When is it reopening? Looks like it closed couple of months ago.

The staff where horrible and rude. Wasn't in more than a few minutes and was told I couldn't be served because i was too drunk. We hadn't even started drinking. Was strange there was only 3 small groups in that all looked like young teens. The place was not busy and I'm not suprised if thats how they treat their customers. Went on to have a great night but was quite upset at being judged for something I wasnt.

Nice welcome. Staff friendly. We arrived after food was no longer served and the bar lady went out her way and said they could still prepare and cook for us. Pizza was delicious! Very affordable and great value for money.

Shady and dingy! Not only did the staff not know what was going on, they were rude about it. The cocktails tasted disgusting and the manager had no idea about the hen party package we had booked via their website. When we said we’d booked table service she huffed and said that would mean she’d be back and forth all night. So the hen party package is false advertising - the staff have no idea what it is.

The staff are extremely rude and immature refusing to sell drinks that are clearly on the menu. Avoid at all costs

Unfortunately been coming here for years since it has moved from its last location. However came tonight with a friend. We were drinking bottles of Prosecco. We were told after an accident when a glass was accidentally knocked over and smashed that we could not be given another flute glass but instead given a heavy based glass meant for spirirs. Disappointed is an understatement ! Killed the experts d most likely won’t be back.

1st visit. Staff were amazing. Great food and drinks. Atmosphere was amazing. Great music too.

Supposed to open at 5pm,still not open at 6pm,wouldnt let one of our company in because of jogging bottoms but was wearing leggings and trainers herself, snooty, will never return first visit

Had an amazing night last night with all my friends in Cova before we went out clubbing. Hayley, Jennifer and Ellie were all amazing and so friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced.

Love this wee bar, always a good time with my pals. Music is always blasting (in a good way ;) ) vibes are always there and staff are great can’t complain. Get yerselfs down !!

Unfortunately had a very poor experience. Originally went to this venue as we had heard good things and there are good deals on the drinks. The night started off well when we were served by a friendly young woman. After this an older woman employee was extremely rude to me and my fiancé which dampened our date night. We observed the same treatment of other customers by her. Most of all my fiancé was offered drugs in the bathroom, there seems to be an intimidating group of individuals that this venue attracts.

Great cocktails and great service. I went on a Wednesday night and took advantage of the deals.

First time at cova was a great experience took in me and my friends as a walk in 15 on a Saturday night at their prime time. Always go above and beyond for their customers. Especially ellie who played a birthday song for my friends birthday and Jennifer the manager is so bubbly and friendly.

On the cheaper end and very spacious. However, the massive collection of spirits behind the bar seems purely decorative as the staff cannot make an old fashioned & there is only one beer on tap. Seems great for getting hammered though : )

Had a great time here on Friday, largely due to the incredible service by the bartender Carla. Incredibly quick service and recommended us some great cocktails that tasted amazing. Will be coming back again, hope to see her!

Was there last night for the 3rd time and the girl with the clipboard making sure we had a booking needs to learn how to smile, she was crabit the whole night and never smiled once. She didn't believe we had a booking for 4 either. The drinks were good but the atmosphere wasn't good and the music was worse. Also noticed the security didn't start till 8pm and no one was ID before 8pm which was weird. Might come back but the staff need better attitudes.

Six of us out in Glasgow...saw this place and thought...looks quite good... so went in. Sat in a round booth..looked ok. One waitress came to us and said..."No hats".. we asked why...no explanation given...just it's policy, no hats. Given our friend always wears hats and this part of their individuality we decided to go elsewhere. Initial thoughts of that's a bit strange turned to anger as we left and a female behind the bar shouted in the most disrespectful and sarcastic manner "Byyeee..." We then thought what if someone had to keep their head covered for religious reasons?..or they had been going through cancer treatment?..or their hair was thinning and they lacked confidence? In short they use their "dress-code" to discriminate against people they have already judged the minute they walk in the door. So much for an inclusive society. So we had a lovely time at the Amber Regent right across the street..£280 well spent... Big mistake..Cova...big mistake. Please note..had to give one star as was unable to post without a rating...actual rating is zero.

Saturday night, one bar staff serving, its not even busy, literally falling asleep in the queue waiting to be served, we left. Get more than one bar staff on on a Saturday night, it isn't difficult..

This place is an absolute riot would give 0 stars if possible. The staff were so rude walking about making comments about customers, the floor was so sticky my shoes nearly came off my feet and the drinks were absolutely rotten. Go here if you want a fight 🤠

The atmosphere of this place is not unlike an empty shipping container lying at the bottom of the ocean after a shipwreck. Floors feel like they’ve been varnished with gorilla glue was nearly pulling a cinderella and leaving one behind. Staff are extremely rude and pompous. Talking about customers really loudly and rudely and just being nasty. there was one slightly entertaining moment when a fight broke out in the middle of the bar. It’s definitely a place to go if you like dingy dive bars with nice big gashes in the interior and a free swimming pool on the bathroom floor.

