Windows Restaurant in Glasgow City

Went for afternoon tea as a treat. Extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Bread was definitely not fresh, hard around the bottom, scones were not scones. They were tiny bullets great difficulty trying to get knife through them to cut them. Cakes were average more like tray bakes. The view? Well if you like to look at a flat roof covered with grass and seagulls then this is the place for you. Much was made about the view, however, it is certainly not spectacular. The lack of staff certainly didn’t help. Once served out teas & coffees we never saw them again. No offers of more tea/coffee. Won’t be returning, not impressed.

The restaurant was chosen for its position looking over the city. The only positive point. Poor welcome. Very poor service. The waitress wearing a stained apron was stretching across guests, The selection of dishes was very limited with no a la carte. The food itself was mediocre and unappetising with rewarmed vegetables. Definitely not going back!

5 of us went for lunch on a Saturday. The staff were mostly very pleasant and the food (when it arrived) was delicious. However, the service was inbelievably slow! We were only having one course each -just a main course- and from ordering it to getting it took 1hr 15 mins . The rest of the tables were all people having afternoon tea and they were served very quickly as that was all pre prepaired, we were the only table having a cooked meal. When we asked the waitress if there was a problem (after an hour) she looked horrified and said " the chef has FIVE meals to prepare for you!" I had previously read other reviews about the slow service but decided to risk it. I should have listened. Pity because the quality of my food was good.

The windows restaurant is a lovely setting, great views and relaxed atmosphere. I found the wairing staff very friendly. I booked this venue for myself and friends from out of town to catch up. My friends stated that they liked the venue. From my perspective the food wasn't up to standard, I put on my booking form that I was vegetarian with a dairy intolerance, so would expect the chef to be prepared, however the vegetable beef Wellington was a very small portion, not as described by the waitress, it was soggy and made to look bigger by being presented on top of a lot of baby potatoes. There was too much potato and not enough Wellington. I'm sorry I didn't complain at the time, awkward moment when you are catching up with friends you don't see often, I did not want to spoil the atmosphere. I would certainly give 5 stars if the food was up to scratch ( vegetarian curry was pretty hot for my friend's taste and mine but tasty, burgers were reported to be nice, chips were good). Kitchen is letting all the good work done by other staff down, is my take on it. (I worked as a cook for 20 years).

Comí dos desayunos y una cena y almuerzo aquí. El bistec de mi marido estaba preparado a la perfección para él y mi comida estuvo bien. El personal de espera era bueno. El almuerzo estuvo bien y llenó el tiempo muy bien antes de nuestra salida al aeropuerto.El desayuno de nuestra primera mañana podría haber sido mejor si la camarera hubiera escuchado o anotado las cosas. Solicité piña y melón y me dieron ensalada de frutas frescas. Las tostadas estaban mal, todas marrones y no mezcladas como se ordenó. No nos molestamos en comentar ya que eso probablemente habría significado no comer cosas juntos. Las cosas mejoraron en nuestro segundo día.

Positivo primero. . . . Preciosas vistas de Glasgow y el personal es muy amable y atento. Sin embargo, el té de la tarde está por debajo de lo que esperaba por el precio que pagamos. Mala elección de sándwich y pan no fresco. Me sentí muy barato y todo cargado de mayonesa Los bollos tampoco estaban frescos. Buena selección de pasteles pequeños, pero en general definitivamente no es el mejor té de la tarde que he tenido. . . muy decepcionado ya que había estado allí hace un par de años y estaba mucho mejor. . . . de ahí mi deseo de volver. No volveré.

My husband and I ate here recently for my birthday. Gorgeous food and excellent service. We both had the pate to start, I had the beef and he had the pork. Cannot fault it. We declined desert however as a lovely surprise our waitress brought me a lovely birthday treat. Very thoughtful we will be back.

