Burger was absolutely burnt to a crisp, chicken was not fresh and all food was cold ..

An absolute rip-off. A tiny, tasteless burger, freezer chips and gravy x 2 for £55. Not to mention when you sit at a table in the middle you’re a total inconvenience to the waiting staff. Won’t be back.

If you’re looking for a top-tier burger experience, this place is the spot! I had the Marky Mark, and let me tell you—absolute perfection. The flavors were on point, the patty was juicy, and the toppings were balanced to perfection. Every bite was an explosion of taste, and the quality of ingredients was undeniable. The bun? Soft but sturdy. The sauce? Unreal. The overall experience? Easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. On top of that, the service was fast, and the vibe of the place was just right—cool, welcoming, and perfect for a casual meal or a burger feast. If you’re a burger lover, you need to try this spot. Walked in, unsure of what awaited, boy oh boy it was good!!! Got the wolf burger and bacon fries, was delicious, don’t go next door to the chain, this is where it’s at!

This used to be some if the best burgers in Glasgow. Last I went, this past weekend (February 2025) the burger was very fatty, badly cooked and all in all extremely bad quality. I make a better burger at home and I'm horrendous at cooking burgers. They also automatically added a service charge which I thought was cheeky considering the party size and service. Would absolutely NOT recommend this place in 2025.

So glad we came here instead of next door due to their terrible policies. The meat in the burgers was excellent quality, the service was great and the entire dining experience was ideal. The 28oz vanilla milkshake is a must have!!

The food was piping hot and lovely, and the courier was really lovely and apologetic when he got a bit lost (my building is hard to find).

Really nice place, good burgers and friendly staff. The lunch menu is really affordable and the food is really nice. Some things were a bit salty but can do. The staff was very friendly and nice and it’s a nice place to chill as well.

God I wish I'd taken a photo but the Luther Burger was so good it was eaten before I had a chance! We have visited the previous location many times and I'm pleased to say that BmB has not missed a step. If anything, the quality service has only got better. The greeter/assistant manager who seated us was genuine and warm. Our server, Harpreet, could not have been better. He read the table perfectly with a personal touch that took our order (from two clearly hungry people) quickly and then engaged on a personal level at the right time. He made a truly outstanding meal even better. The. Best. Burger. In. Glasgow. Accept no substitutes.

Wow! Server Harpreet made some amazing recommendations for a bmb virgin, and even talked me into coming back very soon for his other favourite on the menu.

Burger was Amazing and that is what you should expect when paying more than £10 for tiny burger. Quantity wise you need 4 to be full.

I rave about this place every time I come to Glasgow for work. The other reviews can tell you everything you need to know about how good the burgers are. However, it's the dietary requirements that I love about this place The menu can be a bit limiting for vegan and veggie folk, however for gluten free people it's burger heaven. I will say I went with both a veggie and a vegan and they both really enjoyed their burgers. I have a full menu to choose from, which is frankly unheard of. Not only that but our server was extremely helpful and after I'd mentioned that I'm celiac, put my mind completely at ease by outlining every single measure the kitchens had in place to ensure minimal cross contamination. It's things like that that give you peace of mind and allow to you relax and enjoy your dinner. As a final point I have no idea where they get their gluten free buns from but I completely understand if it's a heavily guarded secret because they are delicious. Soft, squishy, *they hold together like real bread*?????? Magical. I love food and being celiac I'm often disappointed with meals out so when I'm singing praises you know it's good. Also, get the wolf burger, it's delicious.

First time the burger has been notificably different from eating there - onion not crispy, bacon tough with soft stringy fat. Side was fine though.

Really enjoyed the food here - good blend of sweet and savoury - when I visit again I will prob remove slow onions as it was just a little too sweet for me - one of the better burger places I have eaten at.. and really enjoyed the pastrami poutine

I came in here today for a solo lunch between uni classes. Service was great everyone was friendly especially the lovely girl who served me! Lunch deal was great, I did get a bigger drink and side but with the fabulous service I didn't mind paying extra. I got the black & blue burger which was phenomenal (would recommend!) With a side of tater tots which were full of flavour. I was a bit rushed to get out as I had to run to not miss my next class, but when I asked for the bill it was brought straight away. Would absolutely come again!

Enjoyed a pre-concert meal. Very attentive staff. It was quieter as it was a Tuesday and early evening but we have been a number of times and will return.

Important note: All dishes contain alcoholic beverages or pork ** - according to what is stated on the menu and confirmed by the restaurant worker. Only chicken burgers can be eaten as a halal meal.

Visited on 7/01/2024 with my husband for lunch. This is our 2nd visit in about 5 months because the lunch menu for £12.95 is great value. The picture of the BBQ Brisket cheese toastie on the board outside is actually what you get, no fake pictures here. Kim (our server) took us to a booth and gave us the menu's and took our drinks order. We ordered the bbq brisket beef Cheese Toastie (for me) with included sides of tater tots and spicy mayo and my husband ordered the philly cheeseburger also with a side of tater tots included. From my last review here I discovered that we had the same items last time but we had the opposite order. Have to say that the food is still great, great taste, great friendly service and great value for money (especially the lunch menu)... Will return again.

Pretty surprised how this place has such a high score. Overpriced burgers (cheap buns with super thin patty and some basic friends with some bacon slapped on - £25!). Staff were super slow. Would get a 3 star if the prices were halved

Overpriced. Aiming for high quality with the price shame the food wasn't high quality and up to the price tag. I only went as i used to like brgr but with it shutting i thought this may fill the gap, wrong! Thin over cooked and over priced burgers were what i good. Never again

Everything was fine. The burgers are delicious, but it’s not common that you have to order a side dish separately. That is, if you order a burger, there will only be a burger. I took a burger with mushrooms and truffle sauce, the burger was delicious, but I didn’t feel the taste of truffle. But, again, the burger was delicious. Potatoes and other side dishes must be taken separately. Well, this didn’t affect the taste of the burgers - so everything is fine. The cocktails were delicious. The people who work are nice. The only thing in the restrooms was not super clean.

