Wow, what a great city hotel here in Glasgow. 5 min walk from the station ( a little up hill). Rooms where very well presented, great views over the city. Bed very comfortable and amenities in the room where great. Bathroom was well equipped with a powerful rain shower and soaps and shampoos of great quality. Hotel bar was great, offering great choice of cocktails, spirits and beers. If your favourite tipple isn't on the menu, simply ask and the bar staff will happily make it for you. I didn't eat in the hotel, but it looking at some of the food it looked high quality. Overall it's the best hotel I've stayed in, in Glasgow. Having stayed at Malmaison, Holiday Inn, Premier Inn etc. I would 100% recommend staying here, I certainly won't book any other hotel when coming to Glasgow in the future.

Everything about our stay was great. From the welcome, the comfortable and clean room and good shower to the delicious breakfast. A very central hotel, close to theatres and shops. Perfect. We'll be back.

Very pleasantly surprised by how well appointed the hotel was. Modern and clean public area and rooms. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful at check in and happy to store cases after checking out. The beds were comfortable and the showers powerful and hot. Breakfast was good. The location was perfect for us being so close to the bus station and the city. My only negative was the tv, you have to hook it to your own mobile device to stream channels, but I couldn’t sync to it at all.

Love staying at this hotel with work a couple of days each month. The level of service is constant throughout no matter which part of the hotel. Always meet with a smile at reception & in the dining and bar area. Love the extra touch with a hand written card from Laura & the team in housekeeping in my room when I arrive.

Location very good. Room, bed, bathroom tip top. Breakfast selection very large. Everything you could possibly wish for. Umbrellas can be rented if necessary.

It was my third time at the Maldron, and I enjoyed my stay very much (as usual). The hotel has a small gym that I like to use during my stay. Perfect to get a functional workout in. If you plan to use the gym as well, be aware that there are no barbells, plates, and squat rack available. There are a few sets of dumbbells, a cable station, two adjustable benches, a couple of cardio machines (bike, treadmill, elliptical, and rowing machine).

Excellent location, very bright, clean and modern. Very good breakfast with small serving dishes regularly refilled so food kept the freshly cooked taste. Friendly helpful staff. Nice bar and sitting area. AND a great price!! Stayed two nights so room was just what we needed. If we stayed longer there are no drawers for storage and hanging space would be limited. Also there is no towel rail for towels??

This was my second time staying at this hotel with my boyfriend. We stayed for two nights. Victoria, one of the supervisors is a friend of mine and was able to give us the Friends and Family Discount. She also covered some extras such as early check in, breakfast for both mornings, a late checkout and also giving us a good room. Very thankful. Victoria also told me about using the Chromecast on the TV. Managed to get it working. Gerardo checked me in when I arrived. He was very friendly and polite. The room itself: Double Deluxe Room 1220 was very clean and very tidy, also including the bathroom.Toilet roll rack was a bit dusty. But overall, good job to the cleaners for keeping the room clean and tidy!!! I did notice a couple scuff marks on the walls. A small part of the wall was cracked in the bathroom. View from the top floor was amazing though and the room had a lot of electrical sockets. Breakfast was okay. There was a good selection of food from hot food to fruit and drinks from hot drinks to fruit juice. However, as a Scottish woman, I wasn’t too happy with there not being any square sausages. The bacon was a bit too thick for my own personal taste as well. Also for Sunday morning breakfast, we were sat at a table that hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. No dishes were left, just the table had not been thoroughly wiped. Wasn’t very happy about that. Reception desk were able to hold my suitcase and rucksack in there luggage room before we checked out. Thank you! Lounge area next to reception was very nice and the bar area was very nice too. The only thing I did not use during the stay was the fitness facilities. Overall, very nice hotel! Would definitely come again. Friendly staff, clean rooms and an okay breakfast. Big thanks to Victoria for making the stay memorable! <3

The bathroom doesn't have a toilet brush. The staff is nice, although I imagine the person who cleaned my room didn't understand English very well, because he/she didn't understand a note I left him/her.

Had an overnight stay and first time in this hotel and wasn't disappointed, great location, staff member on reception to check in and out which was a bonus. Bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was superb and the room was spacious only negatives were the restaurant meal prices were expensive and there were marks on the walls of my room but I would visit again

Stayed in the 12th floor looking east over the city. Room was a wee bit small but was very clean and comfortable. Had all you need for an overnight stay in the city.

Staff were very welcoming and don’t underestimate the difference this can make to your stay! Hotel was spotless, rooms spacious and beds very comfortable. We had a great nights sleep and couldn’t hear any noise from the corridors. When we booked breakfast was included which made the price very reasonable. The location was excellent for food and public transport. Would definitely book again.

Great central to plenty things pubs clubs and panto

Very comfy, very clean, and very friendly staff. Would absolutely recommend to others. Unfortunately didn't get the name of the gentleman who checked us in (Wednesday 11th around midday) but he was exceptionally polite and friendly and a credit to the hotel!

