I ordered a huge number of pizzas for a teenage birthday party, including for a friend with very serious food allergies - Claudio made perfect pizzas for us, and was really careful about getting the order just right, including creating a special pizza for the friend with allergies. And he gave us Nutella Doughballs, which were amazing!

There aren’t many good pizza restaurants around Glasgow, so I am super happy I found one that I love. The food is impeccable, and the service made me feel at home. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for good pizza.

I was having a rough day and stumbled across this place. Claudio was extremely friendly and made the pizza right there and then, even though it was late at night. He also gave me some nutella dough balls for free which was great. And the quality of the food was great!! I got the margarita pizza. Excellent.

Fairly expensive, but it’s genuinely the saltiest pizza I’ve ever had - I like salty food but this was genuinely inedibly salty (pesto one particularly so), which is a shame bc the dough is nice! Also not loads of veggie options

You could gain weight just from the aroma in the shop. The pizza, while a bit salty, was very tasty.

Passed this place after a walk around Kelvingrove park and the food did not disappoint! We opted for the dough balls and margarita pizza and honestly hands down, the best tasting food. The garlic balls and garlic dip - best combo. The pizza! The perfect combo of mozzarella and basil - and the base was *chef’s kiss* We were also kindly given Nutella dough balls and safe to say my toddler looked like she went through a tough mudder challenge - she was happy. Definitely will be back! Thanks!

Amazing food made to feel so comfortable

Went here today for some lunch and was left very satisfied. The owner has a real passion for his food and this is demonstrated through the quality of it. The pizza is absolutely outstanding. Top class place would highly recommend.

Got pizza and sides from here a while back. Took a while to come and forgot all of our sides. Pizza however was top notch and will defos try again sometime

The food is incredible! Claudio the manager’s service is first class, not only that but he also personally made our food fresh for us. Desserts are excellent aswell we will definitely be back and would certainly recommend!

Dough balls were overcooked like chewing a carpet, pizza caked in rocket, still ate it tho!

Personally I would usually rate Doughballs as one of the better pizzas in Glasgow, I’m not sure what happened tonight, just wasn’t up to the usual standards, looked like someone karate chopped it into slices rather than using a cutter and the topping la were all squashed and not 1 side leaning the other bare, overall not great and a bit disappointing. Temperature wasn’t good but that’s most likely deliveries fault. Won’t stop us eating again, most likely a bad night but left unfulfilled.

This place has really gone down hill since it changed ownership. We’ve been ordering regularly from here for the last 3 years and more recent deliveries have been disappointing. Our pizza tonight arrived cold with ubereats (I could see the driver collected and came straight to us -2mins by bike) and wasn’t properly cut so we had to hack at it with a knife to separate the pieces. With all the other pizzerias that have opened in Finnieston I think that sadly our time ordering from Dough Balls has come to an end.

Ordered a delivery from here for the first time tonight. Pizza was amazing! Base was lovely, as was the combination of toppings. Garlic dip was great too. Def reccomend!

Placed an order through uber eats, margherita pizza and apple juice, and the pizza was missing. May be good to encourage staff to check the bags before giving them to drivers.

Just bought 2 16 pizzas. I’m bowled over by how good they were. Best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Lots of topping, with olives and cheese. Really fantastic…and friendly service.

Delivery was quick, food was perfect

Quality of pizza gone down hill. Really greasy, and really thick cheese, ordered anchovie marinara. If it had been a meat feast I’d understand lots of grease but not for anchovie marinara. Bit dissapointed.

Decent pizza with quality toppings and a good tomato base which isn’t that common these days. Dough balls were somewhat of a let down, recommended by friends from Glasgow but they were served only slightly warm and were very chewy.

I'm giving a 5 star review because I know the industry and even though I had an issue they sorted it in good faith. There was no bad attitude in dealing with an issue. Pizza is the best. My favourite in the area!

The go to takeaway option in the west of Glasgow. When we have people round at the flat and order food they'd all be disappointed if we went anywhere else! Great value, great options and always a timely delivery.

