30 pound in the bin , seven small bits of salt and chillie chicken ,fried rice that was awful like wet greasy mess , and curry sauce ,like I've never tasted before , very disappointed not one part of the meal was edible, a treat night ruined and 30 pound waisted , one very unsatisfied customer
Staff Weber descarado e incomprendido.

Went in for a christmas catch up with a group of friends. The guy who served us was great, he has only just started working here and was very funny with it. He was honest when he made a mistake and made a joke of it. I think his name was Red? Either way he served us perfectly and made our experience enjoyable. The food was incredible and it was dog friendly meaning we would have our dog there. The only slight let down was the spicy marg which wasn't spicy enough and was too sweet for a marg. Would definitely come back though.
Been going to this place every so often since it first opened way back when. Found out about the sushi school via a gift website. Had a little trouble calling (voicemail always full) and the emails took a few goes and some to-ing and fro-ing, but eventually got booked.
The class is a proper laugh. You make LOADS of sushi, the menu was altered slightly as we had some vegans in the group, but those who also defo wanted to make meat sushi were still able to. Staff were informative and lovely,
Hard work from all the amazing team!
Calm and pleasant manner shown at all times by the helpful waiting staff. This level of service was what is required for the work event. The food was outstanding and left many of our guests wanting more. The choice of area was excellent in terms of receiving our guests at the beginning of the evening and matched the desired ambience perfectly. Honestly, you took away any concerns we may have had in an instant, resulting in a smooth running evening.
We hope to have further events here in the future! :)
Booked this restaurant by email for my sons 24th birthday celebration on 4/10/16 I received 2 emails confirming the booking one received on the 3rd the second on the 4th confirming the date time and amount of people to be seated. We all turned up to a closed restaurant. I've emailed but no reply has been received as yet. Telephone number has message advising they can't take the call. Very disappointing. Bookings by email should not be taken when a place has closed down.
No volveré.
This is by far the best dessert place I’ve ever been to. I got the cookie dough with Oreos on top of it. It was absolutely amazing. I also tried my father’s brownie, it was warm and gooey in every right way. I recommend this to anyone who is in Glasgow. I live in the US, and I hope that one day we will get a restaurant as good as Big Licks.
Lovely looking cafe in Glasgow's West End. I had haddock with some coleslaw, my partner had burger and chips, and we both had a mug of tea each. My haddock initially had a strange taste and I soon realised it was the tartare sauce. It was horrible! I ate what I could of the rest but the tartare sauce left a nasty taste in my mouth. That said, I had a few chips from my girlfriend's plate and they were very nice. No grease at all, and in fairness the fish wasn't greasy either. My girlfriend didn't really enjoy her burger saying that the bun didn't taste great and the Gold Star tomato ketchup wasn't great either.
The lady who served us though was so welcoming and friendly and a credit to this place. She was lovely and the tip we gave was for her.
The cafe is basic but equally quite stylish with exposed brickwork lit up which I liked, and the prices were OK. Please, please, please though get rid of them tartare sauce sachets. I know Gold Star tomato ketchup is what chippies in Scotland use so I can't really suggest changing. I did like the coleslaw though.
Food. 6/10
Service. 10/10
A lovely wee cafe. We ordered a chicken and pesto panini and the turkey bacon and waffles. Both were gorgeous. The staff were super friendly and the care itself is lovely.
