Lismore in Glasgow City

Not sure where to start, the carpentry and decor at this pub is just amazing. Huge wooden doors and panelling, beautiful stained glass windows and just amazing all round. 2 handpumps with real Ale, no pumpclip on the one we had but it was a great pint

Very good Glasgow pub about three minutes walk from Kelvinhall subway station. Two cask beers on handpump when I visited including a stout. A few tables outside on the pavement. There is a strong highland connection in this pub, with the name spelt in Gaelic by the side entrance. Stained-glass windows by local artists portray scenes from the infamous clearances while the urinals are dedicated to the Duke of Sutherland and other perpetrators. Regular folk sessions are featured.

Now serving real ales in excellent condition thanks to expert attention due to a specific member of staff.

A truly classic bar predominantly selling hard liquor but has a couple of cask ales pouring, the quality of which ensures it’s a regular entry in the Good Beer Guide. Excellent atmosphere helped with the 80’s New Wave music in the background. The stained glass windows are a sight to behold so come in and see for yourself and enjoy the great hospitality.

TRUE WHISKY olde world bar/lounge on Dumbarton Rd near KelvinGrove in Glasgow that from the outside is unconvincing - but step inside and its cosy, subtle lighting, traditional and warm great service. Lots of great choices of Whisky, two versions of draught Guinness (ice cold) and all of your favourite drinks! I ordered a special Glengoyne and Steven wanted to tell me the price before ordering!! I knew it wasnt cheap but appreciated the heads-up! Great service, good draught beer with clean systems - highly recommended as a stop off in your busy days! Will certainly come back regularly.

One of the older looking bars in Patrick. Staff are nice enough we were in about two in the afternoon on a Saturday the backroom where the toilet was stinking of pee. Thinking the cleaner mops the toilet an carrying on though to the room. Bogin. Like a visit to an old folks home the nose gets used to the smell.🙄 There you go alright for a couple drinks on a Saturday.

Small but cosy inside, Guinness no bad (choice of regular and cold flow, love that! Always go regular!)

We stopped here for a drink and the selection of whiskey was quite large. It was a lovely pub with friendly staff and really beautiful stained glass! I did not see a food menu, just drinks.

A beautiful pub with an array of stained glass windows and an enticing fireplace. I wish it was my local. The men's toilet includes a fitting tribute to the highland clearances.

This is a lovely pub that on first appearance looks like a traditional boozer, but it's actually quite quirky. Fab selection of drinks and the crowd is very mixed. Old blokes and young trendies all happily rubbing shoulders. Great atmosphere too.

I loved this quaint, olde worlde pub. We visited Lismore on a recommendation.

Went there because Ian Forbes plays with his partner Babs on the last Sunday of the month. Fantastic party afternoon. Service is great.

Great pub, urinals are legendary. Ben was an amazing bartender, lovely guy and drink were superb. Definitely a must visit in Glasgow.

Characterful bar and snug/lounge with artistic design elements in decor, wonderful stained glass windows. Feels like an authentic Glasgow boozer, well run, good service, not too expensive, good mix of customers, all age ranges. Occasional live music.

One of my favourite pubs in Glasgow. I'm a big fan of the malt of the month, and the guinness is fairly well poured. Lovely interior, very cosy and interesting decor. Really nice to pop in on a rainy day to warm up. It doesn't play loud music over speakers, so you can actually talk to people most of the time! Staff are helpful and friendly. It reminds me of old countryside pubs. It's rare to find ones like this in a busy part of a city, that haven't lost their charm.
