were very attentive without being "in your face". Will definitely be back! 😁

Have been here a few times and they consistently excel in both food and service. Highly recommend the sangria, patatas bravas, and pinchitos andaluces!! Another plus is they have a ton of gluten free options.

Loved it! Unlike some places where you can feel like an 'Itison or Groupon customer', we received excellent service and delicious food. Will definitely be back, we had a great time and the churros were particularly satisfying! Thank you 😊

Great atmosphere, really well presented restaurant. Food was top quality, one of the best tapas I've had.

We were so looking forward to trying this place out, the surroundings are lovely and clean and the staff were very attentive. Unfortunately the food was not up to much at all. I went for the mushroom tapas dish only to find the stalks from the mushroom through it and not many at that. We had 2 potato dishes, both dishes were bland, unseasoned and the potatoes had not been cooked enough. I feel they are using cheap food and masking it with the sauces. Not for us, we won’t be back which is a shame as it is a lovely place.

Food and service were excellent. Not our first visit but it's been consistent. Especially loved the tagine, black pudding and brownie. It was also clear that the team care about one another which was lovely to see, especially when service/restaurant work can be demanding.

Cracking tapas restaurant in the West end of Glasgow. An excellent choice of food on the menu which made it so hard to choose from but ended up going for the seafood paella which was brilliant. Great atmosphere and the staff were really helpful and attentive. A proper rustic place.

1st time great food and great service will definitely be going back

What a great place! It is located in an alley in a basement and might appear sketchy at first glance, but once inside, it's warm and welcoming. They offer a wonderful assortment of Tapas (small plates) and Paella dishes. About 3 Tapas per person will make a meal, and the Paella dishes can be shared. Reservations are a good idea as the secret appears to be out!

Excellent food, friendly staff.

A very nice place to spend some time with friends. The staff is very attentive. The food has good seasoning. A very busy place. It depends on the day. But I recommend reserving a place. The patatas bravas are not very brave but they have a good flavor.

Love going into the west end for food. Cafe Andaluz never disappoints. Service was / is always great, staff are on the ball, polite. Great service. It's quick, food Is roasting hot when served and very tasty. Kids enjoyed the options on their kid menu. All staff say hello with a smile. I enjoy going here. I recommend Cafe Andaluz.

One of my favourite places for Spanish Tapas. I love the authenticity of the place, Great menu, lots of choice, food is amazing we loved all of our dishes, we shared 3 each and it was loads. Still had space for dessert and coffee. Coffee came with a lovely slice of tablet 👌 staff where lovely. Decent prices for the westend

Delicious breakfast in this characterful restaurant near Gallery of Modern Art. Spanish breakfast was really yummy and coffee excellent. Lovely service and jaunty music made this a memorable visit.

Very good tapas (and choice) with very pleasant waiters. The decor is also really beautiful and warm, I recommend it for those who like tapas!

Had a fantastic meal here for our 9 year wedding anniversary. Had used the city centre restaurant numerous times but loved this one equally as much if not more. Our waitress iris was lovely so attentive but not intrusive The meal was as expected top quality Love the wine and cider selection Sangria is nice and also had a complimentary drink for our anniversary such a nice touch will be back time and time again

4pm, Restaurant half empty, dozens of seats outside and they can't find a table? Not exactly welcoming...

Every single aspect of our meal and evening was 11 out of 10. Probably one of the best meals out I’ve had and I eat out a lot. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Glasgow.

This whole service charge nonsense is a ridiculous money grab and needs to stop, so -1 star. The decor was quite nice and the staff were alright. Overall, a decent experience, let down by silly things.

We sat outside , but inside is very nice as well, food is tapas style, food was great and service was very good… Spanish draft beer was outstanding.

Sat outside on Cresswell lane to have tapas and a glass of Tempranillo. An amazing cap to an exhausting week. The service is always excellent and the food simply divine. The stand are so lovely in this restaurant and made even nicer when you're welcomed as a local. Thank you for the amazing experience and food. Your pollo rabozado con miel is an favourite!

