'Babs in Glasgow City

Went with a group of work colleagues, one of them has been a few times and recommended it. Friendly staff, good service, did forget to bring one of our mains but quickly sorted. Shared mezze to start, there were a couple wasn't too keen on. Pitta bread was delicious. Was disappointed with my main, however. Ordered the lamb iskender, and the lamb was so chewy. Wouldn't rush back if I'm honest.

We had a fantastic lunch, everything was excellent! The food was so fresh and tasty, and atmosphere was buzzing. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure. Make sure you book a table.

The food was really nice, fresh and tasty. Prices are really good compared to other restaurants with the same food. The manager Marko has been doing a great job there, really helpful since we came in, all the staff was nice and polite too. I'll definitely go again and send friends!

The venue is absolutely beautiful and the food was really nice, fresh and well portioned. Sensible portions of food that was really satisfying. That said, felt the food was a wee bit overpriced. The service was very polite and friendly but not quite efficient. We had long waits to he served, some dishes weren't served at the same time and we didn't receive our drinks order. very underwhelming set lunch,Chicken Gyro,skinny fries and coke for 13,95 and the service charge took the bill to over 15.the chicken in the gyro was lacking any real taste,the flatbread went soggy very quickly with a poor tzatziki sauce.skinny fries were lovely and hot but the gyro was not hot at all, just disappointing. staff were very friendly but considering how quiet it was the service wasn't exactly attentive,the service charge on the bill kind of annoyed me but it was less than i would have left normally so happily paid it,restaurant and toilets were spotless but will not return as there are so many better kebab options in Glasgow with better food and more value for money.

Had a tasty meal here - great atmosphere - was very busy for a Tuesday night! (Maybe its always busy?!!) We shared some courgette fritters and then I had the gyros and grilled halloumi wrap, my friend had the Chicken wrap. Its very filling but we were hungry and managed to do the food justice! Nice place, friendly staff, decent food but way overpriced. £11 for a starter of five prawns is scandalous, £17 for a main with two tiny skewers of lamb with some bread and salad not much better. Enjoyed the meal but won’t be back.

I went vegetarian for this meal, and had some of the best hummus and pita I’ve ever had. The other vegetarian dish—a wrap—was also tasty and very filling. Highly recommended!

We have visited several times in the last few years and were sorely disappointed today. The meat was the only decent thing we ordered. Falafel were tiny and burnt, pita was soggy and fries were dry/old. £13 for a small burger with absolutely nothing on the side, not even a leaf of lettuce. Extremely overpriced for the slip in quality and cheeky service charge already added to your bill without any sort of comment. Such a shame as we always looked forward to eating there. Will not be back.

Walk in with no booking on a spare of the moment looking for a restaurant near our abode. WOW...! The warm welcome and understanding of my partners medical condition whilst ordering food in this authentic mediterranean restaurant in the heart of theatre land in Glasgow. The food is what I would have expected great flavours, great potions, and well cooked with excellent presentation.. definitely I'd visit again im when Im back in the city.

Ideally I'd like to give it somewhere between average and very good - just "good" would be fine! Nice enough decor, decent staff and very nice food - although my Shawarma burger as a main was just that, not fries or anything to go with it, which seemed odd. One thing to note is that the toilets are downstairs down a windy metal staircase. Accessibility issues there, so I don't know if they have anything on the kitchen level for those unable to get down. (And there are steps up to the level with the kitchen, so no use for wheelchairs.)

Extremely small portions for the price. Good menu range however had the Gyros wrap and it was tiny, as well as the chips with garlic and parmesan for £5.50 there was hardly any. The Halloumi in the wrap was extremely burnt and had to take it back. Was charged wrong on the bill and overall not a great experience. Too overpriced and small portions.

What’s a shame, used to be so good but was very mediocre. Went with a friend and got the lunch deal of main and side of fries and soft drink for £13. I ordered the vegan gyros, was served chicken gyros then had to wait 10/15 mins for mine to be made while my friend ate hers alone. Don’t know what is going on but I’ve been served meat multiple times this year by mistake. The gyros was underwhelming, chicken was This Isn’t which isn’t great to start with but no marinade or any kind of flavour. Rest of the gyros wasn’t much better, pitta was decent but salad bland and the sauce - not even sure what it was, vegan tzatziki? Humus? My friend said her souvlaki was ok but agreed it’s not as good as before. And nothing off the bill for the meat mix up. I won’t be rushing back

Disappointing food. Felt more like takeaway food & very small portions. Seems like the food has gone down hill since we last visited a year ago! What happened! Staff are still very nice & attentive.

Food and, particularly, presentation was so much worse than when I’d visited a couple years back. Small portions thrown together with little effort. Maybe they had an off night, but a real shame compared to what it used to be.
