I’ve been making orders from deli spice for years whether it’s pick up or collection. The food has always been up to very good standards until the new owners have taken over! The pizza I received wasn’t cooked properly very doughy, when raising the concern they said “did you ask for it well done”. I ordered large chicken pakora when I bit into it, it was under cooked which has never been an issue before when ordering chicken pakora. So when I raised the concern they stated the pizza was cooked perfect and refused refund. A month before this for two milkshakes was 1 hour baring in mind I stay 2 minutes down the road. I will never be back again.

It says buy one get one free. before ordering I called the restaurant, and they confirmed that if I ordered a 12-inch pizza, I would get another free. so I ordered 4 pizzas and I paid for 4 pizzas. I should receive 4 free. then I called the restaurant to confirm that I would receive 8 pizzas. but the lady on the phone refused and said this is not our offer. after explaining a lot she still refuses. so I requested a lady cancel my order and i was still charged £30. why. is there any explanation for why I was charged for nothing? in the end, she said to speak with my boss Emilio. 03/11/2024 it was around 4:34 pm

What a bummer. Having done tons of research trying to find some vegan options for my trip, we’d been looking forward to breakfast at Glasvegan for months. I double checked the hours and both Facebook and Google stated they opened at 9am, Google even said the hours were confirmed by phone a few weeks prior. When we showed up, the place was closed & dark - no sign on the door, no post on their social media (and no website). Another traveller showed up around the same time and was also disappointed to see the dark restaurant. After looking into some news articles, it sounds like their inconsistent opening times was a blessing in disguise. Head chef up and quit, employee complains against owners, treatment and working conditions, and steadily declining food reviews. Good riddance I guess. They haven’t even responded to my inquires on their social media sites.

Paper Cup is BACK on top form! The new menu is a banger, curried eggs dish is back and such a fantastic brunch dish, lots of solid options, was hard to decide what to go for, so I will be back to sample it all over the next few Glasgow visits. Coffee on point as always. I hadn’t been back for a few months as the last time I went all the breakfasts seemed a bit simplified. Found myself trekking over east to Mesa for interesting brunch.

I am disabled which means I am almost completely blind and I also have some walking issues. However I am very independent and like to do things for myself. On the evening my husband and I visited the restaurant I went to the toilet by myself without any problem when I returned to the table one of the waiters came to our table and whispered in my ear as my husband was ordering some drinks “you madam may have one glass of wine with your dinner and no more, I’ve been watching you” we left straight away and I’m outraged and disgusted by this behaviour. Won’t ever return to this place. Very rud3 and ignorant
