Booked here for dinner - the food here was lovely, served promptly and well presented. One of my friends had an issue with her food (absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant, she’s just quite picky) and it was taken off the bill as a kind gesture. Our server was great and very attentive. We were sat in a private area/booth and the table beside us seemed to be two members of staff having a meeting or doing some paperwork, usually I wouldn’t be bothered at all by this, however we felt a bit awkward and uncomfortable as we didn’t want to bother them by being too loud etc as they were right beside us. Totally understand that these things need to happen however it wasn’t the atmosphere we expected for it being 8pm.

i went and ordered chicken nuggets and chips. i got handed the chicken nuggets and replied sorry i ordered chips too? and the guy serving me my food said "shup up stop complaining and eat ur food". i do not recommend. There is a much nicer friendlier shop just up the road called Chilos, go there.

Love Blue Sky. Attempted to purchase a meal tonight and the person at the counter didn't lift her eyes from the mobile phone in her hand behind the counter. Instead choosing to blindly point at the menu on the wall without ever lifting her head and attempting at least to make eye contact.. I left without placing an order.

Went here late on a weekend after all the pubs had emptied and the place was super busy, the girl serving us was taking orders very quickly, and the food was being prepared perfectly at a fast speed. I was definitely impressed with the quality of the food as well as the speed of the service. I would highly recommend this place as a good local fish and chip shop.

The boss was scary. He never opened the door, but there was someone inside who was still taking takeaway orders. I stood at the door waiting for him to open the door, and he was pointed at the nose and told me to get out.

It was mid-afternoon in a snowy Glasgow and after seeing the movie Maestro (lifestory of composer Leonard Bernstein) at the nearby GFT we were in need of a late lunch; somewhere can-do, cosy and welcoming. At The Salon we were offered all that and more. Welcomed from the minute the door was opened for us, we found the staff attentive and caring - nothing was too much trouble. In tribute to Maestro Bernstein's New York, I had a Reuben sandwich. Food and wine came quickly and was delicious. By coincidence, our friendly and efficient server was called Felicia - the same name as Mrs Bernstein. The movie references aside, here is a venue where you can feel relaxed and looked after. Reminded me of the atmosphere in the late lamented Rogano. Good mix of people including a newly married couple, hotel and spa guests, and walk-ins like ourselves. Would it be too cliched to say that 'There's A Place for Us'!
