Buck's Bar in Glasgow City

I've been to Bucks Bar a few times now, and it never disappoints! The food is always fantastic, the portion sizes are generous, and the staff are accommodating. It can get quite loud, though, so if you're sensitive to noise, it's something to keep in mind. Recommend booking before you go, as it can be busy. Overall, it's a great spot for a delicious meal and a lively atmosphere!

Great food, excellent service, fab atmosphere- we had such a great time and meal at Bucks Bar, they have a great selection on both food and drinks menus, only downside to our visit was that they were out of Guinness (my boyfriends preferred drink) but they had such a good selection he could get something else he also enjoyed - Will definitely be back!

First time here. We have been on time for our booking, been asked to wait at the bar for about 10 minutes to get our booked table. We had to wait for meals for quite a while too and the music was a little bit louder but still ok. In the end, the food (wings) we ordered was delicious and we all enjoyed it very well and that is the reason why I think I'll be coming back ;)

We were on a wee date night out & were served by the lovely Georgia 🥰 so nice to talk to, made sure my milkshake was vegan & when I said I struggle with normal milk as it can give me a stomach ache, they went to check that the one I picked was vegan or not and apologised when it wasn’t which totally wasn’t her fault - it was the Mint Areo which makes sense! - but in their own words said ‘I don’t want you to get a sore stomach’ which was really sweet and caring so I went for a vanilla one instead - I loved everything about the experience & I had a good few conversations with Georgia about their cool style and we talked about my nails too as they complimented them which was so nice! The food was amazing & the experience was lovely overall - Georgia is a credit to your store! Highest possible praise I could give anyone :)

Went here on a week night the food was delicious loved the vibe and the tunes. Toilets weren't great but it hasn't put me off another visit. Got cauliflower bites and chicken strips lovely.

Fantastic food all well prepared chicken dishes. Chicken wings superb. £3 selected drinks with mixer. Book a table to avoid waiting but will be back.

My son who is 14 went with 4 of his friends tonight and a service charge of 10% was added to their bill, think this is highly inappropriate for a group of children who are out with their friends and too young and embarrassed to challenge this

Went to Bucks Bar with a friend and wow! The food is absolutely delicious and you honestly get a lot for your money! Got the Buck Mac burger and the flavor was crazy good and the sauce was just like the Big Mac sauce. Will definitely be going back!

I have eaten at Buck's in Edinburgh (both restaurants) may times and tried out West Regent Street a couple of weeks back. Their food is just as brilliant. Points for Quality Control! Unfortunately, they were changing the gas for the beer lines, so instead of the draft beer which I had ordered, they were kind enough to give me a complimentary bottle of beer. Half way through my lunch, my ordered draft beer was unexpectedly delivered to my table, and surprisingly, this was also given gratis, even though I questioned why it was not included on my bill and did offer to pay. That is really first class customer service, which you don't often see these days. All Staff were really lovely, with good vibes! I didn't quite finish my lunch (2 rounds of HUGE chicken wings), and they were also very happy to box up the leftovers for me, which I gave to a homeless person (he was very happy with the gesture). All round, you can not fault Buck's and I would recommend anyone to eat here. Thanks Buck's: the quality of your staff (including in Edinburgh) are testament to the greatness of your food and brand.

Bucks bar is our favourite place for a Chicken burger. Cracking place with honestly, the best food I can think of. Never had anything other than awesome food, nice staff and an amazing setting. Looking forward to our next visit.

Bucks bar has got to be the best place for burgers in Glasgow. I’ve been here several times and I’m always excited when I’m able to get a table booked and I look forward to the dinner for weeks. The portions are huge and you get good value for money in my opinion. It is all so delicious. The herb mayo is sooo good. Delicious. I rarely find sauces I like as I’m picky. The chicken is full of flavour and is huge! Sticks out the bun. The bread is fluffy and amazing too. I have had the waffle dessert too before and it wa delicious too. The only thing about this place is it can be quite loud and it is hard to get a table. Even when booking in advance as this place is so popular (not a bad thing!). These things are expected and this does not take away anything from my experience. Due to this place being busy, you don’t get a long time to sit afterwards. That would be my only complaint but I love the food so much that I wouldn’t let that ruin it for me. Just make sure you tell them you want a dessert straight away (if you have room) as there is no time for a breather before eating again as I like to do this. Coming back again in January for my Birthday hopefully as I love this place so much.