A pre-theatre meal with the 3 tapas deal each, 2 breads, one portion fries and 1 desert only plus drinks came to over £140. I don't think this is a reasonable early dinner when it is small plates. Staff were fantastic and get 100% of the mandatory service charge. Wont be hurrying back.

Great meal as always. Brilliant table next to bar, our waitress was very warm and welcoming. We picked 4 dishes each, which were all mostly lovely. Loved the prawns and loved the lentil and sweet potato salad dish. Calamari was a bit flat but tasted good and I wasn’t so keen on the chicken and pork kebabs - but think that was more to do with my taste and not that there was anything wrong with it. Wine was really good too. Will definitely go back, always guaranteed a good time.

It is a fantastic place for Spanish and Portuguese people to have a little taste of home, so if you love our food, you'll love Cafe Andaluz for sure.

Portion sizes seem to be getting smaller and prices are going up. I always order the calamari and it’s normally a large portion of full calamari rings, when I visited last week the calamari was cut in half into strips (possibly to give the appearance of a bigger portion) and wasn’t as nice as usual. The portion size of the fried fish (used to be cod) which is now haddock is tiny as well, not worth £9.45! Really disappointing as we have been coming to Cafe Andaluz for 10+ years. Our bill was £170 for 4 people and I didn’t feel the quality and portion size reflected this price. Service also wasn’t as good as it is has been before, difficult to order more drinks etc. waiters passing plates over to you very clumsily.

The service is super good, the quality of the food doesn't seem very good to me compared to Spain, expensive food and not very good quality.

Fantastic place but I do not agree with a service charge being added to the bill and it is slightly over priced.

First time in for breakfast and did not dissapoint,as always great food,good portions and value for money,excellent helpfull staff.

What a great place for a meal. Spanish tapas dishes allow you to sample different things and all of our dishes were amazing. Server's were friendly and attentive. I would add that if you have mobility problems, the restaurant is in the basement and there is quite a steep winding staircase down.

Cracking place. The food was beautiful and in arrived very quick. The staff were very helpful and polite. I highly recommend this place. Every time I go its a great experience. I will keep returning. The price is quite good too.

5 for lunch and 5* for lunch. Great choice and service. A real "hidden gem" in Cresswell Lane. Not enough room here to say how good the food was! I will definitely be coming back here, and anyone reading this review should try it.

Went for a meal with 2 friends and had absolutely delish food!! Service was excellent without being intrusive! Would well recommend!!

We went for Valentine's Day dinner and this is our first time here. For a 3 course meal, we had bread and olives which was really good with a variety of bread offered. We ordered 5 tapas - out of which the prawns were the best. The baked aubergine and lamb were good too. The food was delicious with sangria. Finally, we had a brownie for dessert, so yummy but the sorbet was so bad that we couldn't have more than a bite.

AMAZING place, very romantic but also can come here with friends casually. Cosy atmosphere and the demographic cohort of the customers are the type of people you want in a restaurant like this. Amazing authentic Spanish food, quick service and really cheap. The food is fantastic and it feels as if you are in Spain when you are there. I love the decorations in this place. Went here with a friend a wee while ago and it was so good! I’ve been to Cafe Andaluz in Edinburgh and this one is way better. The staff were amazing and attentive and the food was delicious. The decorations were really nice and it was nice and quiet when we went. I highly recommend going here if you’re looking for good Spanish food and tapas!!

This is a fabulous group of tapas restaurants two in Edinburgh, two in Glasgow. This was a pre theatre meal so early hence the atmosphere score. The food is great, good wine too. Excellent selection of tapas and wine and the service was first class. Pre theatre is a choice of three tapas per person. There is an a la varte selection too.

