Adam's Diner - Pollokshields in Glasgow City

Ordered food online and paid. Diner then phoned to say they don't have the item in stock and they refused to cancel my order!? I couldn't cancer it as they had ACCEPTED the order and a driver was allocated. The guy on the phone became quite rude

Adams Diner contact phone number does NOT work. So you can't call them. They don't even reply to there live chat. The food is nice but if something goes wrong with your order then good luck. Horrible service.

Edit a year later: quality has gone downhill for sure. Cheeseburger was basically like something from mcdonalds. Katsu fries were average. Service was still very friendly. Wouldn't come again though. Great food, good prices and friendly service from Frankie 👍

Surprisingly empty when we were there but service, food, prices and decor were excellent, maybe it's not that well known but definitely a hidden gem, we'll be back for sure 😉

Always buy the nashville chicken burger from them but this time it was disgusting. Like they didn’t want to cook and just put together the leftovers. The chicken was uncooked and smelly. The coating was so hard and weirdly chewy. The smash burger smelled funny and was so dry. Money and time wasted plus the bad mood.

£12 for 2 milkshakes we couldn’t drink because they come with 1mm thin paper straws. Could have provided us with slush straws at least. Never again.

Me and my partner came tonight and honestly can say the food was lovely even though it was just us 2 dining it was still lovely experience we enjoyed the food decent prices and even got a desert to take home with overall first experience was a success and we will be back to try more off the menu and to the guy on floor brilliant service easy and chill definitely recommend trying

I went in to get a milkshake, there was bald headed who acted very weird and he gave me a milkshake which I was not even able to drink it was so thick and he didnt have a bit of respect too. My hands were freezing bcz of the cold shake, not even ready to give a tissue. Its a overated place wasted my money. Not even worth. I will never go there for free food.

The food here is amazing, and so is the service. The shakes had a really rich taste just like the old days, ever since certain fast food places have arrived the milkshakes did not have the same creamy, rich taste. In my opinion the milkshakes at Adam’s are a lot superior to other places.

I’ve ordered several times. It’s a cut above the usual “kebab shop masquerading as something else” that you get in Glasgow. The food is largely excellent. One notable exception, however, that was enough to knock off a star for me, is the mac and cheese; it’s horrible. Think super salty microwaved school dinner. Steer clear of that.

Visited this place this afternoon with my family. Had seen mentions of it on social media so thought I'd stop in before heading back to Ireland. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, the server polite and friendly. Had the nashville wrap, churros and cookie dough. Each item was very tasty, service was quick and prompt. I visit Glasgow regularly and will definitely be back to have a larger meal next time.

We were visiting the nearby Tramway art centre and were attracted to this place by the huge Cadillac parked outside! A great 50's style American diner with traditional burgers, shakes and waffle choices as well as burritos and wraps. Prices were very reasonable, big booths that can accommodate large groups of friends. Friendly customer service, we'll definitely be back and this place deserves to be busier!

My experience with this restaurant was very good, the meat is fresh and the chicken burger is delicious, worth a visit again 👍🏼

The staffs are very welcoming and the food come fast. we order butter milk chicken burger and Nashville goujons both are pretty good, the burger was perfectly fried and taste excellent the goujons a little bit too sour to our taste but overall still tasty should try if you passing by.

We had burgers and food was nice. Person on till was very nice and welcoming. They charge 50p for cheese in a cheese burger!!! Change the name if your going to charge for cheese in a CHEESE burger.

I haven’t eaten decent American food since I moved to the UK five years ago— this is an absolutely out of this world place, with a great atmosphere and phenomenal grub at affordable prices. I’m sure it’ll be an instant staple in the area— you have to try the dynamite shrimp and curly fries and blue raspberry slushy and chilli cheese dogs!

Cracking bit of grub. Went for lunch here. Service was quick and the food was class. All 4 of us eat every last bite and finished off with some milkshakes and churros. We'll be back next time we're in Glasgow.