Don't go here if you don't want to be fat shamed - my friend went up to the bar to order our food and the staff member behind the bar asked him if he'd been starving himself all week to order that. Not the kind of comment you want to receive when trying to have a nice night out and left us feeling a bit upset. Really bad customer service from rude staff - wouldn't recommend

Such good cocktails and hot food was great!

Drinks were nice but the staff were so disgustingly rude I also got my id checked in the middle of the dance floor which was very demoralising also the staff appeared to be quite toxic would not recommend again unless you like scheme people .

Highly recommend bar Cova! Bar staff were amazing, especially Jennifer who went above and beyond. Great atmosphere, and cocktails were to die for. Will definitely be back, the place had a great vibe.

As always at COVA we had an unparalleled experience from champagne to cocktails, collectively — our drinks were prepared to the highest standard and Jen ensured we were accommodated to the highest extent throughout the visit. Music requests were all accommodated too and overall, the vibe and ambience within the place was superb. Definitely recommend here whether it’s a work night out, a friends catchup or pre-club cocktails and shots. This venue is so diverse and undoubtedly will be back

I was here with my friend and we had an food then then my bf wanted to come as well and he is sikh so he wears something in his head the lady was so rude and told him to take it off and he came inside and told me that he is not allowed here because of his religion which is very very rude, I had a good then so far but after this I don’t think I am going to go back.

Would highly recommend this place, new favourite place to go. Girls behind the bar are lovely, cocktails are amazing. Will come back again.

the place is amazing, i visit here at least once a week sometimes more, the atmosphere is brilliant, the staff are amazing especially jennifer always going out her way to help and make sure customers are well looked after, the vibe is brilliant! food is great and the drinks are phenomenal 😍, defo the place to be! xx

An amazing establishment for great music, food and drinks at a very reasonable price, staff are very welcoming and kind. Great vibes in Cova, me and my wife are Sunday regulars and could not recommend anywhere better in than Cova for a chilled night for a good time.

Great cocktails made from scratch none of the made up stuff, its hard to find a good cocktails bar in town that makes amazing cocktails at fantastic prices, sam the bar lady was helpful helping me with good choices they were all delish 😋 it wasn't busy as it was a Thursday early evening so no real atmosphere and it felt cold inside but I think later on or weekends would be a different story, definitely will be going back 😀

Best bar in glasgow by a mile! Bar staff are always so nice to me and manager jen is a darling, so cheap and gd vibes all round! A lot of negative comments about it but they deal with hundreds of drunk customer in a very fast paced environment, be patient with them they work every day of the week!

Me and my friend came into Cova for our first time. There was no one there to help us get a seat so we started walking towards a section where people where already seated only for us to get shouted at from behind the bar and pointed towards a direction. Although it wasn’t the best start, we were still in high hopes but after a few more weird encounter with the bar staff talking about our ids and “having to be careful with those types of people” (keep in mind we are both dressed in black and both have dyed hair so this comment did seem pointed) we started to lose hope. After a 3 hour journey from dundee to glasgow, i still had my traveling bag with me and my juice which was left at our feet as we tried to enjoy our second round of drinks and waiting on our food to be delivered when a female staff member walking past raised her voice when announcing “Can you put that drink in your bag”. It would have been fine if the woman rather than raising her voice and walking past so fast we couldn’t even get out our apologies just simply stopped and asked us politely. The food was hot and fresh and although it was placed down on our table without even a hello, it was still nice to have hot food after being treated like this. Never going back to Cova, left after finishing our food and went to weatherspoons where the bar staff/ servers were actually nice people.

The staff is absolutely mannerless. The manager who I believe is called Jennifer was so rude for no reason! We simply took a seat and went to the bar and this lady made fun of my friend (who was only asking for a drink) and starting laughing with the other younger girls. I have worked in hospitality before and I get it! Maybe you find some people to be weird or funny but at least don’t make it obvious to your customer. She totally didn’t even acknowledge us and made weird comments under her breath. Someone tell her that a person standing a meter away from you can hear you not matter how low you speak. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all. Crazy thing is that she was so nice and lovely with some of the other tables. Differentiating between customers based of their looks and colour of skin is something that still exists I guess. One of the worst if not the worst service I have ever received in my whole life. I left immediately after that, ruined my mood completely.

Would give it zero stars if possible as the female bar staff are disgusting!!! If your a nice looking girl then these female bar staff are so petty with their jealousy it’s laughable, I’d say they need to grow up if they weren’t already middle aged!!!

This place is absolutely fantastic. My partner and I popped in on Sunday after seeing the prices and were blown away by pretty much every aspect. Jen and Amy were amazing and are a credit to the company. They were very welcoming and to be honest are the main reason we'll be returning. The food was tasty and cocktails were unbelievably good value for money and this place is now my number 1 go to place. Thank you so much