Talk about a fun place to eat with an incredible atmosphere and an absolute stellar staff. We just got back from our dining experience and I couldn’t get to my tablet fast enough to write this review. My wife and I arrived at 7:15 and we were the first out of a party of 10. We were told because we hadn’t made a reservation, that we probably would get our table around 8:30. The host was extremely friendly and offered us a table for 2 while we waited for our friends to arrive where we could order a starter and some drinks, all reasonably priced. Our 1st server, Chris, was next level polite, kind and even offered a recommendation to his favorite record store when he saw me come in with vinyl records I had just purchased. The drinks he made were delicious (espresso martini to start off). When the rest of our party arrived, the host was able to get us tables well before our 8:30 time slot. Our food was very tasty, Buffalo chicken wings, hot BBQ chicken sandwich, popcorn chicken were pretty good portion sizes. And while our full intentions were to explore more pubs in the area after dinner, it was the way the staff treated us from start to finish, that made our decision easy to close out the establishment. The only thing I wish I did was to get our host, server for dinner and our bartenders names so they also could receive recognition. Chris, you were a legend tonight. Truly appreciate everything you and the rest of Buck’s Bar staff did for us. If you are looking for a great time out, trust me, Buck’s Bar is your spot!!!

This is just an absolute staple for food in Glasgow. Been multiple times and never had anything other than a flawless experience. The staff are friendly, attentive and always make sure you have the best experience possible. The booths allow for enough privacy in a busy place. (Booking is always essential) If you do have to wait at the bar you can get bottled beers or spirit and mixers for £3. Then there's the food. The menu isn't hugely varied, which is fine. They know what they're good at and stick to it. Every dish and accompaniment I've tried has been just perfect. Generous portion sizes mean that you'll probably get to use their nicely branded takeaway boxes. This is all capped off by a great soundtrack. Whether it's the live music. which is great for getting you ready for a night out at the weekend or the piped in music, set at a good volume for you to enjoy If you want to or still carry on your conversation. Basically, If you like chicken try it. I bet you, you'll keep coming back.

First time coming coming to Buck's bar and had no preconceived idea on what to expect. Nice warm welcome found us a table even though we had not reserved. Food was out really quickly and nice and hot. Burger was lovely and the gravy was next level.

Great food, brilliant tunes and good service. Hefty portions so a decent price for what you get, only thing that could improve it is if they’d bake the top of the mac & cheese to make it crispy, the flavour was delicious though. They give you huge pots of dip which is a bonus.

Everything at this spot is delicious, and the staff is very friendly! Gets busy on the weekends and a very popular spot. Highly recommend the shakes and waffles. Would come back anytime!

Husband and I went here for lunch on the 18th October. The food is absolutely delicious. I recommend booking a table in advance to guarantee getting a table (we walked in before the lunchtime crowd came in after 12 noon) Highly recommend.

La hamburguesa de pollo picante es una de las favoritas de mis socios. Más bien una comida dulce, ya que es bastante pesado... Algo para complacer.

Después de ver varias veces en una página de celíacos de Escocia, sabíamos que teníamos que intentarlo! Abundancia de ofertas sin gluten. Gran ambiente, que admite perros, personal de camarero alegre y, en general, una visita exitosa. Tuvimos la oferta de almuerzo de comida y una bebida y las porciones eran enormes. ¡Definitivamente pasa hambre!

AMAZING food! The Buck mac is incredible! Excellent amount of fries . Very good beers and cocktails. We tried the classic mojito : wonderful. The service is EXCELLENT! They really do a good job. Honestly one of the best quality of service that I’ve experienced. Congrats guys!