Excellent location in heart of Glasgow. Clean and tidy. Rooms were as you would expect, nothing WOW, but great for somewhere to get head down after a night out in town. Service was excellent in the bar especially from young lad Callum and Lucy (?). Must be tough going for them so only right they get a mention. Only niggle for me was the drilling/digging going on at rear of hotel. (Not a lot Maldron can do about that mind you). Made for a noisy morning alarm call and also getting rather abruptly quizzed for room keys towards end of night. Appreciate the need for asking but could have been more pleasant when asking.

Getting here from Queen street on foot was a merry go round. So hard to google-find. However the service was nice

We stayed from 08/11 to 11/11 The hotel is very well located just 100 meters from the center. The staff is very nice. The room is very clean and very quiet, you can't hear anything. If you want a toothbrush and toothpaste you have to ask at the reception. The breakfast is good, the only thing is that it is the same every day. Be careful for people coming from outside England, the adapter to charge the phone is not the same but in the room you can charge the phone with the USB cable. The hotel is close to the train station. (Perfect if you want to visit Edinburgh, a wonderful city!! A train leaves every 30 minutes and the closest stop to the center there is Waverley station, the round trip costs £31.) I recommend this hotel

Stayed for a couple nights whilst working in Glasgow, staff more than accommodating and friendly during my full stay and the room was amazing great shower and comfy bed, I only wished I could of stayed longer

The room we had was smaller than the ones we have had before and it was a bit cold, couldn't get the temperature rise.

First time we have stayed at this hotel, and it was great, a very warm welcome as soon as we arrived, a marvellous room, which was spotlessly clean, everything about the hotel was great, only marked this down by one point, because the black pudding was a little bit over down, that's my personal opinion 😀

The hotel's location allows you to explore the pub district and the center of Glasgow. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could have more options but it is complete. The rooms are very quiet and spacious. You sleep very well. Excellent wifi. Complies with a 4 star.

Room was fine, bed was however very soft. We unfortunately had an unusual amount of issues during our stay, which they did fix fairly efficiently - there was a nasty stain on the bed sheets and the fitted sheet wasn’t set on the bed properly. Housekeeping came quickly to fix it. Our toilet was leaking when we arrived, they fixed it while we were out. Service at breakfast became quite resentful when we asked for eggs 20 minutes before the end of scheduled service. Hotel was very central and conveniently located but I wouldn’t go back if I can choose.

A first-class hotel with regard to accommodations, attention to detail, and a courteous staff aiming to please. All the amenities you would expect are here and it's within walking distance to so many places in the city. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, ideally situated for our David Essex concert. Twin room decent size, clean and the beds comfortable. Large shower, and again, the bathroom was immaculate. Towels changed, and the bed made for the 2 nights we stayed. There is plenty of coffee and tea plus 2 bottles of still water. Always a bonus. Will definitely stay again.

Bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. However breakfast choice wasn't great. Floors sticky, plates left out after tables emptied, very little wiping up of service area during breakfast. One receptionist asked me to collect my bags as she didn't know how to.

We stayed six nights primarily for the Open Golf. Room was clean but poorly equipped for anyone staying more than one night: No drawers for clothes, three coat hangers per person, no coat hooks and hair drier with no nozzle. Also milk sachets and biscuits not resupplied after first day. On a positive staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a triple room, a small room with no room for suitcases, for two nights it's fine but no longer. High price. It is located near the center. Abundant breakfast

Travelling a lot for business, I can honestly say that the breakfast is the best one ever. So much choice and fantastic quality. Lovely City Centre hotel, …..only 3 years old and within walking distance of Queen Street Railway station, George Square and the main Bus station. Less than 4 minutes walk from Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, so ideal for attending concerts at this venue. The buffet style breakfast was also excellent with everything available.

What's not to like, even had a dr8nks voucher too- we'll be back!!

Fantastic from the booking process right up to check out. Cannot fault at all. The reception team we saw when we arrived were incredible. 10/10 customer service and we were able to access our room early which was an added and unexpected bonus. Breakfast was wonderful too.

What a great hotel in a great spot in Glasgow. The location is just superb. Close to the city centre and within easy walking distance of bus and train links. Easy walking to so many points of interest too. The hotel itself is fresh and modern. Decent restaurant and good café/bar on site which is handy. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. The bed was comfortable and bathroom quite good and modern. Room was a little small but fine for a few days. No mini fridge in our room which I generally prefer but it's not a deal breaker for a short stay. Overall a great spot and highly recommended. Thank you for a great stay.

Staff were the nicest and super helpful. The hotel was beautiful and the bar very convenient. We are returning here on our next visit to Glasgow!

Airco wasn't working properly, and staff wasn't too interested in fixing it; solutions were offered halfheartedly, and none solved the issue. Breakfast is not worth it; better look for options in the immediate area (we liked The Bucket List). Double+single room is spacious for two. Location is good; at walking distance from Buchanan bus station (great connection to Glasgow airport), restaurants and shopping.

Very comfy beds and immaculately clean rooms

In Scotland we have stayed in several places. We originally booked at another hotel, but left after 10 minutes. The Maldron is by far the best hotel in the area. It is clean, elegant and well located. A good choice for normal people.