Nice and quiet place for a couple of a bunch of friends who want to have out of this world burgers. The special menu burgers are amazing. Went with the work team and enjoyed every bit of it.

Second time we’ve had burgers from here and they are phenomenal! Bacon perfectly crispy, burgers well cooked and juicy. They’re expensive but so amazingly tasty it doesn’t matter.

Bread Meats Bread has become a weekly trip for me and my mum - the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is gorgeous. The quality is consistent, and we have tried several items from the menu. The Wolf Burger along with maple bacon topped fries is to die for.

Super cute restaurant, with wonderful service, and the food is superb!!! The buffalo chicken poutine is some of the best we’ve had and we’ve had them from all over the North of the US and Canada! The burger was also one of the best I’ve had, you can tell it’s local, fresh ingredients! Would highly recommend!!

Amazing food even for a take away order I was amazed how good it still was. Definitely will be eating here again on this trip 😅. The Chicken truffle shuffle and garlic Parmesan fries (small) are so good! The portions are great! I was shocked usually when it says “small portion” then it’s like micro portioning. The Chicken Truffle Sandwich was flavorful and amazingly delicious!!

A top rate burger joint. We got in before the lunch deal ended so 2 burgers with sides and a drink was less than £28. The BMB smash burger with fried egg and hash brown was delicious. The spicy mayo was pretty hot but I loved it. We didn't stay for dessert but I'm sure it was good too. When in Glasgow, check it out. Way better value than TGI's or Five Guys.

Arrived in Glasgow early for a gig so decided to try the lunch menu here (conveniently runs till 4.30 pm). Quality and quantity of food very good value for the price. All of the staff were very welcoming and a huge thank you to my server, Kate F. for making sure my food was exactly as I wanted, and for generally being absolutely lovely!

Excellent burger experience in the heart of Glasgow. They let me charge my phone and gave me suggestions on how to kill an hour in town. Oh, and the burger was great!

Clean restaurant, the decor is cute and contemporary, the food is good, but what makes this place five stars was the service. We were a party of 12 and we're accommodated with our limited mobility needs. They helped our party sit together, answered all of our questions and anticipated needs. We're tourist and didn't feel judged, im glad scotland culture accepts tips, they deserve all and more! We were assisted by a blonde lady with glasses and a man with long hair in a bun and western art design tattoos. Didnt get their names sadly! Hopefully management knows who we're talking about

This is my second visit, and I can’t get enough of the same order. The burger is bursting with flavors, especially the garlic, which I absolutely love. As a halloumi fan, this burger has everything I enjoy. The parmesan chips are incredible—truly takes me to another world. Highly recommend trying this restaurant. The customer service was excellent and friendly.

They really deserve the tip! Wonderfull deserts. We tried Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake : Soooo good! This is the third time we go there. This place never disappoint us!

As fans of plant-based dining, we were pleased to see that Bread Meats Bread offers a solid selection of vegan burgers. One highlight was their use of Moving Mountains burgers, which are always a satisfying choice for their texture and taste. However, while the patty itself was enjoyable, the rest of the ingredients in the burger didn’t quite live up to expectations. We also tried the vegan Poutine fries with vegan gravy and cheese, which sounded promising but ended up being a bit underwhelming in terms of taste and texture. Despite these small letdowns, we still had an overall pleasant meal. The atmosphere and service were very good.

This is my 2nd visit to Bread Meats Bread in Glasgow, and it was just as beautiful as my first! As soon as you step in, the smell is nostalgic and gave me American diner vibes from growing up as a kid… The staff were all friendly, kind, and attentive. The service was quick and food arrived hot. I went for the Luther Burger again 😍 made with the finest grass-fed beef, it was just as delicious as the first time around. My Sister went for the Cheesy M&M plant based burger. It was delicious, and light! We went for a side of small poutine, it was nice but felt the fries could have been cooked a little more thoroughly. Everything else tasted homemade but the fries tasted more like frozen chips. That didn’t stop me devouring them… I had the strawberry milkshake too… it was awesome! There’s a small optional service charge added, which I’m always happy to support especially when food & service is so good, and it’s nice to see that it is shared out amongst all those working at the restaurant. I love this place, and that it is family owned and supporting local family businesses is what I love best 🫶 Keep up the great work Bread Meats Bread, look forward to seeing you again in the near future 💜

The food was tasty, the portion sizes are little expensive for the size you get served, but the service was unbeatable. Watch out for the service charge, as I was not aware of this when ordering, but as a past hospitality worker, don't mind helping other hospitality staff out. Great decor and clean as well.

Best burger I’ve had in the UK! Coming from the US, we have a lot of great burger spots but this was a great burger. 10/10 would come again whenever we come back to Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Nice burger spot with a huge choice of different burger including six vegan ones. Unfortunately, my Challoumi Burger was slightly disappointing: the sauce was only on one side so the first half was super dry while the other was a garlic-mayo explosion (the good kind!), the chicken itself was also dry and didn’t taste freshly prepared. The vegan burger (something with fig) was really really delicious while the tomato salad was maybe a bit too small. Overall, it was a nice dinner but I’m not entirely sure if I would come back.

Small Scottish chain, mainly in Glasgow but I hope they expand all over. If you're in Glasgow and looking for a bite to eat, then I'd definitely recommend Bread Meats Bread!!!