La cocina es abierta y el olor de la comida que se está cocinando llegó al restaurante.Pedimos nuestra ginebra rosa y fue encantadora, así como las bebidas calientes. El personal fue amable y servicial, nos quejamos de que un pez estaba sucio y se disculparon y lo cambiaron. Aunque en algún momento, parecían confundidos por los requisitos de nuestra dieta: no solicitamos NINGÚN PESCADO cuando realizamos la reserva, pero nuevamente se nos preguntó acerca de los requisitos a la llegada. No hay problema, seguramente querían confirmar? Entonces, cuando dijimos "sin pescado, por favor", preguntaron "¿está bien el atún?". . .. . .No hay pescado y atún es pescado, así que no hay atún. Tal vez estaban un poco cansados ya que había una fiesta de unas 20 personas con niños y claramente este grupo requirió más atención.Cuando llegó la comida, los sándwiches eran decepcionantes. Una rebanada de baguette con ensalada de col, un bollo de brioche con jamón y mayonesa y sándwiches con queso y dos dedos. . . Sí, lo has adivinado, mayonesa. De nuevo. Hubiera sido bueno ver un aderezo diferente en cualquiera de los sándwiches, que fueron enviados de regreso porque ni siquiera estaban medio llenos. Entonces, en lugar de eso, obtuvimos sándwiches de 4 dedos, muy amablemente, pero nuevamente el relleno ni siquiera se extendió adecuadamente. Wife was having a lunch date with her friend but the friend cancelled so i filled in as it was booked, market menu 2 course lunch, view great and decor good, service good but food not great, we both had haddock and mussel chowder, was good but needed more flavour little bland, came with bread would have been nicer with butter with it also wife found bone in it, main course wife had slow cooked beef but she found it a bit fatty and has had it before and was a lot nicer on previous visits also smaller portions than before, i had the chicken breast, little dried out overcooked also had haggis neeps and tattie bake, was expecting a kind of bake with chicken on it, found it hard to find any haggis in it, tasted a little bit funny would not reccomend it. overall would not go back.

Service was very good, meal was nice but not great. We paid £36 for a bottle of prosecco, which was disappointing considering the price, in fact one of the worst we have had in a restuarant.

We booked the Windows Restaurant for a group of 20 people for a 30th birthday meal. When I was trying to arrange this I was on holiday and the team were great. I was dealing with Kristy Neil throughout the booking process and she was very accommodating going over and above to make sure that I could pay my booking deposit with ease from my holiday. On the night the staff were brilliant! The menu's were personalised with 'Stewarts 30th Birthday Meal' at the top, which was a lovely touch. The food was lovely and it was amazing value for money. We were £24.95pp for a glass of wine on arrival and a 3 course meal, which for a large group also made it easy to split the bill! They were also more than happy to bring out a birthday cake that we had brought in earlier that day, and they brought out a complementary birthday plate for the birthday boy. Great service throughout, we will definitely be back!

Went here for lunch.Three courses and all dishes were lovely.Staff were lovely too especially Dylan as he was so helpful. Dont usually return to a place so quick but already booked it for another two times because it was so good.I would highly recommend it.

Booked for a last minute meal on Sunday 19th Jan as plans changed for my Mother’s Birthday. The service was outstanding the staff could not have been more welcoming. We ordered of the market menu and where not disappointed. Food was amazing and fantastic value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough

Booked the Celebration Menu for my fathers birthday for 6 people,what can i say?

We ate here recently and could not fault the service or the food. The Haggis starter and beef main course were fantastic, we will definitely be back. Lovely setting.

Took my friend here for her birthday just before Christmas. The afternoon tea was lovely. Really liked the little things like a teacup of soup (any more would have been too filling) and the Christmas bell (to avoid the wastage of crackers). The food was nice and we were able to take home the cakes we couldn't eat (no boxes though just tinfoil to wrap). The service was very good. Surprisingly they weren't busy the day we were there so there was plenty of space and we weren't rushed at all and were given space to chat and catch up over our tea, so we found it very relaxing. The location is also perfect for a catch up with friends, next to Queen Street Station and although right in the middle of the city the fact that it is on the top floor means it doesn't feel like it. Will definitely return.