Very slow service, ordered a shake and it looked like an ice cream, had to wait 15 mins for 2 shakes and then another 20 mins for it to melt as there was no other way to drink that 👎🏼

Ordered lunch from here and it never showed up, called the diner to be told it’s nothing to do with them I have to contact Deliveroo, I placed the order with the diner, I wasn’t even offered a replacement or a gesture of good will for waiting nearly an hr for the delivery that never showed up, Not happy as this was the first time trying here and won’t be back, I would stay clear if your wanting your lunch to turn up/ Management being more helpful.

Ate from here last Wednesday and it’s had me upside down since then. Horrible meat. Horrible service. I would highly recommend that no one goes here I’ve had food poisoning now for almost a week

Hasn't been open very long, kept very clean, the menu has a good selection. A very nice ice cream selection. The prices are very reasonable, where can you get a hot dog for £2.95 in a sit in diner. The young man who served us was very helpful. Parking might be a bit tricky as it's on a main road but with a little effort it's possible. When we visited the diner they still hadn't their coffee machine, but we'll be back . Prices are up since my last visit, wrap is up from £5 to £ 7.50 from five pounds that's a 50% increase WOW .

Burger was amazing !!!! As it was my first visiting Adams. Portion of the meal is quiet good and nice sitting area at the place but only disappointed I had was cold fries and it took a while to get the food. If you are visiting I will recommend exploring the menu as they have quiet to choose from but order ahead.

Discovered this place just walking past and it got our attention. Cool decor, 50s American diner style! menu with burgers, nachos, burritos, plus lots of cakes at the counter. The burgers are pretty good! Milkshakes are tasty too.

Ordered Adam's headline steak and mash through Uber Eats. Cancelled ten minutes after I ordered. New, exciting, Southside Glasgow. Very poor. Sort your menu out if you can't deliver it.

We were previously Adam loyalists, however when we went to order we were shocked to see a significant increase in price. The burger we loved went from £9 something to £14 then make a meal and change to curly fries your 17.50 for a takeaway meal! But tonight we were willing to part way with this for the sake of a descent burger. Meal arrived promptly however it came with no curly fries which we paid an extra £1.50 for. When we contacted adams they said they knew they had none but thought it was a gesture of gratitude to send us normal fries anyways. We questioned why we were not informed of this but we’re redirected to just eat to register our complaint there. We are really disappointed as we will loved adams but with the price increase and customer service we received tonight we will not be back.

I am going to Adams last almost 2 years and had found difference initially from other typical fast food shop. Though some occasion they have given me wrong, but I ignored. Today after ordering my food to take away, noticed that curly fries and Mexicana burger was dumped in a polythin bag where can see the condensation from outside. once I open in the front counter, boy telling me that someone packed from the bottom floor and he cannot do anything. Burger and fries crisp spoiled. Spending money and getting worse food, does not make any sense. Moreover noticed recently front desk performance deteriorated too much. I normally goes there at least 3-4 times in a month. I know they will not improve, but anyway best of luck and I am not going there.

Took over 1 hour from ordering to receiving food, i live a 5 minute drive from the restaurant. I think it was delivered on a bicycle? Food was received cold, had to heat it up in microwave. Completely awful!

Excellent choice of menu for lunch or dinner. I've been in a few times, as I work locally. I recommend the Nashville Chicken Wrap or Halloumi fries, but there's literally dozens of good items to pick. Friendly staff and warm comfy decor. It has a 50's diner vibe and sometimes has ambient music of that era to match, but often has thumping dance remix tunes. Overall I'd thoroughly recommend paying a visit.

Great little place. The nashville chicken burger, buttermilk loaded fries and lamb chops are items to try on menu. Hopefully service and menu continue to improve as one time the lamb chops weren't up to scratch.

We tried the crispy chicken wraps today and they were filling and delicious! The hot buttermilk nachos were also really nice but had a little bit too much salty towards the end. I think more salsa would fix the issue. Overall it was a great experience. Customer service was fantastic. Sania and Ayyad were really friendly and welcoming.
