Kastriot's Mediterranean Bar & Grill in Glasgow City

Asked for no onions on the chicken burgers and received onions in them had to go in the bin as we are allergic

Very rarely I leave a rubbish review but halloumi fries were cold and a terrible portion, Gyros boxes same..think portion sizes or cost needs looked at! Massive disappointment.

Went for my birthday. Not too long after I left I am feeling unwell until the next day. I just read another review to depicting my experience. My potato’s were black and hid by sauce. I took some home so looked at it afterwards. I also took home baklava which was two tea spoon sizes in a box (I kid you not) soaked in oil and undercooked hidden by honey. 60 pounds I spent. Service was pleasant boy but smug. Owner looked like hell and smelled like he needed a wash when I walked past him to leave and his behaviour was unfriendly and dreary. Horrible place! I will be reporting this and demanding my money back. Terrible experience -

All of the chicken in the souvlaki’s was like rubber including kids meal. Texture was awful. 2nd time this has happened after giving the benefit of the doubt from previous order. Chips not seasoned like previous orders, salad not prepped as I’ve seen it before. Full parsley stalks included and bread overcooked . Won’t be ordering again.

Greek authentic Greek food, gyros and lamb kleftiko outstanding

Went with my wife. Minestrone soup was bland. Watery and weak. Hot water with carrot and other veg. Chicken breast very over cooked .like plastic, hidden by sauce to hide very poor cooking. Based on this presentation I will dine at other restaurant. In future.

The food was extraordinary, top quality. The staff was very attentive to details. I highly recommend it, and the prices are surprisingly low for the amount of food you get!✨

Food perfect delivery driver was so nice

Estimated delivery changed from 30-40 mins to 1.5 hours. I tried to cancel as soon as it changed (the first time) and said I’d be charged full amount as restaurant had already started preparing however I ordered at 6.45pm and app still said “thank you for your order” as no delivery driver was assigned. Then when the driver was assigned at 8pm it changed to preparing your order, which means I could have just canceled as normal without charge. Second time this has happened with this restaurant.

I didn’t receive any of my order & it was changed to delivered but has not been delivered

Disappointed with the food. Both mains were cold and had to be reheated. The sour dough bread was rubbery as if it had been microwaved, not crusty at all. One of the pieces of bread was the end cut of the loaf. Certainly not up to the usual standard

Gyros were lovely but the Piri piri chips were cold and soggy.

food was not very warm and there were only about 12 chips in the box and no lemon slice so not happy at all

Disgraceful tonight. Food was inedible… Pollo ala crema and the mushroom starter were 80% oil and the burger was just soaking wet. 0/10 never again

I've been meaning to go here for some time. Decided to go with friends for a catch-up. I wasn't disappointed. Decorated for Halloween, very festive. Staff were polite and attentive. Minestrone to start, with some crusty bread, full of flavour and veg, so nice. I also had the asparagus risotto, so tasty. Had a couple alcoholic drinks and a diet coke. We ate off the 2 course set menu and 3 drinks and tip, came to just under £37 each. Such a nice place, lovely staff and great food. I'll be back with hubby next time

Attended for Saturday lunch on this first time visit. Really quiet on our arrival but the restaurant soon filled as the lunchtime patrons came in. My immediate impression was of a clean and tidy environment. Food is excellent: the meatballs were particularly delicious and I really enjoyed my chicken penne pasta. Generous portions made for a hearty lunch. I'll be back.

What an absolute hidden gem of a restaurant. Was our first time trying here & we will 💯 be back for more. Food was amazing ( I am fussy ) the flavour in my risotto was the best I have ever had. My husband & daughter enjoyed their food too. Service was excellent couldn’t do enough for us. Great value for money

Food was cold and I had to put in microwave to reheat it. The cheese burger had very little cheese on it and could not even taste the cheese, so had to add my own cheese. The chips were quite hard. The burger I can say was very tastie.

I had food delivered from Kastriots restaurant. Lamb Kleftiko was rapped in kitchen foil,food was spilled everywhere, came with 3 pieces of very small lamb plus 3/4 half potatoes, over salted for £14.95this disgusting. Rest of order was leaked too, chicken was cold! Worst food ever, not going to order again from this place.

Brilliant food, great staff and cracking value for money

Service was OK, similarly so was the food. Although our Piri Piri Chicken burgers were dry and chewy, as we were expecting them to be moist. The chicken wings were OK though. Sadly we won't be returning.