Great atmosphere, fantastic food and very friendly staff. We were looked after all night. Debra was very attentive and helpful with diaries. Thank you to all team for making our night special.

Lovely hotel, with lovely decor. Booked afternoon tea for 3 yesterday. Food was nice and got unlimited tea which was good. The service really lets the place down. Service was very slow, and we kept having to try get the waiters’ attention. One young boy ignored us a few times when we clearly wanted to have our teapots refilled and order more drinks. Rather than try take an order for more drinks, the young waiter stood and polished cutlery whilst ignoring us. There should have been a supervisor or member of management trying to manage staff and ensure customers were looked after. I’d suggest re-training the staff.

Visité el restaurante ayer para mi madre en las leyes 70 cumpleaños almuerzo. El restaurante estaba tranquilo cuando llegamos, pero se llenó muy rápido.

El restaurante no cumplió con nuestras expectativas. La decoración era mediocre. El personal era realmente agradable, pero desafortunadamente la comida no estaba a la altura de lo que cabría esperar a los precios cobrados. Éramos 4 en nuestro grupo, 3 de nosotros comimos bistec y desafortunadamente el 4º miembro optó por el cerdo y terminó enfermo.

Me alojé en el hotel anoche y reservé para cenar. Elección de menús, excelente precio para 3 platos y una copa de vino. La comida era deliciosa, gracias chef Alan. Nuestra camarera, Shannon, fue fantástica. Mezcla perfecta de amable y profesional, la atención al detalle fue increíble, realmente hizo que la experiencia fuera 5 *. Gracias por los toques especiales de cumpleaños.

Cenamos a las 6 PM un sábado y no tuvimos ningún problema para conseguir una mesa para dos. Las vistas de los tejados de Glasgow eran geniales. Nuestro camarero brindó un excelente servicio. La hoja de carne escocesa fue una de las mejores comidas que tuve durante nuestro viaje. Fue muy similar a la carne asada. Mi esposa pensó que el quiche de queso de cabra y cebolla roja era increíble. El merlot de Chile también fue muy bueno.

We booked Afternoon Tea for 9 people for my bestfriend's birthday. When I booked, the gentleman asked if it was for a special occasion, which I advised him of.... althought I don't know what the point in that was as it made no difference to anything. When we arrived (on time) the table wasnt set, so we were seated while this was done. We ordered cocktails which came failry fast and were nice!

I sincerely hope chef was just having a bad day on Wednesday, as if he presents plates of food similar to the one presented to me I imagine custom will plummet.

Visited for lunch with a group. Food was excellent and there are lovely views over the rooftops of Glasgow. We are very likely to return again.

Amazing views! Bagpipes floated up off the street below and the traffic noise hummed in the background barely perceptible. Wine outside on the deck was a perfect end to a full day!

Had a lovely afternoon and evening on Wed, 26 June in the Windows Restaurant to celebrate my daughters graduation. The food was lovely, nice ambience and the service from Amy and another young man were first class. Nothing was a bother and they were so pleasant and helpful. We sat outside for drinks on the balcony area for ages as we were lucky enough to have great weather. It was such a treat and our party just loved it. What can I say, what was indeed a very special day for us was made even better by this lovely restaurant and it’s staff. 10/10 to Amy and the other young waiter for your pleasant attentiveness and to the kitchen staff for the delicious food which was so nicely presented. We will defiantly be back

I’m ashamed to say I’m from Glasgow and never visited this venue before, what an absolute gem it is, and views over Glasgow are spectacular.

The food was fantastic. I had steak that was cooked perfectly. The dessert was incredible. So beautifully plated I almost didn't want to eat it.

