Went to the dinner and wine tasting évent last night . An eye opener on delicious Sicilian wines and a great menu. Lovely relaxed atmosphere . My husband and I enjoyed the evening very much. A big thank you to our son and daughter in law for offering us this delightful evening as a birthday present. Happy to go back anytime

Unfortunately, our visit was quite disappointing. I ordered the chicken risotto and asked for a tiramisu martini but was mistakenly given an espresso martini instead, which I really didn’t enjoy. The drink was corrected, but even the tiramisu martini was just as unpleasant.
The food was incredibly salty across the entire table, so much so that I couldn’t finish my meal, and even my child struggled to eat theirs. We went through all the table water just trying to handle how overpowering it was. It felt like a real waste. Thankfully, the strawberry daiquiri was lovely, and my partner kindly shared his drink with me.
Shockingly, no one checked in on us during the meal to see if everything was okay, and at no point were we asked if we had any allergies — which is a basic and important part of service, especially when dining with a child.
Overall, we left feeling really underwhelmed and disappointed after looking forward to what should’ve been a nice evening out.
Have been coming for years. Booked online as a birthday treat expecting early bird menu as shown online. On arrival, staff couldn't find our booking, however, they were able to seat us. Waitress gave us menus which had no early bird option. We questioned this so once she had spoken to the chef, they agreed to offer us a limited early bird menu. Unfortunately no dessert option was on this.
Starter of nachos was extremely disappointing as was a cold pile of tortilla chips with very little topping. Portions of main very small and quality poor compared to how it used to be.
On previous visits, on arrival customers were given a small complimentary margarita and a small sharing plate of salsa and tortillas. This is no longer the case which is a shame as this was a nice touch.
I had a direct view of a male member of staff working in bar area and unfortunately he was bending up and down frequently with his jeans halfway down his backside. While eating seeing someone's bare backside is very off putting. Not a nice experience.
Very disappointing and definitely will not be returning. Such a shame after years of visiting but standards have dropped considerably.

Food and Service was good, I just feel the portion size's for the prices is very poor value, having to order fries as a side with the " Barra scampi " i found ridiculous, the pea puree was " lukewarm", if I returned again It would be for the breakfast only, I understand costs are much higher running restaurants these days, but there has to be a more sensible approach, really nice spot dont get me wrong, really enjoy there house pilsner.
We had a great experience at TGI Friday’s Glasgow Fort. We were served by Alasdair and he really provided amazing service. It was our first time out for a meal since having our daughter 3 weeks ago, and we were a bit anxious but he made sure he provided a suitable area for us to sit and it was such a positive experience. We had ordered the unlimited sesame chicken and refill drinks, we never had to ask once for a top up or refill, he was consistently checking and making sure we had everything we required - I don’t think I have ever had such a positive experience in any other restaurant - a credit to TGIs! Thank you so much Alasdair.

Great location for rail and subway as well as walking in Glasgow. Hotel room was typical for a hotel but it was very clean with extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet offered a variety of foods including scottish breakfast - very good food and coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great bar with mixed bag of people from 21ish to 70s. Great banter, cosy & great chat. Update: poor standards, the overwhelming stench of urine is shocking. The gents stink so much, you can smell them as soon as you walk in. The ladies is now similar and needs repairs and thoroughly cleaned. It's not so much tired now, but exhausted. Shame. It was a local gem. Not anymore. Unless you have no sense of smell or don't care about broken facilities. The whole place needs a VERY DEEP CLEAN.