Stumbled upon this place after seeing a passerby with a the shops name on the pizza box. Turned out we were only a short walk from the address. Staff were friendly and I absolutely loved the pizza, spoilt for choice, we chose the Mexicana and it didn't disappoint. If I'm ever back in this part of Glasgow it would be hard to avoid this place.

Review update - the gluten free options have disappeared from the delivery menu and website. This is really disappointing and my attempts to message via IG to ask if gluten free pizza bases will return have been ignored. The gluten free pizzas were amazing! We are now on the look out for another pizza place that can meet our dietary needs.

*Updated* Attempted to order a GF pizza tonight (17/06) and told that they no longer do these. Netherlee store is also the same. Apparently it's a cross contamination risk. Been eating them fine for the last two years. Was the best tasting GF pizza I've had. What a way to lose business. Shame that takeaways offer less dietary options as time goes on. *** Still the best gluten free takeaway pizza in Glasgow, but increasing issues with orders. Ordered x3 pizzas on the 8th October for collection at a set time - no issues at all ordering over the phone. On arrival I was told one of the pizzas (vegetarian option) wasn't ready and they'd put one in the oven. No worries with that at all. Unfortunately when I got home, they'd made an extra pepperoni. When I called to say, I was told it was the pepperoni that was missing from the order, when we clearly had two. I was advised they couldn't deliver another (understandable - that's why we collect), but they also couldn't refund, so I'd have to go back in person. I understand it's a busy place, and the food is great, but it's small things like this that put regular customers off returning. I also find you have to ask to make sure dips are included as I've previously been told they're in the box, only to find they're not. I'd still go back, but probably order in person next time just to ensure there are no issues.

I ordered a pizza but got red hair on it, I guess I didn't order extra ginger hair

No nonsense pizza. A fairly concise menu with the welcome addition of a 16” size. Base was lovely and the pepperoni salty and rich. Was lacking a little sugo in my order but in previous occasions this wasn’t an issue. Its a bit of a mix of Italian Neapolitan meets New York italian but it works

The pizzas are good. The boys are fantastic. Great service overall. The only thing I found unfair is that they charge extra for non-dairy cheese (usually called vegan cheese), when it's not about adding extra cheese on top of the mozzarella that's already on the vegetarian pizza or listed base pizzas at the "build your own pizza".

The best service that you could get! Plus the food is brilliant. Well worth a try.

Ordered through Uber Eats, only got half my order, phoned driver he said it’s nothing to do with him phone dough balls direct and no one is answering the phone. Poor service all round.

Ordered to takeaway. £14.50 for a 16" pizza that says mozzarella, sugo and evoo. Added mushroom and black olive at £2 each as an additional topping. First, never seen orange mozzarella that tasted of cheddar. £2 for less than one mushroom sliced launched from across the room. £2 for less that a dozen whole black olives. The base was great, sauce was great but to pay £18.50 left a sharp cheddar taste in my mouth. There's a handful of pizzerias nearby I'll try before returning here.

First time trying here the pizza is fantastic and they do gluten free bases which were excellent. The ingredients are very good quality and it shows. Didn't have any gluten free nutella dough balls for me to try this time but my partners looked amazing. Staff were friendly, Will definitely eat here again

We went for a short trip to Glasgow and had the best pizza at this place. It was a local restaurant to were we stayed, semi-close to city centre, had a table outside where you could sit and eat but no other tables and the space inside was limited. But besides that, our food was delicious. And the nutella doughballs were a nice desert!

Delicious gluten free pizza! You wouldn't know that it was gluten free, it tasted amazing.

Unreal pizza. Usually places with vegan options do that incredibly thin, almost crackery crust, but this crust is chewy, just crispy enough and very well seasoned. The toppings are also fantastic, the vegan options are just as good as the regular toppings, and the pizza is well justified for the price.

Helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere and welcoming

My husband finds new places for us to try every Wednesday and tonight we landed here. Drove half an hour to pick up a 16" gorgonzola and red onion pizza. Walking to the car I knew I was in trouble as the smell wafted out the box, this pizza wasn't going to make it home. We got into the car and opened the box and I swear to you that this is the best pizza that has ever passed my lips, and I've had pizza, but this was PIZZA. The base was so fresh and perfectly baked, the gorgonzola and onion went together like Sonny and Cher, we couldn't believe how good it was, the windows steamed up, the groans of ecstasy continued, fireworks exploded and ultimately I couldn't stop myself calling the shop just to tell them how freaking amazing it was. Apologies to any passers-by, it wasn't what it looked like... It was better ❤️

Ordered spicy chicken pizza and I had added garlic oil and oregano but it wasn’t on it and I had ordered a dip too and that was missing too. I think you need a better supervisor/manager since no one checked if the food was correct or not before the driver picked it up.

Pizzas from here were great. Nice crust, decent value and good variety. Not too dry or wet. Also ordered the cheese dough balls and they were very disappointing. Dough was more like brioche bread, filled with mozzarella? Taste was quite off-putting, disappointing considering that's the restaurant's namesake. Other than that quite happy with the meal.

I have ordered gluten free pizza from here several times and have always loved it . Ordered a calzone yesterday ( Sunday 22/08) and was very disappointed. It was very dry and I threw most of it in the bin . I have had better pizza from a supermarket . I don’t know why it was so different on this occasion, it’s definitely put me off returning to this establishment 😞

Absolutely amazing pizza, only 3 stars cause sometimes procedure is not followed properly… When they prepare “ham and mushroom” they remove excessive water inside the oven by slightly turning pizza to each side , but sometimes they don’t do that or do not remove all water, and then pizza is too watery and have darkish colour(see pic) and therefore not really tasty despite the fact that their ingredients are high quality. Defo will be back again soon, but ideally when an old Italian man is there

Delivery took quite a while and the pizza was a bit smaller than expected, that said... One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, hands down. Do yourself a favour and give them a try.

I ordered a Margherita from dough balls on Uber Eats. I was a little sceptical about the price as it was a bit on the expensive side, but when it arrived and the crusts were almost touching the sides of the box, I saw that it was more than justified. The pizza itself hit the perfect balance between refinement and indulgence - light enough for a Friday night dinner, but also greasy enough for a Sunday morning hangover scran. The crusts were thick and chewy, the sauce was rich and tangy, and the cheese was both full of flavour and generously applied. Altogether a great pizza and a hidden gem of a shop

You really have to get a pizza the action from these pizza making maestro's. Top notch pizza with a sensational light crispy cornice. Five out of five.

The pizzas are phenomenal. My daughter is coeliac and the gluten free pizza is amazing, the fact that she can make her own is brilliant! They are so fresh and tasty and excellent value for money. The staff are awesome too! Cannot recommend Dough Balls highly enough. Keep up the great work!

No-nonsense and delicious Pizza!

Terrible service. Went to collect at the right time then had to wait another 30 minutes due to mistakes by staff, who then refused to provide a refund despite the failings on their part. Would never recommend again, shoddy and subpar experence both in terms of service and quality of food

Asked to swap the red peppers for black olives and they gave me green peppers, which I hate

I'm gonna preface this with the fact that I normally LOVE doughballs. I ordered tonight, and not only was this an hour late, the pizza had barely any cheese (I asked for extra cheese), the dough was over cooked and the sauce was acidic tasting. I could barely finish 2 slices. What happened? Might never order here again.

Ordered for 8pm, drove to collect pizza, order cancelled by Dough balls at 7.57pm with no notice. Only saw this on arriving at the restaurant. Pretty terrible customer service.

Superb gluten free pizza so fresh and tasty

I've docked a star off because even though on my phone order I specifically asked for a gluten free calzone with my gluten free pizza, double checked it was gluten free AND THEN reiterated that my whole order was gluten free THEY STILL GAVE ME A NORMAL CALZONE. Lucky it was a collection because they made me a new one but I had to wait 10 minutes in the cold (thanks Coronavirus) while they fixed their mistake. And then all I got was a "oh sorry" with a smile. At least the food is good.