6 of us dined at Windows Restaurant earlier in the month for a friends birthday and a long overdue catch up. We all had starters and mains and the food was cooked perfectly, one of the best steaks I have had in Glasgow! We were looked after by Shannon and Amy who made sure we had plenty of drinks, the pink gin cocktail went down a treat! Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Food is really good here. Tasty and well presented, with a good choice. They do a nice afternoon tea as well. The views from the big windows are amazing, I saw features of Glasgow I hadn’t previously noticed..

Booked for dinner last week and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and staff (Amy and Shannon) were so attentive we are fussy eaters and all requests were accommodated without a problem! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Scottish food.

Booked Windows restaurant for a friends birthday, was not disappointed! The table was decorated with balloons for our arrival, the food was cooked to perfection (we all steaks) Staff were very attentive, kept us in constant supply of cocktails. Even sang happy birthday and presented a birthday plate to the birthday girl! We all had a great time.

I booked our afternoon tea as a treat for myself and my daughter to round off our 2 weeks off work.

My cousin purchased a pink gin afternoon tea for here and we went good friday. Inside decor and environment was nice cant complain, we asked to sit outside which couldnt be accomodated straight away but we did manage after about 10 15 mins, the terrace area was lovely a great wee sun trap! The disappointing part was the afternoon tea itself. The sandwiches were very poor, hardly any filling in them and the bread was starting to go hard round the edges so had clearly been lying out. Same for some of the cakes and scones were so poor we didnt eat them. Cocktails were nice just a shame the food was a real let down.

My Mother and I had a Groupon voucher for Windows Restaurant for afternoon tea. We took my daughter (aged 8) with us. The afternoon tea itself was ok(not great). The sandwiches were four small finger sized sandwiches(which tasted as though they had been made up earlier). We asked for the children’s menu which was £6.95. My daughter ordered the garlic bread to start with and the pizza. We asked if it was possible to add pepperoni and they said they didn’t have any! So they were setting up the child’s plate and we noticed that they were going to put a garnish of leaves on the plate. My mother politely said to the chef that her Granddaughter wouldn’t eat it and would he mind just having only the pizza on the plate. The chef was not happy and lifted the leaves with his bare hands and threw them back into the water that the leaves were sitting in!!!! When the pizza arrived it looked terrible! All burnt looking (see picture)! When we spoke to the waiter we asked if it was a frozen pizza he said yes! It was a mini pizza you could bought out of a supermarket for 50p!! They were charging £6.95 for a piece of garlic bread and an over cooked pizza!! Disgraceful for such a big hotel! The rest of the afternoon tea was just ok! Nothing special! Very disappointed for it being such a large well known hotel! They did take the price off for the child’s pizza but charged for the garlic bread and the lemonade my daughter had! We have been to many afternoon teas but this was nowhere near worth what we paid for! So I would not suggest taking children here at all! The only good thing I would say was the waiter Dylan. He was so nice and did pass on our thoughts to the chef. The chef couldn’t even acknowledge us!

Took my friend along for Afternoon Tea and it was great value from Itison. Fresh and plenty of it. Lovely staff who gave great service. Great views. Will be back

After reading reviews of the restaurant I had high expectations. I regularly treat myself to afternoon tea and I have to say that this was hugely disappointing and it wasn’t cheap! Sandwiches with barely any filling, dry scones with awful cream, a poor selection of cakes with a flask of tea rather than a pot! We were not offered a refill or asked how our meal was - basic customer service! This was supposed to be a birthday treat for my mum which was a huge let down.

I come from beef country...and that was some mighty fine beef I had tonight! And the smoked haddock starter was outstanding as well.

Myself and my partner were in for a meal this evening and honestly couldn’t fault the service and food, we commented that the meal was better than any other place we have been. Absolutely delighted and we will be back next time we stay 🙂

My sisters and I had a catch up in Glasgow then enjoyed an amazing dinner at the Windows Restaurant - Carlton George. We all chose from the excellent selection on the Market Menu - 4 of us in our Party and we all had excellent food cooked by the amazing Chef - Alex , compliments to him and his staff.