We only stayed one night so cannot really share too much. The staff were super friendly and helpful with questions. The room was very, very nice and clean. Great location as well. Bus station, which we used to take us back to Edinburgh airport, was but a 10 minute walk up the road. Very convenient. I would highly recommend this place!

Apparently a new/refurbished building, so the room was like new with many power/USB outlets. Good bed and pillows, shower was not strong.

Cracking new hotel, close to Sauchiehall Centre and Buchanan Bus Station in the centre of Glasgow. Staff extremely friendly, welcoming and professional. Clean and comfortable rooms - our's was on the 12th floor with an incredible view across the city. Very reasonable rate - would thoroughly recommend.

Hotel was fine, great location, good breakfast, didn't have dinner, but menu looked good. Bit dissapointed couldn't get a coffee at 10 on a friday night from the bar as the coffee machine had just been cleaned. Overall fairly good stay.

Check in was easy fast and painless and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast was served hot and of a good quality but the young woman on duty when asked about the coffee machine said it was switched off as it had to be cleaned this was just on eleven o’clock then when we getting ready to leave three other diners went over and had coffee which she had a little moan about.

The location was excellent, providing easy access to attractions and amenities; bedroom size was ideal for our group of three, offering comfort and space (plus, the bed: incredibly comfy), staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - reflecting the warm hospitality we experienced throughout Glasgow). we didn't try the food, but the breakfast options were plentiful, with a separate gluten-free area available. Cons: It would be a good idea to install a towel rack or something similar in the bathroom.

This is a very conveniently located hotel and I can't fault the rooms and facilities. The staff are very friendly and even accommodated my request for breakfast very early in the morning during Ramadan.

We had 2 exectuive rooms, the rooms were great, but in our room 212, we had problems with the heating. It was freezing cold, and when we turned on the AC it heated from the roofing, but it never came around in the room. When returning later the AC had switched off, and the room was freezing again. The bathroom was even colder than the room, and even after a warm bath the floor was cold to stand on even through the slippers and a towel. We told the receptionist who sent someone to check it out, but nothing changed during our stay. In our friends room, 211, the temperature was fine, but their bathrooms were as cold as our. Its ok to be environmental if thats the case on the temperature on the rooms/bathrooms, but at least inform us about it then.

Check-in was so quick and easy, we done it online the day before. Hotel was all round perfect in every way. We walked out of the hotel and everything was within 2 minutes walk. Room was very comfortable, USB ports for phone charging, iron and ironing board, the WiFi was good too. 10 out of 10 !!

I stayed one night in the deluxe double room. My stay was excellent from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean and very quite even though it was near the centre of Glasgow and opposite the pavillon theatre. The staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was delicious. I would definitely cone back and stay.

Clean room and beds, spotless bathroom and great shower. The location is excellent if you are going to any of the surrounding theatres, or visiting Glasgow in general. 2 tiny criticisms, noise from the street was louder than I expected being on the 4th floor so YMMV depending on where your room is and the TV channel choices were poor but this didn't affect my review. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, perfect location for city exploring, and for heading out of the city via buchanan bus station. Room was lovely, huge comfy bed, great night sleep throughout the 3 nights I was there. Also glad to have a window that opened ( I'm a city person and honestly don't mind the traffic noise ) The bathroom was a bit on the small side ( just personal preference. The shower was easy to navigate, with plenty of fresh towels, hand soap shampoo, and body lotion, too. TV was a great size, I did try to use chromecast howwever, this wasn't working. I had my laptop and tablet with me, so it wasn't a major deal. Had to speak to reception on the first day as there was a half empty bottle of water left on the side table, I wasn't best pleased as it felt like housekeeping came in and forgot to remove it...I was advised that it would be replenished and sure enough 20minutes later, staff were at my door with two completely new bottles and an apology. I also when I'm in a hotel prefer for housekeeping to not refresh my room till the end of my stay and so I always hang the please do not enter sign on my door. Second day I arrived back at my room, I was left with a note saying they had noticed the sign and should I need any refresh then to let them know via a phone number on the note ( presumably for reception ). However, the 3rd night I was there, I returned again to my room ( with the please do not disturb sign still on the handle ) and found that this had been completely ignored and staff had entered without my consent, moved around all of my belongings and refreshed the room, which I specifically asked them not to... Needless to say, I felt quite strange about this, as it's an invasion of my belongings and my space, which I am very particular about. I tried to bring this up with reception but never got a chance as they were rather busy with other guests checking out, and I also had travel plans quite soon after. Overall, the maldron is a lovely hotel, and the staff are nice, the rooms are really spacious and comfy too. Housekeeping needs to be made aware to pay more attention to guest requests as it could lead to complaints if they are simply ignored. I would recommend the maldon for anyone staying for a weekend in Glasgow. It's great as a solo traveller, and I'm sure it would be well worth it for couples and families too.

Staff were all great however service in restaurant was slow. Walls in room need attention all marked and burns in carpet in room. But overall great stay.