When placed order delivery was for 10 past 6 to 20npast 6. Food arrived at 7pm after phoning restaurant. They advised it was waiting to be picked up by driver ( delivery time had changed 5 times). When food arrived it was cold. Really disappointed

Four of us were in for my birthday meal food was fantastic nice relaxing atmosphere the service we were given was exceptional highly recommend to go to kastriots we will be back soon

food was poor, sauce plopped in the corner of the box on top salad, very little fries, cold, chicken very dry, inedible ended up binning the lot, nor worth the money I paid for it. will jot order from there again, very disappointed!!

I can't criticise the food your defo not left hungry, not little bits of chicking huge big bits and so tasty. I would say about the boxing of it. they should put the chicken and salad on bottom and chips and pitta on top so they don't get soggy.

Great food, the Chicken and sausage risotto was excellent, as were the wings. Will be back.

Burgers are always amazing. Pizza was a wee bit cold but was still so nice. Portion size is really good, give you a mountain of chips.

Never eaten from here before! Food was roasting hot and delicious! I ordered the asparagus risotto, fries and creamy mushrooms on bread (forget what they are actually called) 🫣 delivery was fast and the delivery man was also very nice. 5⭐️ from me.

ordered gyros box and presentation was like a dogs dinner. miserable on the chicken portion, mostly chips and salad comprised of onion and tomato. not impressed. if it was given to me like this In their restaurant I'd have sent it back.

Always loved Kastriots. Always a favourite however tonight was pretty poor. Food was cold, bland and extremely burnt. Sadly none of meal was eaten.

the only issue was the chips were next to the salad and the juice from the tomatoes had made them cold. The chicken was amazing juicy and very tasty 😋

Had Gyros from here three times now and they have been outstanding every time. The food is beautifully cooked and prepared. All the staff are so pleasant and genuinely welcoming even for the short time I've been in to collect. Hope to have a sit-in meal at some point, seems like a nice atmosphere for it! 😊

Not the best. Gyros was burnt , flys were dry, pizza burnt . We ordered from this place in the past and it was beautiful not sure what went wrong this time. I don’t have the confidence to order from this restaurant in the future

Attended this evening, service was good . However the chicken burger and chips total let down. Bland, chips normal Tesco chips. No crunch to them at all, no salad. Basic of basic. Really disappointed in meal. Would not recommend this particular dish.

My second visit, this time with my daughter for a quick lunch. We both had Chicken Gyros. 1 wrap and 1 plate. Very filling and delicious. Our service was swift and efficient and not hovering around like some places. The bread was nice and soft, the chicken was flavoursome and the salad all seemed fresh. Definitely recommend trying this family owned restaurant

My favourite local eatery. Takeaway is also fab. Been a regular since opening. Steak Tuesdays are amazing value. Lovely place to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion at really reasonable prices for quality meals. The cocktails are also epic.

Great restaurant with attentive staff & a very warm friendly atmosphere. The food is delicious with large portion sizes. The manager even kept it open past close one night to allow us to finish our drinks without rushing. Great service, 5 star from a returning customer 👏🏼 👌🏼

Wife ordered off the lunchtime menu l ordered from the main menu and my portion was very small and over priced (£10 more)for a chicken breast flattened to the point of being wafer thin in a creamy sauce with slices of potato…ordered a starter that came with the main course 🤷🏼‍♂️wasn’t worth the trip out unfortunately.

Food was amazing, highly recommend as a Greek option.

Went on Saturday at 3 pm & it was quite busy with a good atmosphere. We had the bruschetta pomodoro and baked feta to start & were both lovely. For mains we had Kastriots Kleftiko and it was to die for. Our 15 year old had the plated Gyros @ loved it. Would highly recommend & very reasonably priced, will be back soon.

What a find! Visiting Baillieston and looking for a really good evening meal… this time only a take-out, but the restaurant is gorgeous, comfortable and inviting. Even as a take-out customer my welcome was so warm and friendly. And my Souvlaki was delicious 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏼

Items missing from order phoned and restaurant refused to send out the items. Have had meals and various family dinners at the restaurant won’t be going back.

a lovely environment to eat ,i ordered soup of the day it was a cold night so wanted heated up but the soup was tepid defo not hot . so i sent it back to be heated my wife asked one of the waiters to ensure my main meal was warm ,i had the mescles calamari and prawns it was defo hot right out of the microwave the seafood was well overdone and hard the sauce was so thick it coated the muscles and i could hardly see them on the plate won’t be back