Here for business. Over half an hour wait for a burger that appeared to have been cooked for half an hour. It’s dried out and burnt : sides and garnish are minimal. For £11 I’d expect better. I sent it back and the second version was a little better...but this is not a home made burger....it’s probably from Bookers. Pretty poor.

We booked a 2 night break which included breakfast in the Windows Restaurant. Located on the top floor of the Hotel, we were treated to a very unique view of Glasgow rooftops - a whole new perspective! The restaurant was bright, well laid out and tended by friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was an absolute delight with the continental selection and cooked items. Hot food was in small dishes, frequently refreshed and not dried out with eggs made to order if you wanted boiled, fried, poached, omelette by a lovely chef with a side order of some great banter! We did not have dinner in the restaurant but will do this another time as the menu looked very good and the food we did have was of a very good standard.

My colleagues and I booked here for our Christmas Work night out and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Booking with Kirsty was fab and she went above and beyond to accommodate us and answer any questions we had. We were sent a pre order form and so when we arrived it was simply a case of being served out food and enjoying ourselves. Lovely food and had a great time. Booked in for afternoon tea with friends in May so can’t wait to go back!

We had a family gathering for a birthday celebration at the restaurant. Service was very good as was the food. They provided a birthday cake and even sang happy birthday when they presented it. We had a very enjoyable evening.

Lovely elevated city center restaurant. Good choice on menu, we both had haggis starter, haggis fritter was delicious although poached egg on top was overdone but still tasty. I had shin of beef. Beautifully presented, very tender but very small portion fine for me but cordon bleu portion size. Partner had deep fried haddock and chips, good sized portion and very nice. Puddings good choice and beautifully presented again.

Went here with a group of friends for a 40th birthday lunch. Lovely restaurant with fantastic views over the city. Staff were exceptionally nice and very attentive, always asking if everything was ok for the birthday lunch. The chef even made our friend a lovely chocolate and sponge "birthday plate" a really nice touch. We had a 2 course lunch and the food was delicious, everyone enjoyed what they had. Would certrecommend this restaurant?

Just returned from a meal at this lovely restaurant. Very welcoming and unpretentious with terrific food. We were looking for a restaurant that offered a local flavour and this one certainly met our hopes. The tempura haggis with poached egg was delicious followed by the pork belly that was both crisp and tender. Our server Carol was attentive, informative and charming. Overall a great evening out.

Habíamos reservado como un grupo de 35 al menos 2 semanas antes de visitar el 16/03/19. Se explicó que nuestra empresa estaba pagando y la asignación por cabeza era de 49. 99 que no podía incluir alcohol. Finalmente, recibimos una copia del menú y cada uno de nosotros tuvo que dar nuestro pedido para la cena a esta hora. Aproximadamente una semana más tarde, se nos informó que, como la mayoría de nosotros comíamos bistec, esto era demasiado trabajo y que cualquiera que ordenara el bistec bien hecho o medio estaba bien, pero cualquier otra persona que hubiera pedido un medio raro tendría que tomar el medio o cambiar su Orden y se les dio 15 minutos para hacer esto. Pensé que esto estaba totalmente fuera de servicio. Nunca he ido a un restaurante y me han dicho cómo conseguiré mi filete y lo tomaré o lo dejaré. El día anterior a nuestra reserva, recibimos un correo electrónico para informarnos que nos estaban cobrando un cargo por servicio del 10%, de verdad. En el día en que llegamos, recibimos nuestra comida, un par de pedidos no estaban bien, pero se solucionaron, un par de personas tuvieron que perseguir los platos de acompañamiento pero finalmente los consiguieron. Pedí un bistec de costilla a los 28 y uno de los integrantes del grupo me dijo cómo lo obtendría y no cómo lo quería. Le indiqué a una de las camareras que había pedido un bistec de costilla y que le habían dado un solomillo que se fue y volvió y me dijo que era una costilla. Le dije que no, pero no quería causar una escena. . La comida estaba bien, pero definitivamente no vale la pena el dinero. Creo que es ridículo que un hotel de esta categoría no pueda dar una orden de comida según lo solicitado y sienta que tiene derecho a decirles a sus clientes cómo están preparados para hacer su comida y que pueden tomarla o dejarla. Definitivamente no volveré.