It is the first time I have ordered from a Spanish place different from the one I usually order to give other restaurants the opportunity, but I am afraid it will be the last. The worst croquettes I have ever eaten in my entire life, not even frozen croquettes are as tasteless and hard as these! Overheated, tasteless - I couldn't tell if they were chicken, ham or cooked - and with a thick layer of industrial batter, disgusting! Only four “fuck” (because you can't call them croquettes) and for almost £7! The other dish I ordered from the delivery menu (where there are hardly any dishes, only cheap and tacky things to steal from you) was also tiny. Clearly made without any art or affection and exclusively to fill one's pocket. I will recommend you to all my acquaintances, friends and neighbors, but so that they never order or go. An absolute shame.

First visit. Lovely atmosphere, food exceptional. Another visit, lovely place to visit, great menu selection, even time for a dessert this time. Would recommend anyone to give it a try. Not as expensive as you would have thought for Glasgow West End.

We had lunch here and the food was absolutely fantastic. Every dish was delicious, all served very well. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We will be back!

I was skeptical at first but I ordered the Pollo Rebozado con Miel as well as the Espárragos a la Parrilla, and they were both fantastic. I tried the Croquetas de Jamón y Queso as well, and they were pretty good too. We ordered the Crema Catalana and it was great, like a mix between a Flan and a Creme Brulee. The bathrooms were cramped though, with a door behind a door for some reason.

Everything was great! Whatever you order you’ll know will be good, we did a bit of everything: Patatas Bravas, Croquetas de Jamón y Queso, different chicken and lamb options, 10/10 ⭐️ The service was also great, the dishes came out quickly one after the other.

Be careful when they ask if you need some bread. The bread came with olive and olive oil but they charged them separately (around £8) and did not let us know until get the bill.

Food was good and very well priced! Must say that I was a tiny bit disappointed by the paella but it was still good. Great service and atmosphere and the restaurant looks absolutely lovely.

Found this place by accident when looking for somewhere to eat. We have not been out for ages and did a game of put up a Google map of the west end,shut my eyes and touch the screen. This is where we landed and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Gentleman who greeted us was warm and friendly, the atmosphere as soon as you walk in was buzzing. The seating is comfortable. Staff were over withing minutes to take our drink orders and left us to choose. The menu is not massive, so your head won't be spinning trying to choose, but the descriptions of all the amazing food make the choices tough. We chose a sharing platter to start which was with us quickly. I asked the advice of our server as to how many dishes to choose and she recommended 5 or 6, she was spot on,as there were two of us the amount was perfect, the food was delicious,full of flavour and fresh. All in all an amazing experience and we are already trying to decide what dishes we will have next time, maybe even have the paella.

Really nice atmosphere and food was superb

Not the tapas I was hoping for. Patata bravas all cooked wrong. Padron peppers ( size was ridiculously small - 7 peppers max). Croquettes with jamon nothing special and quite cold! Goat cheese with marmelade really good. Sangria was a disaster and the second drink was served on a glass of water with no ice at all. I didn’t have the strength and patience to argue. Service quite flat but the person who welcomed us was really nice.have asked for white wine recommendation but the waiter had no idea. The place needs a good deep cleaning as you can spot dust on corners and where the put the Christmas decorations.

Locale in stile andaluso nel west end di Glasgow. I piatti sono molto buoni e gli accostamenti tra i sapori non banali. Ottimo l'agnello speziato e il caprino con arancia amara caramellata. Le ragazze al servizio sono sempre sorridenti e rapide. Complimenti. Tornerò senz'altro.

I've been to Café Andaluz several times but this last one has been the occasion that push me to write this review. Lovely food and drinks as always but what made the difference today was the quality of the service provided. The manager Miguel and the lovely waitress Pearl really went above and beyond to accomodate my severe intolerance to black pepper and chilly pepper, both of them provided information and truthful information about the dishes and suggested reasonable changes to the dishes. Thanks to this, I have been able to fully enjoy the dinner and both of them really deserve a round of applause and a big thank you, so, thank you both!

The staff and ambiance is very nice. However, the paella had no taste to it, almost like it had no seasoning. I did not like the food and my partner said “it was the worst paella he ever had”.
