Was in today was very quiet yet still.took 20 mins to get a drink .food very poor not restaurant quality wont be back

The food is great but the guys toilet is tiny

Very nice stylish and relaxed atmosphere. Attentive staff, not stuffy. Starters we ordered ham hock terrine and black pudding and potato terrine, both delicious but our favourite was definitely the ham terrine with delicious piccilli, poached egg on black pudding terrine was cooked to perfection but could have done with more black pudding. Mains my hubby had the venison stew whilst I had a the lamb kofta starter, I had to stop my husband for licking his plate clean and he said he would have ordered a bowl of the stew gravy for dessert! My kofta was lovely, tender and flavoursome. Desserts wow! My baked Alaska was devine! And hubby’s sticky toffee pudding was tasty but could have done with a bit of fruit to cut through the sweetness. All in all a great meal and staff always there when needed and very friendly, well done folks, we will be back

Comida de buena calidad sin embargo tamaños de porciones pequeñas especialmente en el plato de bacalao y el postre de chocolate (aproximadamente del tamaño de una galleta Kit Kat ) Si no hubiéramos pedido pan, patatas fritas y ensalada los que tenían el pescado se habrían ido sintiendo hambre. Bonito ambiente, pero por desgracia había un grupo al lado de nosotros que eran muy ruidosos. No volvería corriendo

A highly recommended restaurant in Glasgow City Centre. Food is outstanding, melts in the mouth and the best steak I’ve ever eaten. Gabriel was the perfect waiter, very professional, explained the menu with a deep knowledge of every course. The Chefs I can’t praise enough! Food was outstanding. The restaurant surroundings were spot on giving a very pleasant atmosphere. Ideal for that very special occasion or you just want to treat yourself. Thank you we will be back.

Este lugar es honestamente genial! Mi pareja y yo hemos venido aquí durante los últimos tres años desde que lo intentamos por primera vez y nunca dejan de impresionar. El personal y amable y acogedor y siempre hay un excelente servicio. La calidad de la comida es siempre excelente. Si alguna vez vamos a comer fuera, el opio es la preferencia. Tienen muchas opciones veganas que están claramente etiquetadas, ¡lo que es súper útil! No puedo recomendar lo suficiente!

Comida recién cocinada y un gran servicio. Algunos entrantes eran bastante grandes. Todos teníamos platos de pasta a un precio razonable. No hay lugar para el postre. Muy servicial camarero y personal amable.

Food was okay. The escargot was much better the last time I went, maybe they changed the recipe. Service was okay.

Called earlier for a take away pizza, I expected it to be quiet at that time but it was buzzing as always. So good I ate a bit on the way home 🍕 and I still have leftover 🤘🏼

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Glasgow. Not only are the food and drinks to die for, but the staff is exceptional. I was in for my birthday with a relatively large group of friends. Upon entrance, I was immediately wished a happy birthday. We were promptly served, and everyone adored what they had. I was even given a special birthday treat, and the staff sang to me. I am literally never disappointed by a single thing when I come here.

The food was not delicious, but I’m giving a 5 for the excellent service. Very kind and pleasant waitresses. Also nice music.

Absolutely love the Old Smiddy. Great selection of drinks, and the staff are fantastic. Their outdoor space gets a good amount of sun. The food is fine for basic bar food, but let’s be honest you’re not going there for a meal, you’re going there for a well poured pint.

We had a delicious meal in a such a beautiful location. The Amatriciana was delicious and the past well-cooked. My partner loved the ravioli peperoni, which was well-balanced - not too heavy at all. I had been craving a more authentic Italian meal while traveling and this was it!