Top class food served with a view over the city, presentation is first class , and feels like you are going to vandalise a plate of art when you eat your food. I would recommend this place for those very special moments.

Visitamos este restaurante hace unos años y decidimos volver a visitarlo ya que estábamos buscando un lugar un poco especial para celebrar nuestro quinto aniversario de boda. La comida era tan buena como recordábamos y las vistas en la azotea de Glasgow por la noche hacen que este lugar sea muy romántico si consigues una mesa junto a la ventana. Las dos veces que hemos visitado, el restaurante ha sido bastante tranquilo, por lo que no hay mucho ambiente, pero hay una cocina abierta y es interesante ver a los chefs preparar su comida. El servicio es relajado, por lo que nunca se siente presionado para ordenar o pagar, y la comida es siempre deliciosa. No es barato, pero vale la pena para una ocasión especial, incluso recibimos una pequeña bandeja de felicitaciones de chocolate con brownies de chocolate complementarios.

This restaurant was located on the top floor of a hotel. We booked a table on Sunday evening. It wasn't a busy night, about less than half of the restaurant was filled. We were escorted to our table by the window. The night was young, the sky was gloomy, a rather romantic evening.

Came here for afternoon tea and have to say that for almost £17 per head it was not good value. Four small sandwiches, a scone, and a small variety of average cakes. We had unlimited tea and coffee, served in stainless steel jugs.

Excellent for afternoon tea or lunch very well served by lovely staff who are eager to please. Very nice atmosphere also, and the food is lovely. Would thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Attended this lovely cosy, warm and welcoming restaurant for a birthday meal. There were 6 of us. We all had a starter, main and dessert. The food was absolutely beautiful. This was such a great find by the birthday girl as we had no idea it even existed. I would most definitely go back.

We had a special birthday lunch here today and could not fault it. Food was delicious and the service outstanding. It's on the 7th floor so you have fantastic views overlooking the city. We booked through 5pm.com and got the market place 2 courses for £12. Fabulous value and a very thoughtful extra was thrown in for the birthday girl. Thank you to the chef and the waiting staff for making the dining experience so memorable. We will be back again very soon.

Came to the restaurant for the first time for work Christmas lunch and it is a beautiful place. Great views, nice decor and good atmosphere, even when quiet.

Our last visit meant dinner was of the festive sort as I do not eat turkey or chicken the chef prepared some lovely fish n chips for me those wee touches just makes a huge difference

A nice location for afternoon tea, but a bit disappointing, the sandwiches were fresh made but only 4 little pieces of bread,the scones were fresh baked but not the best ,on the plus side there was plenty of tea and coffee available to accompany the view of the City rooftops.

We came with five people to have a dinner in end of October. Food was very good, unfortunately you can see the view from windows only if your table is close to window when it is dark; our table was not :(

Purchased a deal for afternoon tea with Prosecco. We all enjoyed the food and the view. Great location and excellent service. We arrived earlier than our booking but were accommodated straight away by very helpful waitress. Would recommend.

A Glaswegian colleague booked a group of us for dinner here. We had a very enjoyable meal from a smallish-menu. Portion sizes were fairly small but sufficient, and we ate well. Great if you want to try haggis. Good value for money.

Visited here with two friends as a treat for my 60th birthday. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Pink gin was the nicest I have ever had. Only problem I had was we were the first patrons in when it opened at 12 but when two other ladies came in they were seated right next to ys when all other tables were empty. Not much privacy for either table. I will definitely be back

Decided to stay and eat in Glasgow after spending the day . We have stayed at the Carlton George previously so as it was a beautiful evening we decided to eat at Windows. Superb choice of dishes and a wonderful view of the city. They do a Market menu - 2 or 3 courses which was very reasonable. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and made the decision to return to the hotel again in the near future.