Great place to eat for a more relaxed evening meal, but with a more authentic atmosphere and personal service than the bigger chains in the city center. The service was friendly and we were lucky to be able to find a seat without booking, though the restaurant soon became busy whilst we were eating. The menu has great vegetarian and vegan options which was pleasantly surprising for an American-style burger bar, as many restaurants, especially chains, always seem to put little effort into crafting non-meat options. The portions were huge, the meal was definitely worth the money. We ordered the MexiCheese burger and the Hot Cock (veg.) burger and two hard milkshakes which were great.

First time visit as usually it's so hard to get booked but I can see why. Fantastic food, great music (Classic rock), wonderful service. Got the Salt n Pepper chicken burger and a milkshake and it was awesome. Family all loved it as well so it's deffo a 5 from us.

It was recommended by friends that we reserve a table due to the popularity of this establishment. Upon arrival, we were glad we did so because the restaurant was busy at 7pm on a midweek evening. The food portions were generous, tasty and good value for this day and age. The staff were also friendly and efficient. The music was loud but not unbearably so. Both vegetarian and vegan options are on the menu. I would happily eat here again.

Fabulous food as always and huge portions, I got the cowboy chicken burger and my friend got the macaroni waffle. Both absolutely delicious, only issue if any, was the music was quite loud so found it difficult to have a conversation. Service was outstanding as usual.

I had an amazing experience at Buck's bar. The food is plentiful and delicious. The chicken and waffles in particular were fantastic. The place is decorated like a proper American bar, they really nailed the interior design. The staff are really kind and attentive. The prices are on the steep side but when you take into account the quality of the food and the setting I think it's worth it. I really haven't got a bad word to say about the place; I can't wait to return!

We went to the Buck's Bar located on West Regent Street in the city centre. Pre booking a table is highly advised as it's a very busy place, especially at the weekends. Our table was already available for us so we were taken to the table and got some refreshments to start with. The food is mostly chicken, waffles and chicken burgers with a good selection of sides to choose from. The service was great and our waitress was really polite and helpful. A great place for American style food with generous portions, highly recommended if you have tried this place before.

Had delivery for Saturday treat. Had 3 piece chicken and hubby had burger. Also ordered hand cut chips and blue cheese sauce. All food needed a heat up in microwave. Chips were good. Blue cheese sauce ok but could be more blue cheese tasty. Chicken lovely,,, BUT, Soooo salty. This spoilt the meal entirely. Why do they have to use so much salt? So very bad for you. We won’t be ordering again because of this.

Fantastic place with a great vibe and friendly staff. Popped in while staying the night in Glasgow after reading some reviews, the food did not disappoint, had some wings and chicken burger. Both excellent, washed down with a couple of imported German beers. The menu is mouthwatering and drinks and cocktails looked awesome too!

Another amazing hidden gem in Glasgow. Was up for work and went with a colleague and if you didn't know where it was you could walk past. So glad she took me here as food was amazing and so much of it She us gluten intolerant, and they have a whole separate menu for her and so much choice. I had tge buttermilk chicken in southern fried bread crumbs with salt and pepper fries. All I can say is food was amazing and great service and atmosphere, even for a Tuesday night. If you're in Glasgow and want a chilled atmosphere, with amazing food and service, this is for you. And if you like spice try their own hot sauce and it deff is HOT 🔥

We can't comment on the food because we could not get a table as it is that popular, so I recommend a reservation. After the appalling greeting from the Meat Bar over the road Buck's Bar was busy with no tables. The chap that greeted us was so nice, he tried to get us a seat etc. but food would then be over an hour and I was starving. He was so polite and apologetic he was lovely. We will be back at some point Buck's Bar because that Haggis Burger has my name on it.

The food here was to DIE for, i got the nashville hot chicken and it was incredible, while my partner got the special haggis burger, which was gigantic, but also delicious, they’ve figured out how to give you quality AND quantity here, all at a reasonable price!!

Very nice pub-ey atmosphere with rock music and neon lights. The buttermilk fried chicken burgers are amazing, juicy and tasty. Offers also a wide selection of gluten free options (gf stuff is fried in a separate fryer)