Windows is a great choice for dinner or just dessert. On our first night in Scotland we went to this place to get some dessert and check the view. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was wonderful, best we had our entire trip. Even got the receipe for it.

Myself and Hubby had the pleasure of dining in Windows on Saturday evening .The staff were welcoming and attentive without being intrusive .For starters I had the goats cheese and hubby had the Bruschetta , both were lovely and well presented , for mains we both had the fillet steak , again very well presented and cooked to perfection , one off the best steaks I have ever had ! , to finish we shared the cheese board which we both enjoyed . We also shared a bottle of Moon Harvest red wine which I would recommend as it was lovely . We had a window table with a amazing view of Glasgow . Thanks to all the staff for the excellent service we received , amazing meal in lovely relaxing surroundings , we were pleasantly surprised by the bill as it was very reasonable considering the quality of food , service and surroundings , looking forward to returning soon .

The first time we have been in Windows where do you start, the 2 waitress nothing was to much, the food was really good couldnt fault it, the view is something else saw parts of glasgow i had never seen before. The chef made a lovely dessert plate congratulating us on our anniversary what a great touch

Mi amigo me invitó a tomar el té de la tarde en el restaurante Windows en el último piso del Carlton George Hotel, he estado varias veces y el servicio es excelente cada vez, la comida es muy fresca y está muy bien presentada y con tantas tazas de té o café que deseas. Definitivamente recomendaría este restaurante, y volveré.

Muchas gracias por el excelente servicio que recibimos el jueves en el restaurante Windows. Había 24 de nosotros, y me pareció que habíamos tomado sobre el restaurante a veces como nos juntarse con parientes americanos que no habíamos visto en mucho tiempo.

Una gran relación calidad-precio. Conseguimos una oferta de 5 de la tarde, que era de 3 campos y una copa de vino por £21. 95. Yo estaba allí con un grupo de colegas, todos disfrutamos! Una comida agradable, con mucha variedad, las porciones eran del tamaño justo para que pudiéramos gestionar todas 3 campos. Gracias! Espero volver para té de la tarde en algún momento, parecía delicioso!

Primera visita a este restaurante. Elegido como estaba muy cerca de la estación de tren de Queen Street. También elegido porque nos dejaron una mesa de 2 - 6 pm para 13 personas.

El valor de la comida superó las expectativas, la comida era de excelente calidad y el personal amable.

Las raciones eran un poco pequeñas para el precio, especialmente pegajoso toffee y budín podría la hamburguesa con una guarnición y ensalada o algo así. Todo estaba buenísimo, aunque recomendaría el hongo gnocchi! El personal era encantador y el servicio era rápido. Poco decepcionado con las vistas.

Mi madre y yo decidimos el menú de "mercado" (creo que se llamaba) después miramos en la junta fuera del hotel y decidimos sobre lo que iban a tener. Cuando nos sentamos y nos dieron el menú, lo que mi madre iba a tener no era, y había sido sustituido por algo más, por lo que el menú fuera no coincide con el interior. Sin embargo, la comida era muy buena, así que no nos decepcionó en absoluto. El personal era encantador y nos cuidaron muy bien. Teníamos una gran vista como el restaurante está en la planta superior. Volveremos de nuevo el próximo año!

Mi amigo y yo tuvimos merienda aquí como un pre-regalo de cumpleaños. Las tartas, etc. eran adorables y tenía un asiento de ventana con vistas a los tejados, cogimos la oportunidad de salir en la terraza para conseguir algunas fotos. Sin embargo, lo más destacado fue la camarera Jackie - ella no podría haber sido más servicial, amable y atento, incluso llevando un plato con mí feliz cumpleaños escrito en chocolate. Todo el gran experiencia, sin duda volveremos.
